I am SO allergic to Neosporin, the two times I used it, I ended up at the doctor's office (connecting the dots after the second experience), ....stop using, and call the doctor tomorrow if it isn't better!!

We had a very nice Easter. No exercise....ate, ate, ate all day long (and enjoyed every minute of it......I don't dare to check in at loseit.com, so many calories that I'd probably crash the site).

One of my Wednesday Walking Women's oldest daughter ran the Boston Marathon last year (finished before the bombing), daughter #2 is running it this year, so my friend is out there cheerleading. If you think you recognize a thin, enthusiastic blonde in the crowd, it might be her!

Nats: Good news on your procedure!

    Beautiful picture, Claire.

Sweet: So sorry about your BIL.

Nihahi: Hope your nipple continues to improve. Sending a special hug for your daughter.

Happy Easter! Happy Passover! Happy Sunday! Beautiful day today. Delicious lunch. Luckily I had time to power walk/jog late this evening.

Nihahi hope your nip is on the mend.  My PS took time off the day after my nip recon and had on call cover that I was able to use and hopefully you can do the same.  Healing thoughts to you and family.  Cheryl, you do know all the UK goodies and can count on me to send you anything you desire. The slow cooked lamb was excellent.  DH is here in the kitchen with me and last Thursday on way home from London bought sausages at Barbecoa a butcher the Jamie Oliver owns.At this moment on the skillet, Great Fire of London (lamb & chili) and italian sausage are sizzling away for brunch with a collie next to me licking her chops. Badger, what an eclectic shuffle you speed walk to.

Just in from a 5.18K run and off to body balance at the gym in a bit

Sweet - I'm so sorry about your BIL.  Red - sending love to you and all who love Gage.  Nihahi - glad the nip issue just seems to be a reaction to neosporin.  Hugs to your daughter.

Claire - beautiful picture, and Badger - LOL on your picture!  LB - your meals sound wonderful!  Two - good for you for taking some relaxing time to enjoy the sun and rest.

Did our 4 mile Nats Walk past the Capitol and down through the streets of Capitol Hill to Nats Park yesterday for a game. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we beat our  mortal enemy the Cardinals so it was a beautiful day all around.  The next part is for Ruth - Denard was the hero with a walk off sac fly.  He was mobbed by his teammates, then doused with Gatorade during his interview with the sideline reporter.  Good stuff!   Video of Denard getting mobbed by his teammates:  http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/28898650/v32240843/stlwsh-span-delivers-sac-fly-to-win-it-in-the-9th and Denard getting a Gatorade bath:http://www.masnsports.com/media.php?show_id=216330...

Nice day today so brought my running gear so I could run home.  It's a little over 4 miles, and I can take park trails for most of it.  10K race coming up this Sunday, so this will be my final tune up run.

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in NY.  Going to walk a couple of miles on the track here at work on my lunch.  I forgot my earbuds but sometimes the quiet is nice too :) Later this afternoon our two high school softball teams play each other, so I'm looking forward to fresh air and fun after work! Yesterday was just a leisurely stroll with my mom and Sis after over indulging in food and desserts.  Glad there are no more holidays now for a while.

What a relief to hear everyone is doing well.  [If worrying was an Olympic sport I would bring home the gold.Sick]

Passover and Easter seem to be drawing to a close and life will be going back to routine tomorrow.

Today's exercise was 45 minutes fast walking along the beach.

I found an Everlast Twist Board in my cupboard.  Anyone know of anything fun to do with it (besides throw it out to make more room)?

I remember those twist boards! I used to have one and would 'twist away the pounds'!

Zumba is cancelled for tonight, since it was a cloudy, cool, very windy morning, a friend & I went to the YMCA and did 'Fitness On Demand' (where you pick out which DVD routine you want & it shows up on a big screen). We did a cardio dance (35 minutes), core (15 minutes), weights (10 minutes) and 'Bikini Butt' (10 minutes). Now to try NOT to graze on the leftovers!

    OK here's my update.

1 hour with the chiropractor. Then 15 mins in treadmill, 30 mins weights and resistance and 15 mins stretching. Why the chiro you ask? O the irony. So I bent over to pick up my runners to go to workout class 2 weeks ago and put out my back. Sigh. I want to golf. Can not with this back. But they modified my workout so at least I can do that.

Nihahi, glad your breast is better today. Yay! Big shirts and big smiles rock!

Wow ruthbru, 6:29 mile - I would just be finishing the 5th block (and looking for a bench!).

Walked 30 mins at lunch today then came home and walked again.  Pedo reading just under 12,000 steps.  I love spring but legs hurt and I'm wiped out.

    Night my sculpted friends.

nothing but whatever steps it took me to get through a normal day today.

Annie - omg girl - love the new avatar!

Bounce - and an omg for you too!  I haven't googled it but I seriously think that's a modern version of a twister thingy my mom used to have.  I loved it when I was little - I used to stand on it and just twist away back and forth, back and forth.  If that's what it is I would think it would be great for the obliques!

Sweet, or it might make a good Lazy Susan. No, I remember those too, my mom had one as well. She would put on Roy or Tim or Englebert and she was twisting the night away. She still has a great figure.

Ruth, your friend is a great runner, weren't there something like 31,000 running? They said it was the 2nd biggest turnout ever.

Just got in from a 5k run.  Nice to feel on my game exercise-wise with the weekend cycling.  About this time of year, I start wondering if I have it for the summer cycling events.  No need to worry.  Run was my best so far.  I know that I could have done more than 40 miles on Saturday if not for the 25 mph wind towards the end.  Whipped my butt.

Things are going well work wise.  Busy, but not crazed.  I am sure that will change as running at close to capacity.

I think there is a metric century in 2 weeks time.  May sign up for that.  Still need to whip out those free weights, which I will do while potatoes are a-cooking.  Some of the largesse from my weekend rambles. - Claire

Wow Ruth  what an amazing accomplishment I'll bet her family are proud. Nihahi they are lovely flowers. Annie look at you, you've graduated from walking the dogs to running, woohoooooo. Oh Red I hope the chiro helped you.

This morning did Sh'bam and then tonight ... Drumroll please .... Body Combat with the wonderful Eduardo, he is back at our gym tonight and on May 12th, oh my, stupid me thought I'd be able to do Body Pump as well but my arms were like falling off by the end of class.

Nihahi, gorgeous pictures. Ruthbru, your friends' daughter is inspiring. Cheryl, woo-hoo for class with Eduardo!

Hooped outdoors today for a change (in the back yard) for about an hour then walked about two miles. It felt really good to be in the sun and fresh air.

Thank you Nihahi for the photos! They made me smile :)  Yesterday I did some light weights and yoga on my lunch hour, & walked about a 1/2 mile after work.  Clearly not a great exercise day, but it's something.  Today I walk at lunch, hoping to get 2mi in.  I am excited though to say that I signed up for an 11 mile hike on May 10th, to benefit our NY Blood Center.  As a regular blood donor all of my adult life, it saddened me that I can no longer donate with the cancer.  So now I have a way to support them, and while doing something I love.  My 2nd infusion is April 29th so I should be good for May 10th as far as side effects and energy go.  Can't wait! Another beautiful spring day in NY today, hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
