Jo - Congratulations on the good checkup. I know it must feel great to get a good report and not have to go back for 6 months. I'm wondering if I will have Dr. appt. withdrawals when I don't have at least one to see every week.

Judy67 - When I did not have a gazillion doctor appts - I did not go into withdrawals. It felt great. I realized how much more I could get done instead of sitting in waiting rooms all the time.

I had my yearly OB-GYN appt this morning - Walked in at 8:45 (15 mins early as I always am) - appt at 9 am - was in my car at 9:21. Just the way I like it, in & out! Last Dr appt until next MO visit Apr 3. And that is walking up & down to the third floor & across to the far side of the parking lot. Gotta get that exercise in when you can!

Hey ladies I'm back! The doctor seems to think I have Ulcerative Gastritis since the tests she did on me in the hospital all came back negative. She put me on Omeprazole 40mg daily. I am getting a little better every day. Sat and Sun were good days, today not so much since I am suppose to be on a bland diet and I stupidly ate spaghetti last night... not much just a little bit, but I ate it just the same. Ugh!! No more!! Bland is really hard though. It's the holidays...

Judy I had a good time and came home and went to bed early. We had an ornamant exchange and I came home with a beautiful glass cross ornament.
Mimi glad your on the mend. I also have gastritis that acts up sometimes. Tamoxifen really made it act it and I have been on prilosec ever since. It does help. Hope your tummy gets back to normal

Hello ladies.
Wanted to say "hi" to the gang while I can (since I am at work....ha ha). Dang computer caught a virus last night so I may be sporadic for a few days. Is it too late to get a request to Santa?
As for the "red Solo cup", I like the theory but hate the song.....lol
Mimi - hope you feel better soon - it is tough eating bland and at the holiday, it really bites! Hang in there.

Jo1955- I don't know when I start rads yet. My pathology is back and it states that margins are clear but one is close at 1mm. My BS is on vacation until Tuesday and he has to decide if that is too close.
Anyone else have a close margin at 1mm?0 -

Hawk I did and my Radiation Oncologist just decided to give me 39 treatments. The surgeon did not want to go back and re-excise since he took so much out to start with and said the tumor was small and deep. I laugh about the radiation now, but it was not so funny then. It doesn't matter as long as it did what was necessary to treat me. I really didn't burn too badly either. Hope everything works out for you.

Jo - I really expect to dance a jig as soon as I'm done, or at least as soon as my energy level returns enough to dance a gig. One of my husbands customers sent him an expensive red wine for Christmas and we are saving for an after chemo celebration.
Valjean - Yay for not having another doctors appt till April.
I start chemo tomorrow
so not sure if I'll make it on here tomorrow night or not. Sweet dreams to you all.0 -

Hawk...I had a 1mm margin but it was up against my chest wall so they couldn't get a bigger margin unfortunately. They just made sure to radiate that area well.
