I got really good news yesterday at my appt with my MO.  My Onctype came back at 10 so no chemo for me!  Rads will start in the new year and I have to pick up my Tamox. prescript (2 yrs then switch for the last 3.  2 indicators thru menopause, 2 indeterminate).  We talked about my next mammo and going straight to an MRI since all those 'false positives" weren't false in my case.  So good news for Christmas.  But I'm wondering does this feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop go away?

corgi09 - Congrats on the low oncotype score - that must be a big relief.  I did not have that test done - still escaped the chemo treatment.  Enjoy the holidays.

Granny, I'm praying for her too.  I'm sure a hospital at Christmas is no place to be.  Haven't experienced that but 12 years ago I got out of the hospital just in time to spend Christmas in a nursing home.  Not a good place to be either.

annettek, good to see you.  I've missed and have been saying a few prayers for you too.  I hope you have found some joy this season.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all my so very precious BCO friends.

Me days are great Granny..........I just don't want you to  be lonely, and I'm glad you weren't.....I worked so hard preparing for xmas eve (even though my 2 daughers helped)............I was exhausted last ngiht....somuch I could not fall asleep, and there wasn't a bone in my body that didn't hurt........feeling better today............went to my daughter Nikki's for breakfast, then to my grandaughters to see her, and  my son, who was there with his , grandaughters, and my G. grandaughters, then back home.  took a little rest, and then back to my Nikki's again for dinner.............wanted to visit  a couple of the other kids after 7, but just could not make it...........home now in my fuzzy red robe, and my furry red slippers, and feeling achy but ok.......................stay well granny, hugs.

Granny:  Everyone needs a "me" day once in a while.  I'm glad you enjoyed it, and glad your back feels better.  We're never alone or lonely when we have our sisters on BCO!

Everyone showed up on time to DD's for dinner and the gift exchange.  She cooked and her new boyfriend helped...everything was so good.  We had a blast...just got home.  I wasn't supposed to pick up the grands but what do you do when they put their little arms up for you...I couldn't resist, so I'll pay for it tonight with pains in my boob, but it was worth it.

Ducky...glad you had a nice day.  It's all about family!

I had a beautiful day with DH, DD#1 & SIL. I fixed a light meal & we visited & laughed. I talked to both Grands & my sweet little Mackenzie lost her first tooth Christmas Eve Day eating a piece of chocolate. She couldn't wait to tell me! DD had already sent a picture; so darn cute!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

    Merry Christmas to all.
Ducky, am with you - I spent the last three days non-stop...rads plus shopping plus wrapping plus cooking plus....all things I love to do, but am so darned tired.  Christmas was hard this year....I ache head to toe.  But am grateful that i am well enough.
My DS from San Francisco arrived for first time in years to spend Christmas. His partner came to meet the family  - there are a lot of us.  It was fun and exhausting.  Two hours drive each way to NJ for the funfest.
I had to stay up now and have some quiet time after all the noise.
Time to reflect on this past year and all the changes.  I was surprised that BC has not shut down my life; but it has changed me and my energy level.  I am grateful to be Stage 1 and I pray for all I've met who have huge walls to climb.
Am grateful for a place to meet with those who understand, do not minimize, and who always listen and encourage.
Kaara, take it easy - so glad to hear you are doing well.
Granny, I am glad to hear prayers are being answered for your friend.
I am going to enjoy doing nothing but enjoying my company for the next few days.
Hugs and blessings for you all.

Good Morning!  Well, as predicted, I overdid it yesterday, and I'm feeling it today.  Back to the compression sports bra until it feels better.  Holidays are great, but now it's time to relax a little bit!  I'm home alone today (YEA) as boyfriend plays golf with his son.

We're getting ready for our cruise that we planned on the spur of the moment to celebrate my clear margins and nodes!  Leaving on New Years Eve and sailing for 7 days in the caribbean.  We're going to work on the art of doing absolutely nothing!  We'll sleep late, have a light breakfast, hit the gym, lay by the pool, read, or walk around St. Martin or St. Kitts.  After that, dinner, a show, and maybe some dancing, depending on how we feel.  Absolutely no accountability to anyone but ourselves...not even going with friends this time, because that can get hectic trying to decide what everyone wants to do. DGD #2 is havig some difficulty with DGGD's daddy, so I am going to let her and baby stay at our house and house sit while we're away.  This will give them a cooling off period so she can decide what she wants to do.  I don't want my precious GGD upset by any of the nonsence that her parents are dealing with.

I see my BS on the 29th for a check to see how I'm progressing.  Also have an app't with my integrative doctor to give urine samples and have him draw blood for my toxicity testing.  After the first of the year, I'll start my vitamin infusions (Meyer's cocktail).

Hope everyone had a nice holiday with friends and family, or just enjoying a quiet day of relaxation.
