God gives you the strength, may you have the faith to accept it!  God is steadfast, it is we who waiver.  You have a strong faith, Granny, let God carry you now.

Mimi, you have put into words what I have been trying to say & pray...and have renewed my faith, too. AMEN!
    (((K)))
Hi nite owls, and west-coasters.  Was napping after a retirement party then fell asleep reading/posting here...
I am SO glad it i the week end.
DS is here from Chicago and tomorrow we see him to celebrate his BD.  I have no idea what to get for him...I think he'd rather shop for himself.  But I gotta have a little wrapped something for him.  hmmmmmm
Was out with people from work all night and OMG how 'high school' it was with the women - the "office ladies" who said there was no room for some of us at their table.  Long story, but I have little use for the untruths and petty sillyness that is typically coming from some people's mouths.  I will remind myself to avoid their area of the department until after hours when they all leave.  I think I will start sending all my copying downstairs to them to do, just to put them in their places...(I always do all my own everything)...but on the good side, I sat with a very loyal dear friend, and had a good time.   As my dear therapist friend tells me, "use these people for practice when you have to deal with their crap."
Off to sleep, and no alarm.
    Hugs & prayers,
    Joan

Granny I hope today continues to find you and your son doing well.  There is one thing to faith and healing and that is the willingness to accept your healing.  I have been taught this all my life by my grandfather who is now a retired minister and by all of my pastors.  They have always said "Name it and then claim it".  So, if your son is unable to at this time claim it for himself then everyone around him must believe and claim his complete and total healing.  God works miracles through us and sometimes he uses others and sometimes those miracles do not occur until we arrive at Heaven's gaits.  But one thing for sure, God promised it and it shall be done.  All we ever have to do is ask.  It is always there for the taking and he gives willingly and freely.  Know that each and everyone of us here continue to pray for your son and your family and it is important that you take care of yourself Granny.  We love you and God Bless.

    Hi Joan!

Finally got rid of that horrible headache. I have had them my entire life, mirgraines, stress headaches ~ come one, come all to Val's head. She don't care! I've probably popped more types of aspirin, ibuprofen, tylenol, you name it, than most have even bought. I know about rebound headaches & I have had those as well.

I'd better not have one tomorrow because I want to watch the Super Bowl

    because....

I am going to watch my 49'ers win!! Wishful thinking...... staying positive!

Hi Val,  I cannot believe you had the headache so long.  Glad it's gone. I am so worried about taking aspirin and excedrin now because I developed tinnitus and it will not go away.  (I used to notice something similar with using a lot of excedrin but it always stopped)
I am not a headache-y person, but there have been times where the only thing that worked was some kind of prescription pain killer.  I can't imagine going through that often (Often to me is more than once a year). Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday!  Val, at least you have a team to root for

K ~ My dear sistah ~ You are never far from my thoughts.... and your son.... Have you received any information as to why the surgery failed. Couldn't reach it, couldn't get it all or much more complicated than was thought? I still can't believe it.... all that time in surgery & it failed.... so very disappointing... I just don't know what to say....

You have my number & you know you can call me at any time. ♥

    My 49ers lost.........

We put up a good fight. Had a great comeback. Just not quite enough. :*(

(and I must say, as a 49er fan, a couple of non-calls~~anybody say, "Interference!" But, I'm not a sore loser... Congrats to the winning team.) There's always next year!

Granny - What a disappointment :(  There's no chance of trying it again if your son agrees and they correct the blood levels next time?  Are there other options to fix the aneurysm?

You all must be totally drained.  Please take care of yourselves!
