unfortunately looks like we are making gains. I am up 2. Maybe 2.5. Had my stage two recon on Friday and haven't exercised but still kept eating lots. Yesterday made strawberry rhubarb pie with fresh strawberries we picked and rhubarb from the garden.

I have a wicked rash from whatever they used to clean my body. So I'm super itchy and unhappy. I have a drain in my abdomen so hoping it comes out tomorrow when I see my PS!!

Falconer, After surgery you need to eat to heal. Sorry about the rash. I get one from tape. Good luck getting the drain out - they're they worst! We're getting strawberries and rhubarb from our garden. Best pies ever.

Falconer, I am allergic to Betadine. Anyways, it would be good to get you some antihistamine.

Nonomimi, congrats on finishing rads! Great to hear that exercise is making a difference.

Falconer hope you feel better soon.

I lost a little from previous week but still in that same range so no real progress. It looks like if I really desire to lose more I will have to make additional changes. My most successful week was when my 21 year old was gone on vacation so obviously I need to stop eating with him and eat with my husband instead.

My fever broke this morning and I'm down ONE kilo! I'm going to have a big breakfast to celebrate.

I just found this thread! What a way to hold me accountable! I have never told anyone how much I weigh so this is a huge step for me! After all my treatments, 4 sinus infections and one round of cellulitis I got up to 161 (March 2018)The antibiotics made me so hungry or the Tamoxifen did one.

This morning I am 146!!! I have not stepped on the scales at my house in MONTHS!

Varga, I'm so happy for you! Heidi, glad you're feeling better too.

Yesterday I had lunch with my sister and my two DSs. I ate a salad with chicken, etc, at what she said was her favorite restaurant close to her office. Well, by mid afternoon my stomach was aching and turning rebellious. Spent the evening trying to calm the beast! Likely food poisoning as no one else was complaining. This is not how I want to lose weight, but I wasn't surprised to see that I was down 2.5 pounds this morning. Sticking to tea and toast today.

    Welcome Varga!

After being on vacation last week, I wasn't expecting a loss, but at WW this morning I was pleasantly surprised, down 2 to 151.4. Starting Friday we have 10 days of company (3 separate groups), so it will be interesting to see if I can maintain this.

I’m up 1 but expected more actually. I blame all the pre-retirement lunches and last weekends house party.

I stayed the same, which is ok.

Well I'm finally back home from 5 weeks in Sydney supporting my 89 and 87yo parents. I went to Mum in hospital then Dad had a stroke the day I was due to fly home ☹️. Fortunately it wasn't severe and he's a tough old boot, he's been doing his OT every day to get his hand movements back but just hasn't got the energy he used to have. They've finally got much more home support so I felt I could come home, but sending my daughter up next week to follow up.

I was fairly good with restricted feeding and avoiding excessive carbs the first 2 weeks, but after Dads hospitalisation I just gave in ☹️. No gym for the 5 weeks but the days they were in hospital I walked from/to the train twice daily so kept my steps up, and I walked with both of them separately once the were discharged, so better than nothing. But this morning I was pleased to see I had only gained 2.1kg in the 5 weeks, I thought it would be much worse! Anyway I'm back on the wagon today with restricted feeding and back on Chronometer to help with keto. I'm highly motivated again so let's see how I go in 5 days next Wednesday. Keep going everyone, persistence is key.

Hello Varga, nice to have another WWer joining us! No weigh in for me for a few weeks though as I’m travelling. I’ve already noticed that I’ve started to eat more basically I’m going off the rails, because I know that I’m not going on the scales. Who am I trying to impress? The psychology is so weird! X

I am in the middle of a home renovation project and can't get to my scale (that's my story and I'm sticking to it Loopy).

    Haha Ruth!

Bella, what a time you have had these past few weeks. Your parents are lucky to have you as a daughter. Glad you are home and can get back to your routine.

Bella, glad your parents are continuing to have some quality of life at their age. They're fortunate to have a caring daughter like you. Sounds like you limited your weight gain under stressful circumstances, so that's a WIN!

I will be going home to Louisiana for two weeks in July to spend time with my 95 yr old mother who lives in a nursing home. It will be very tempting to share high calorie meals that I buy and bring to her. She loves fried seafood, catfish fillets, oysters, shrimp. I will attend WW meetings there and have access to a gym. Still, I will face a challenge. Life is a challenge when it comes to weight control!

Oh, Bella, that's tough when both parents need you at the same time. Good job by you.

Varga, Pat, Heidi, what fabulous surprises! Ruth, maybe you'll have a surprise when you find your scale.

Falconer, I hope you feel better. Yes that is not the most fun way to lose weight. Sometimes I wish the tentative appetite would last longer in that situation, but mine always come back too quick.

Carole, I can actually eat fried shrimp if I just accompany it with veggies. Just like with BBQ. its the sides that kill me! The South has the best sides. sigh.

I am late to report in but I am down this week .8 lb. I was super hungry two days this week but stayed the course. I'm going to try hard to string together a few more good days and maybe I can drop another pound.

Carole, gee u r good to still attend WW and gym while visiting ur mother! Enjoy a few of those special foods with her.

Well I've lost 1 kg so I'm pleased about that! Have been pretty close to my macros each day, which I never have before. Ive reduced protein to 60g because I think I was having too much, but also I've injured my back so haven't been back to gym yet, which is killing me! Last night I made myself eat 1/3 cup coconut oil to meet my fat target, not pleasant but I was pleased when I'd done it! But tonight I need to eat 1/4 cup and am struggling. May have to look at Fat Bombs or something again?

I'm off Avanza (Mirtazapine) now, so that might be helping with weight loss. I'm going out for lunch the next 2 days and expect to be bad 😬. But will fast before and maybe after, will have to see how things go.

You deserve a gold medal, nonomimi.

While in Rome I did as the Romans do and ate very well. I am up and back to square one.

Thanks ladies. The raw broccoli for breakfast was the worst breastfast ever but I had to eat it b/c it was July 4th and I know i will have to cheat later at a party. And I did. Ate tortilla chips and a mochi ice cream. :[. Back to square one, too
