It's amazing at the difference it makes......My DH sometimes comments on the amount of noise (my sheets) coming from my bed as I toss and turn.  We shar a room but not the bed as we wake each other up all the time....not good for either of us........besides, he has waaaaay more blankets than I do.

    Hope yours get there soon!

Me too!!! I was pleased the 120 got past customs. Looks like they came from Germany based on the postage sticker. My new perfume I ordered also arrived today, so it was like Xmas. I get my perfume from Essential Mall - an Aussie site - costs so much less than in the shops!!

Also, my brain MRI seems to have been OK. I called them today as it's been 10 days since I had it and the docs girl said the films were on his desk and he has seen them and he would have called if there had been anything wrong. Doesn't help my tinnitus though (which is why I had it). Still good to have a baseline reading for the future and it only cost me $7.90 because of the safety net!!!

Now that's even better news!   I agree abou the base line thing....I had a head shot done last year as I was getting some really bad headaches but it came back clear for nasties just showed up the really aweful arthritis I have in both mandible joints....ugh!!   Oh yes!  it's great when you reach the safety net!!  I don't need to worry about any tests or scans anymore as I'm on a pension and the Gov. pay for it all.......taxes at work!   I still maintain my private health as it streamlines a lot of treatments for me and gives me options but boy that is starting to bite into the budget.

I've hit both safety nets again this year, so I get 100% of the scheduled fee plus 80% of the out of pocket. So for a scan that cost $488 - that was a bargain. The parking cost me 20!!!

Shame we can't get a rebate on the parking fees!  I hit the medicine safety net at the end of November last year and laughed my head of when I got the notice it was 29th Dec when received and they reset  the 1st Jan.........lol  Because I only pay $5.60 for my meds and DH does to, it takes us awhile to reach the net limit.

Susie...I love Downton Abbey as well....those sisters are really starting to come into their own...not as nice as they first seemed! I think tonights ep should be good though like you I record it and watch it later.

I have gone from 5 days work down to 4 and can't believe the difference it makes. Hope you go well with full time.

Your new kitchen looks great Chrissy. I was having problems with my oven and spent time on the net researching new ones. Got so confused...nobody seemed happy with their ovens!! I ended up spending $350.00 to get mine fixed so that will do me for a while.

Lovely winter day in Melb. though showers later...better get off the computer and get my washing off the line.Sunday is catch up day for me.

Update on the melatonin - it works way better than the homeopathic one - 2 good night's sleep in a row. DH is going to try some tonight. He needs it as he always wakes up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep - something I don't have trouble with.

Good to hear from you Jezza. Lovely day here in Brissy!!!

Glad to hear you are getting good results Sue....hopefully your DH will get the same.  I love the way they just disolve in the mouth and they taste like strawberries!

Mine just said to take them, not dissolve. I checked the web site because the writing was so small and it doesn't say anywhere to suck them or chew. I guess it depends on which ones you bought.

Love n hugs back at you Chrissy :)

I got the disolvable ones as they were the smallest amout available.  I'm afraid I'm a bit cautious now when I buy on the net as I've been burned a couple of times so I get the smallest possible a) to see if they are what they say they are and b) to make sure they work.  I'll probably get the larger size next time.

I don't blame you Chrissy - mine was $20 inc postage, so I wasn't too worried about losing it. Now we know we can get 120 past customs we should go for it. There's no way customs would know how many are in the package anyway - it didn't look like it had been opened and the customs declaration just said supplements and that it was a gift.

I started at 3mg and moved up the scale for effectiveness but I have been on them for a long time.

Anyone watching Wimbledon?  The 18yo Australian has got off to a good start by winning the first set 6-1.  I've been following Bernard Tomic since he was a junior champion at age 15. If he wins this he'll be up against Djokovic in the quarter final.

Woo Hoo, won in straight sets.  Now to see if Djocovic will be his opponent.  At least I don't have to be up half the night to watch this time.

    Sleep well all.

The quarter finals are under way.  Djokovic won the first set, 2-6.  Tomic won the second, 6-3.

That sucks.  I hope you'd finished cooking etc.

Djokovic won in four sets.  He's only lost one game all year and they're expecting him to move up to No 1 seed so I never expected Tomic to beat him.  Tomic should move to about 72 rank and walks away with about $207,000.

In the juniors there's an Aussie girl just turned 15 and ranked 12th in round 4 tonight.  I know they won't show the match but she's following Tomic's path.  Watch out for Ashleigh Barty.

Hi Girls - I have now completed a whole month full time at work - I am now officially finished my income protection claim. Only 2 and a bit weeks until we go on our big overseas trip. I got great new suitcases that only weigh 3.7 kgs!!! Everything seems to be to normal for me now except I had to schedule my mammo/us and mri for when we get back. I also have a zometa infusion on the 28th Sept so all of that will bring the whole bc thing back to me.

I hope you are all well

    Sue
