Yay! Step one Mel........I'm sure you will feel a lot more comfortable once that is done. Any word on when they have scheduled the biopsy? If not, here's hoping it's soon.

I loved meeting you face to face at last and I loved that I got to meet your parents. .....they are both lovely and simply adore you.

If you are still in on Thursday SMS me and I'll come by again.

Rest up lovely as you have a big day tomorrow.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Mel so pleased you met our Chrissy she is just so wonderful. And it is good that things are getting sorted. Sending love and prayers.

Now for some ordinary news from me. Hahaha. On Monday we were hit by an unusual storm. For about an hour we had graupel falling. Bet you haven't heard of that? I thought oh it's a hail storm then looked closer- no not hail and not snow even though it was about 5 degrees. I went out and these large flakes landed on me. My mind remembered what DD2 had said, it was frozen rain. Since we have found its called graupel. Well so what. Loads landed on our roof and blocked the gutters. Sma leak in kitchen which we sorted then sudden heard water running and went into the bathroom and water wa pouring in. My sister and I spent the next hour emptying buckets of water which was coming down the light and through the fan grill. DH arrived home and had to sweep the sticky ice off the roof and clear the gutters. Luckily the bathroom ceiling is OK because it is water resistant gib board. And because the ceiling has been lowered and above it is a wonderful space where we store things like boxes of decorations and all the boxes of things left here by our children. Now a great number of boxes sit in my hall. The decorations are in plastic storage boxes but the rest in cardboard ones. Have been through most now and got things out of soggy boxes. So today I have to go and get more crates so things can be stored safely.

But at present I am having my cup of tea and have cat on my knee.

    Big hugs.

Oh dang Aly!! Not what you needed at all. Enjoy that cuppa before heading out to get some storage bins.

Other than having to clean up and sort out from the flood, how is your back doing now? It's been a couple of weeks since the injection and I am hoping it has made a big difference for you.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Aly - that was an "exciting" time for you! Not! Glad you ended up getting it all sorted out.

    Hi all

Mel I hope you are doing better.

Guess where I ended up yesterday? Yes in hospital !!!

I told my GP about my pain in my left side and he checked me and told me to go straight to hospital. I was in their overnight and came out this afternoon. I have 2 large masses in my uterus. I had CT scan, ultrasound and blood tests. They said the masses have liquid and solids in them and the Doctor is waiting on Tumour Markers from a blood test for tomorrow. They seem to think it's related to my breast cancer.

I'll be going to the women's hospital for treatment (surgery?) maybe next week. I'm still quite sore but just have to keep going until it gets sorted.

    Will keep you all updated.

    Carol

Damn Carol! OMG!! Hopefully those masses aren't cancerous and can be removed easily for you. I'm so keeping my fingers crossed that that is the way it goes. Yup, you are right, the only way to go is one foot in front of the other, slow and steady and eventually things get done.

Yes please lovely, do let us know what is decided and the results of your markers, that will be an interesting one for sure.

Haven't heard from Mel today so I hope she is feeling okay after having the fluid drained from her abdomin. I'll ring the hospital in the morning to check and see if she has been sent home or if she is still there.

    Love n hugs all! Chrissy

sorry girls, yes been very busy, our circumstances have changed and we have to rehome all our animals. sad time as they are really special. but that's the way it goes, the horses are going to be looked after for 12 months, free grazing and we will look at it again, they will get the two geldings at the end. we are drawing it up legally so no rip offs from any party can happen, they are responsible for everything of them and their needs.. but anyway I will be busy til they all gone and will be back with you all again. Donkeys all been sold, some south of us and two going to Auckland sunday. hope to be back on board soon. love to you all. xxxxx

Oh aussie, your bc was stage 0 non-invasive wasn't It? Are you taking tamoxifen? That can sometimes cause uterine problems. I do hope this issue is not serious and can be quickly resolved. I'm sure you don't need the drama and inconvenience.

Midnight, I hope your animals will be well cared for in their new homes.

Yes Racy, that worries me, how will people treat them. But I am sure after meeting the people on Tuesday, we have done right, I know the donkeys are in good hands. They said, one of them, called salt. he is white picked up her egg basket she had just collected eggs, and he came and picked up her egg bucket with eggs in by the handle and took off with it. lol. he is a sod for opening gates, especially tied with string. he is a character,.

hi all. Yes Chrissy it's a bit of a surprise. Especially with me and Mel going through similar problems. Racy I had only a small amount of invasive 3mm. Hopefully it won't be from the breast cancer. Nice to hear from you Midnight. Will keep you updated. Carol.

Carol I am so sorry to hear your news. I am sure that has been a scary turn of events.i hope you get answers and a treatment plan soon.

Midnight, I am sure you will miss your lovely animals. Sounds like you have done everything you can to re home them well.

Aly, what an experience you have had. I hope order has been restored and that you didn't overdo things.

I took another big step in recovery today by driving myself to mum and dad's for a cuppa. Since my wound repair surgery I have been recovering well but have had very limited use of my arm. This has been a big step forward.

Yay Jac!! Sounds like the healing has indeed gotten on track. What a wonderful feeling it is to get behind the wheel of your car and know that your independence is still there.

Hope your cuppa with your mum and dad was as enjoyable as your first drive.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Jac, that is great you are going forward.

lots of news on the boards this week both good and bad hope next week opens the door to better things. I have been working 4 days per week for the last 13 years but now have extra responsibilities from a stepson moving back home which financially has cost us a lot. I have an opportunity to go back to work full time which means a reasonable amount of money. It is a fairly taxing job and I hesitate going back because of the demands on me mentally and physically a hard decision as the money would make a huge difference to our family . Melp I hope u are going ok glad u can support her Chrissy Carol hope this is sorted soon with a good outcome sending positive thoughts and hugs. Jac sounds like u are starting to get your life back.😀 hi to everyone else jude

    Hi all

My Doctor is organising more tests for me, camera down throat to stomach, colonostamy etc, I suppose all to rule out cancer. Hopefully that will get started next week. Obviously there not sure what the masses are attached too. I'll be going back to work tomorrow as I haven't got an endless supply of sick days/holidays.

    Thanks everyone for your thoughts

I got home yesterday afternoon. Haven't seen much of an effect on the size of my stomach yet but am feeling a little less tight. Dad got some cleaner to clean up my place today and they did really good job!

had another chest ct this morning they didn't use contrast dye. Ate most of my dinner tonight.

carol those growths may be fibroids I have one. Sorry to hear you are having troubles.
