Linda sorry to hear about your shop, wishing you lots of good thoughts.

Well I had 4 core biopsies, so feeling tender...just have to wait now, but he seemed more positive than yesterday :)

One area looks like ductal ectasia and the other is 'very lobulated hypoechoic focus with some posterior acoustic enhancement'.... what that means I have no idea

    Thanks everyone xxx

    Kylie, thinking of you xxx....

Lynda, great to hear from you here! I hope the decision to close your shop was a good one. You invested a lot in it. I hope too that your next employment venture will be satisfying.

Trish, I am thinking the photography business is your new job. I can identify with the relaxing/hibernating inclination! Could be the weather?

Best to everyone else. We are all in this together.

    See y'all in Melbourne X.

Thanks for the lovely welcome back ladies. Kylie, glad the core biopsies are done with and hope the results are back asap and that all is well.

Closing the shop was something I had to do as the rent was unreasonable and I was losing so much money these last few years so Ive done a lot since then. Ive moved in with my mum and have the house on the market, vacant. I've had to surrender 3 of my dogs as I could only bring one to mums house. That was and is the most heartbreaking for me as they were my kids, I know you understand. Been applying for every job under the sun since January and had a few false starts, theres some very weird employers out there that shouldn't be running businesses. Today I had my first shift at a part time position that has been created for my skills with Woolies and Im waiting to hear about another job that I will brag about if I get it lol so finally things are looking up financially.

Im happy living with mum as the company is good for both of us. Im well over the 5 years of arimidex and bone density is still holding and have had no recurrence scares so overall health is good.

I should know about this other job sometime this week or next with a start date of end of July so as long as I get it, I think I will be able to afford to fly to Melbourne but wont be able to miss a day of work I don't think, still I could fly down late Friday Im sure and not miss much of the fun. I hope so cause I absolutely have loved our meetups and cant wait to see everyone again.

Lynda, I think you make good decisions and understand the factors that have impacted on them.

Best wishes all round and would love if you can come to Melbourne. I'm waiting for Qantas sale to confirm my flight.

    Keep in touch! Xxxx

Linda, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get the news you want with that other job.

I think we have all become such good friends that no matter where we are with this disease popping in here and staying in touch is a good thing.

Sometimes we have to do things we'd rather not but in the long run we do because it is best for where we are at that point in time. I get how hard it would have been to give up your dogs and not a decision that would have been taken lightly. (((((((Hugs))))))

So hoping that you can get to Melbourne.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Oh Linda when I think of you I picture dogs, it must have been difficult but I am glad you are enjoying being with your Mum.

Noted I am very visual: Racy I imagine horses, Chrissy crocheting, Trish with her camera to name a few ;)

Oh Linda - I'm feeling your pain with the dogs ((((hugs))) that would have been absolutely heart wrenching. I'll keep everything crossed for you that you get the job you can brag about. It's a big change in your life, but it will be nice not to have to stress about where the money is coming from xoxo

Kylie - hope you are coping ok at the moment - did they say when the results would be in?

I have a working loo!! Yay!! My bathroom should be finished (except for the shower screen) on Friday. I'm so relieved. We can still shower very carefully without the screen, so I can't wait.

Freezing here again today - it's 12.45pm and only 3 degrees outside.

    Trish

    xoxo

Kylie, I know waiting for results is so hard. Try to think positively. (I googled what you posted about radiologist assessment and it seemed ok?). We will help you anyway.

    Sleep tonight, Racy xxx...

Hi all. So pleased to see some old faces. And welcome to the newbies.

Hugs Kylie have all fingers crossed. And Lynda so good to see you here.

Sitting over the heater here as we didn't light the fires tonight. DH has a cold and went to bed so no wood in. Will get there very soon myself. Back problems not resolving.

Christ pleased to hear DD is improving and that you got home for a celebratory weekend.

    Hugs to all

yAy Mel, the wait was worth it. So good you are pleased.

Hoping to find out tomorrow. I feel like such an idiot, when I was getting US she asked if I ever felt lumps. I said no, and realised yesterday that I had felt this about a month ago and dismissed it as the cyst they found last time. :(

Feeling pretty good today :) Still tight but I think my body is adjusting to life without the drain. Taking things easy

Hope you adjust quicly to no drain but don't be surprised if you need to have it manually drained if it gets too tight and painful. It will settle sooner rather than later but in the mean time you are doing exactly the right thing by taking it easy.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy
