    Chrissy,

You know best but lung specialist and afinitor...I think mTor inhibitors can cause a non interstitial pneumonitis.

Does not sound like you were on it for that long but then again you did gethorrid mouth sores - its all about membranes.

Dont listen to me I am ad libing but ...worth a question.

Thanks Wildplaces. I've had this breathlessness for a long time but seemed to get worse with the Affinitor.

I saw the onc yesterday and it has been decided no more of either the Affinitor or the Aromasin. Beside the mouth sores from the Affinitor the Aromasin has really messed with my balance and hearing, so much so that I'm using a stick to stay on my feet and still wobble like a drunkard. He has ordered an MRI to make sure there is nothing untoward but also said no rush, after we get back from overseas is just fine so I have an appointment for that on the 29th April and then see him on the 30th April. We will at that time finally decide which line of treatment to follow but it looks like it may be Xeloda. Anyway, no treatment while I'm away and I'm cool with that, at least I will be able to enjoy.......lol.

Carol, hope things are picking up for you and the normal rhythms of your like are being restored.

Judy, how are you faring? I've got everything crossed that you are on the up side of things.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Operahouse, thanks for the thought and I only wish I could exercise, even walking is difficult particularly when there is a slight rise I the path. I'm not just short of breath, I gasp as if I'd run a marathon.😁 Good on you for being able to walk that far.

Chrissy - no surprise there, you have it covered. Enjoy your travel - it sounds great! 😊

Delvzy - WBR should have both running, and now ....dealing with IV chemo - you are in my thoughts and prayers. It sounds like you are getting some tough and aggressive treatment, its ok to loose the plot a little.

I reslly liked the photo you posted.

Judy it's great to hear from you. Sleeping while on chemo is pretty normal, your body needs the rest. Remember - one day at a time, and sometimes it's just one hour at a time. You are in my thoughts.

Wildplaces, thanks for the thoughts, I'm a lot better now. Still have a huge lump on my forehead, and I mean huge. It's been three weeks, and I know there wasn't a fracture or break, so not sure how long it will take for the lump to go down, I forgot to ask my dr!

Chrissy - when do you leave?

    Trish

Trish, we leave next Friday........in a weeks time at this time, we will be making our way through security at Adelaide airport. Not long now but still lots of bits and pieces to complete. I guess the excitement will hit as I board the plane as right now my head is going in ten different directions.. .. lol.

Wow! I can't believe you still have a huge lump.......must have ended up a huge hematoma for it to take this long (and longer) to go down.

Judy, as Trish said one day at a time, one hour at a time. You know we are all here for when you want to have a grump about it all. Sending the warmest but gentlest (((((((hugs))))))))) I can muster.

    Take care all!

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Chrissyb I love that moment when you sit back in the plane and realise there is nothing more you can do, just get on with the trip. I am praying for enough puff for you to enjoy everything you want to do, in sparkling sunshine. And absolutely no events of medical interest.

Trish, what a bummer - hope your bump soon disappears.

Delvzy, you are a legend. Sorry it is such a hard time for you. The not getting out of bed is sometimes a sign of depression. Your body and mind metaphorically pulling the doona over the head. Which is justified, but a waste of your good time. It would be lovely if we could all live in a village so we could help each other.

    Thanks Trish.

Yes, just one day to go before we are out of Burra and two days before we are winging it across the world.😁

I have been busy making a padded pouch to carry my camera and lenses so I'm not weighed down with a second bag......it turned out pretty near perfect if I may say so myself and fits perfectly in the new bag I bought myself. The bag is reasonably large but can be used as a hand bag, a cross body bag or a back pack so extremely versatile and large enough to carry all the essentials without having to dig for them.

Arie, the darling man, has decided to share his cold.......I did tell him it wasn't necessary but he has insisted so right now I'm dry coughing with a runny nose and no real energy.. .......hope it clears a bit before lift off......lol. I still have a list of things I would like to get done before we leave but I'm beginning to doubt that they will happen........never mind, I'm sure we'll all survive.........it's just me being a little OCD......😂

    Take care all you lovelies.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Thanks girls for all your well wishes. I'm sitting here at my youngest daughter's, it is almost midnight. She and my hubby are sound asleep, but as you can tell, I'm wide awake. I still have crap going through my head re the things I have packed and what, if anything, I have forgotten, about the time we need to be at the airport etc, etc........I think you have all done this at some time or other.......lol.

Yep, after months of waiting for this time to arrive it is finally here........in the morning, once we get to the airport and we are in the boarding lounge, I think I will relax and start to enjoy.

Take it easy all and stay as well as possible.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy ❤

Hi girls! The day has arrived.......we are off! Presently sitting in the boarding lounge after spending time having coffee with my girls before entering the International section of the airport.

I can't wait to get on board and settled so I can finally relax and rest........not a good night last night, about two hours sleep and that only because of pure exhaustion.

Pic taken of daughters with parents. Eldest, Camille behind me and youngest, Mareike behind her dad.......yes, DD1 has a sense of humor hence the rabbit ears.....lol.image

    Next stop, Hong Kong.

    Love n hugs all! Chrissy

Chrissy - yes age will do that lol!!

I have good news! I have my genetic testing back and am negative for BRCA1 and 2 and also for PALB2 and another one, I think ATM? Anyway - this means I don't have to have my ovaries removed. The genetic counsellor told me I could have another faulty gene that they don't know about yet - or I'm just "unlucky" to have had three different breast cancers. I'm just relieved I don't have to have another op!
