Hahaha!!!  Popcorn was my supper last night!  It's really my favorite "non-meal" of all time!

Ladies - I finished my travelblog of Paris so if you want to finish the journey, it's out there for you along with pictures of food porn Cool

We are having burgers and corn for supper, along with the leftover waldorf salad and maybe some cole slaw.   On Wednesday the grandkids are coming for a sleepover.  It's supposed to be in the 90's and I think they'll be playing in the water.  And I've already put in my request for grilled pizzas for supper!  The kids may eat the pizza or I may need to make them some mac&cheese.  And of course, some salad or cut up veggies and ice cream cones!

I always ate the microwave popcorn in a bag until i found out just how bad it was for you, so now i dont buy those anymore and put reg popcorn in a brown bag and pop it in the microwave. It is a healthy snack until i put my chocolate chips and franks hot sauce mixed with butter on it.

I usually don't cook for just myself either unless i have leftovers i will have just popcorn, funny how must of us here eat like this.

I got up early this morning thanks to a lovely spider on my wall above my head this morning for some reason i woke up and focused on this thing,. It usually takes me time to wake up before i actually get out of bed, i dont think i ever jumped out of bed so fast in my life. arrghhh!

i am so anxious not being on chemo (I start Wednesday)  my cancer is growing like weeds.. it's quite scarey.

Eric..here's to no more chemo after these doses... fingers crossed for you.

Apple I hear what you are saying.  My last chemo is this Friday - my surgery wont be until the beginning of August... I mean what is going to keep the cancer that is still in my body from running rampant.   Its a scary thought for sure.

For dinner I am thinking fish - not sure what type yet - I need to get off my butt and go to the store..although i do have some tuna steaks in the freezer... mmmm - now that is sounding nice.

Michelle- I just read your blog. The pictures were amazing, i especially loved the muriels on the ceilings. so beautiful. The food looks and sounds so amazing, you should or could be a writer. I had to laugh at the story with your neighbor in the restaurant looking out for you and letting Rick try the fish. So cute.

Apple- Sorry you are having progression with your cancer. I pray the chemo with kick its arse and with mild SE. (((hugs))))

Tazzy- Yeah for last chemo on friday. You are having the surgery after chemo is done? Hopefully the chemo shrunk the tumors.

I say prayers every night for all my sistah's here. love you all.

Yep.. I had neo-adjuvant chemo cos the tumor was so large and aggressive 8+cm.   It has definitely shrunk, they think by at least half so the chemo although makes us feel crap, does work !

    Hang in there apple.

And debbie... do you have any English in you... you're the only American/Canadian I've see that writes arse and not ass Smile

Eric- Yum on the subway, your sharon is very lucky to have you, you take such good care of her. As im sure you are very lucky to have her too. :-))))

Tazzy- My daughter had the same exact dx as you in your signiture line, with a large 8 cn tumor as well. They thought her's was just a cyst, she was barely 30 when dx so they removed it first not thinking it was BC, Makes me wonder if they did the right thing but she is doing ok now so i guess that's good though.

i tell you he is one funny little genius.. he has the energy of a slug..  refuses to study, is quite the genius and works at 'just passing'..   his jokes are hilarious.  that picture is at least 5 years old.  he weighs about 240 now.

When he was five, we had a priest for dinner.  the priest sneezed and Gene (5 or even 4) says "knock knock"

    who's there?

    God!

    God who?

    God bless you..!!

we all were stunned... it was such a random moment.

We both can come up with jokes on the fly.. i feel a special affinity for that guy... i guess i am training him.

    "i don't want a C mom.. i just need a D."

You'd think I'd be able to figure out how to motivate him.  His freshman year yielded D's .. next year will be C's by golly, then B's then A's for his senior year.... that's my plan.

he is just so very darn smart and so so sweet.  His teachers are blown away.. they say that he knows more than anyone in the class.. he just won't write it down or turn in his schoolwork.  he like to read prehistoric poetry... i mean he reads original works that i would never consider reading.

Too cute apple.  The boy must be a genius that he doesn't need to write it down.   There have been so many genius's who dropped out of school/college.  Bet his IQ is off the charts Smile
