Laurie, I glad you didn't get a break--as in somethig broken, lol.

Laurie, sorry you had more trouble. Diana, just a note, be careful when you sprout something. Samonella can be a problem with home sprouts.

You all sound like amazing cooks! I am hoping that you will inspire me. I haven't been doing much cooking since my dx. I've been so lucky in that my friends have provided meals for many nights since then. The downside is that I have gained a ton of weight from all the comfort food!
Tonight my DH and I are going out to dinner with some friends. My son had 4 wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and the oral surgeon thought he could eat pancakes today so that's what I made for both kids' dinner. I used the recipe on the back of a bag of ground flax seeds. The recipe called for buttermilk, but I used almond milk instead. They were yummy. Breakfast for dinner? Why not?

Laurie- I giggled when you your ds asked who you were talking to LOL! Oh and saw your floors on FB they are so beautiful!
Michelle- Love your new pic your hair looks gorgeous!
Marcia- You will see we all do a lot of breakfast for dinner around here. Sometimes I do my dessert in the morning and breakfast for dinner . Oh wow 4 wisdom teeth, that must of been painful,.You must have some young ones like laurie.

Thanks, Debbie! Today is the first day I've felt like I had a really "good" hair day! My feet are 100% better. I was at the hospital today - my mom's doc is at the same one where JoyceK works so I saw her afterwards (she looked good) and showed her my feet...lol. Yeah, they're almost all healed.
Speaking of my mom, we're definitely moving her so she had a physical today. BP 112/60, pulse 64, oxygen 95%...if she only had her brain (reminds me of the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz). She's so physically fit it's ridiculous! The doc wanted to see her walk, so she literally jogged around the exam room!!!
Marcia - ouch on the wisdom teeth removal! I remember when my girls had that done. Neither of them do pain very well

LOL@Michelle and Joyce.Your not weird just funny ha!
Glad to see you check in Joyce I know everyone misses you I know i sure do. Hope your surprize dinner is good.
Michelle- Wow! That's amazing how fit your mom is. Sad though to see your parent fade away with memory problems especially when they seem so healthy in every other way. ;-((

It must be a tooth phase.
Sharon had a tooth pulled today...and a root canal started... dinner tonight will be something soft that doesn't require a straw... She's taking Vicodin. So while beer is soft and doesn't need a straw....it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Yeah, Eric, um, hold the beer for awhile. Um, at least for Sharon!. You may need it! LOL. Michelle, glad your feet are better. And glad your mom still has a sense of humor. Marcia, ouch, I hope the girls go easy on you and aren't too demanding. BTW, the autocorrect is seriously misogynistic! Keeps wanting to spell Marcia as Marcus! LOL

Deb and Joyce, didn't mean to ignore you, but lost a really long post before and wanted to get it published before I lost it too! LOL to everyone, much love.

Felt weird not having to take my Arimidex this morning, kept thinking I was forgetting something.LOL
I felt like ordering an Itailian sub with everything but hots for suppa from Brickhouse PIzza in town. I got meat hots and nothing else. Double dumb ass order taker

LOL, Deb! Congrats on being done with Arimidex!!!
We had dinner at a local Italian restaurant - I had chicken with mushrooms and artichokes. It was good and reminded me of a dish at one of our favorite little cafes in Independence, MO.Now we are watching the opening ceremonies, too!0 -

Marcia, just another reason you belong on this thread.....we've all done the breakfast for dinner thing, whether pancakes or omelets! Wait until you hear about the popcorn dinners!! In between, many of us fix some wonderful meals. Welcome!
Laurie, hope the back heals fast! Oy! I remember suffering a parental occupational hazard of my then 3 year old who used to run into me for (his) fun. At my physical that year my doc became very concerned that I either had a blood disorder or an abusive husband because I had black and blue marks up and down my legs. I quickly found other ways for DS2 to fill his high sensory impact needs.
Glad to hear that Hauntie is doing well, Michelle.....and Carrie, that your sister has a good plan to start her treatment.
Here in NJ getting the largest kick out of 19 month old DGS. He's a stitch and has us exhausted....all four adults!0 -
Lacey- He knows better than to hang on me. I have had a rule since the BMX, I am not a jungle gym- I am a girl- BUT DH let's him hang and climb on him. So this morning I think he forgot for a second and he grabbed the door knob to his bedroom door and my arm and swung for it. I went down like a rock and he felt so bad that I felt bad for him:) My back is actually doing a lot better thanks to the chiro and some heat and bio freeze. I am so glad I went right to the chiropractor. Have a blast with your DGS!!!

DH saw an Orthopedic Surgeon and needs both knees replaced, has arthritis in left hip, so that may have to be done sometime. Doctor is going to give him cortozone shots so we can make it through the UK visit.
He has been having problems with his knees for years, now he is in so much pain when he walks he finally gave in and asked me to make an appointment.

Morning ladies! Watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics last evening...as much as I could stand. It certainly didn't live up to our expectations and we lost interest and switched to 20/20.
Michelle: So glad your blisters are healed. Did they determine it was the medication you were taking that caused them? What will happen now?
Eric: Glad Sharon's root canal is behind her...the first part is the worst...killing the root. I hated every one that I had. I would rather just have my tooth pulled:(
Laurie: The CP visit was a good thing...they are worth their weight in gold when something like that happens!
Good you ladies are getting together again for a luncheon...wish I could join you.

Pickety Place sounds good!
I watched the opening ceremonies. Loved the part with the Queen.
Our steaks were really good. We had one from our stash, and one from TJ's and couldn't tell a difference.
Nothing wrong with a BLT, especially if you've got a good tomato! We've had a couple lately with GF bread and a scoop of guacamole.
