Does La Crosse still have that giant six-pack of beer on the outskirts of town?
Great place to celebrate Octoberfest but IDK anything about the schools there.

hey fuzzy, here's our snow!

I'll trade our cold rain for snow! I HATE cold rain...my least favorite weather...but, I'm tucked in nice and snug by the fire today waiting for the Packer's to start.

Back from the funeral in Saturday. Sad, but she was 90. My daughter, whose 30th bday was that Saturday, is graduating from nursing school this weekend. And, she and Neil got engaged the day after the funeral at the Green Bay game at Lambeau! so a happy time after the sad. So much like life! LOL.

hi all, I started my day on an auspicious note: saw a shooting star early this morning! It's the Geminids meteor showers if anyone's into that kind of thing.
Was worried about not hearing from fuzzy for several days and checked the Romp Room. She's back in the hospital with an infection so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Fuzz, when you feel up to it, please let us know how you're doing. Love ya!
Monica, yes the bitter comes with the sweet. Congrats on your DD's engagement, that's exciting news!
zogo, go Pack go! I wore green & gold on Weds for Aaron Rodgers Day 12/12/12.

Dear friends of Fuzzy, I didn't think you'd mind if I posted this here, I'm not a regular poster here. I do know you all care for Fuzzy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear friends on the Catholic thread TheFuzzyLemon is in trouble. The following post below I put on "Fuzzy's Romp Room" (FRR) this morning. The next post that I will bring here is the novena to the Archangels. I have modified it to state "Fuzzy's" name and "us" or"all of us". So, we are praying for each other as well as Fuzzy. We did this same novena and format for Jennifer on Nov 12th 2010.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Morning Dear Friends, We all are felling pretty helpless over Fuzzy. We know she had an infection, but not if it was her flap. flu, or the nasty bacterial infection of the respiratory tree(like Granny is still recovering from). What we do know is she's in serious trouble. I turn to prayer in times like these. Particularly, novenas. Many of you have been involved on the Catholic thread when we have done novenas. Being non-Catholic doesn't matter ...prayer is prayer. There is an acceptable alternative to the standard 9 day novena. It's an "emergency" novena done once and hour for 9 hours. We all have are travails, but my instincts say come together now and do this for Fuzzy.
I'm suggesting the Archangels for this novena b/c each Archangel has a special job. My next posting will be the novena. So, if you are willing , I suggest start as soon as you read it. Most everyone posting here has been checking in frequently. I'm going to post it on the Catholic thread too. Plus this post.
Love you all, L&H&P's sheila/sassy
NovenaSt. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael, be with us today as we pray on behalf of Fuzzy and all here. Protect Fuzzy and us all from whatever could cause spiritual or physical harm. Help us be faithful to Jesus and a good communicator of his divine love on behalf of Fuzzy and us all. Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael St. Michael the Archangel, defend Fuzzy and us in the battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Prayer to St. Raphael Blessed Saint Raphael, Archangel, We beseech thee to help Fuzzy and us in all our needs and trials of this life, as thou, through the power of God, didst restore sight and give guidance to young Tobit. We humbly seek thine aid and intercession, that Fuzzy's and our souls may be healed, our bodies protected from all ills, and that through divine grace we may be made fit to dwell in the eternal Glory of God in heaven. Amen.
Prayer to St. Gabriel O Blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do thou intercede for Fuzzy and us at the throne of divine Mercy in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers and patronage in heaven that Fuzzy and us all may obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living. Amen.
( say prayer once and hour for 9 hours) Blessings, sheila/sassy

good news: fuzzy is home! But she had a tough time in the hospital so if you're praying, keep it up. She's recovering slowly and not completely out of the woods yet. Everyone, please send love and good thoughts her way! ((hugs)) to all

Have a great trip, Badger.
Fuzzy, if you need a great breast surgeon, I have one at Freodtert. He did my Diep flap. Let me know if you need a name.
Here's hoping we get a white Christmas!
Happy Holidays Everyone

Zogo...that's super Sweet...I'll take the name but I am Really hoping I don't need it! LOL
Did I update here? If I did im sorry for the repeat...but my implant stayed, at least for now. Nothing grew in my cultures but I'll be on the antibiotics for an extended 5 days (the 23rd). Hopefully it will stay...I'd like to start the new year with no excuse to sit on my booty.
Im watching a national geographic special on the Mayans Calendar....I heard we have already passed the date we were suppose to expire because it was "off" for some reason. But, me and my DD's decided we'll stay home that day anyway since there's always some crazy-nut out doing bad things...LOL
BTW....Froedert is directly across from where my oldest lives! My Aunt will be going there for her ALS diagnosis.
Hey...I miss you guys. Just wanted to tell you that.0 -
You guys down south be careful on Thursday. A blizzard warning is never good! Stay home and warm if you can!

Im kinda excited about it...my oldest DD and I plan on making cookies and watching cheesy Christmas movies!!
For anyone who has to be on the roads...be safe...0 -
Fuzzy, glad you feel up to making cookies. That's progress! Everyone stay safe, don't drive if you don't have too. Much love.

I am watching the snow fly, I think we already have about 6-7 in. and should continue snowing all day. I only have a few blocks to drive to work, so not too bad.
Good news is that by tomorrow roads should be clear and I will be making 30 mile drive for my revision surgery, lets home they get it fixed and I am done with this surgery routine. This will be my 5th surgery since last Dec. starting with lump. twice, uniMX and then implant exchange and now revision.
Bad news is that yesterday we got results from my 95 yr old mom's biopsy and it is an estrogen positive receptor type of cancer. She was surprised, I think she was certainly thinking it must be something else. It is not just in the breast tissue but seems to be somewhat in the muscle, so plan of action is to have her take a medication such as Aromasin to help shrink the tumor. She has her mind and has otherwise been pretty healthy except for CHF and breaking her hip 2 years ago, which took her some time to come back.
Hope all of you enjoy the White Christmas! Be safe if you have to be out, but like my dad would always say (he was a snowplow driver for the county & state roads) if they tell you not to be out stay home, don't go out with your kids, and dress for the weather. Enough of the words of advice. Enjoy your holidays!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and enjoyed visiting family and friends. Here is Mr. Catapillar, circa 1989 to visit you.

LOVE IT MOON!! Thanks for letting the little Guy visit us; )

LOL. The kids had great fun putting him together in 1989. We put the date on the bottom, or I wouldn't have remembered when we did this. I can't believe it was twenty three years ago. Time flies. Now I keep hoping for grandchildren. My older sister has five, the oldest is 16! But hoping for a good 2013. LOL
Fuzz, hope you are recovering? You had a rough time. I'll have to call you and get the scoop on the hospital. You didn't have a good experience there it looks like! LOL Much love.0
