My breasts used to be a very big part of my big O. Not at all now :( since I have no real boobs at all.  LOL it took me almost 6 months of trying often to enjoy one. But, I did continue trying! LOL.  Good luck

Moonflwr...thank you for being so open to share that with me. My intimate life has been very sparse since I got on so many different anti depressants and my hormones getting messed up after tamoxifen and starting thyroid meds....i just hate to lose any more of my sex life than i already have....thats why i asked how others deal with the change after a MX.

As we know I like to share! LOL.  Especially if it could help someone. Doctors tend not to worry about this stuff. But it is important. All I can say is practice practice practice! Whether you fly solo or double, just keep flying til you get there.

    Much love

Got my biopsy results. I have no cancer, but have a papilloma....anyone familiar with these and what treatment is typical? Does it increase my chance for a cancer recurrence or new cancer?

hi all and welcome formerteacher.  Good to see the other WI ladies.  Had a great vacation and wasn't too swamped @ work upon return.

Blue, glad to hear of B9 results.  I opted for BMX no recon and still have an active sex life so it is possible.

I have tickets to Il Volo with the WI Philharmonic next Sat in Milw.  Mary will you be playing that night?

It's a beautiful day here, hope you all have a great weekend! ♥

No young Italian tenors for me (I had agreed to play for a wedding in the Dells that afternoon so would have missed the rehearsal making this event one of the only orchestra jobs I was forced to decline in years!)

Attended two conferences this month - on the way back from the Green Bay Survivorship Forum, having stayed overnight up there, we stopped in Moonflower's Port Washington and had lunch at the cafe attached to the Duluth Trading Company. What a cute town. My hubby remembers going to the original Smith family fish restaurant at that location decades ago.

This past Saturday was a combination ABCD educational seminar and WI BC coalition symposium at the Women's Club in Milwaukee: another great venue for meetings with high ceilings, etc. Speakers from NCI and the Medical College discussed tumor dormancy research as an approach to fighting metastatic disease.

Finally got some rain overnight so now it's time to go out & pull weeds...

Oh Mary wish you had called. I'd have met you for a cup of coffee! But I know sometimes schedules are tight so your forgiven this time! LOL.  Sometime you'll have to come here and we'll have an oatmeal sundae! LOL.  Right Badger?

Getting my knee done tomorriw. Just now I'm starting to freak a bit. Deep breaths. Getting a Reiki tx today. Should help!.

    Much love

Hey Monica, glad you made it through OK.  We've been without internet due to circumstances beyond our control so this is my first time back in several days.

Mary, sorry I'll miss you in performance.  This'll be a fabulous concert.  My first time at the Milwaukee Theater.  And, yes, you must try the oatmeal sundae in port Washington!

Hope everyone is staying safe through this bout of stormy weather! ♥ to all

The concert was AWESOME! Although the average
age of the audience was at least 50, there were a surprising number of
children. A lady sitting up front had her (four-YO?) daughter on her lap and
Piero brought the little girl up on-stage and sang to her, very sweet. A slew
of young women rushed the stage at the end of the last encore to reach up and
get their hands touched (ooooh!). A lucky few even got selfies with one of the
guys. Very fun night and so glad we did this. ♥

IMO the JS reviewer was too rough on the orchestra & the sound.

Can you believe this cold rainy weather in July? We were in Nashville last week - hot & humid. What a contrast.

Monica/Moonflower must be kicking up her heels by now. If a road trip is in the forecast, our chamber orchestra is playing next Tuesday, the 8th at Nicolet High School, 7:30pm. No tickets on sale but donations accepted to cover the cost of room rental!

The next gig I have after that is Germanfest on 7/27...

Monica, let's cancel and reschedule when you're up to it.  But if anyone's headed to Port Washington, let us know.  I'd drive up there for an oatmeal sundae! ♥

I made the decision to cancel the Campout for this coming weekend. I only had one for sure and I am not really feeling ready for a 3 hour ride yet. So i am postponing it for now. I'll let everyone know when I can do this!

    Much love to all.

I'd still consider a trip up to the Moonflower "camp" when a new date is announced.

Looks like we're getting more typical July weather - was getting spoiled by the moderate temps last week! Even the mosquitoes seemed to take a break. Maybe now my tomatoes on the deck can start to ripen, had 2 with blossom end rot...

Strauss waltzes & polkas are on the play list for Sunday afternoon at GermanFest. Will be on the BMO Harris stage at 1pm. South gate is supposed to have free admission between 11:30 and noon.

getting ready for Country Thunder down here in Twin - just blows my mind the amount of people that come out & camp in the fields - most people that live here hate it but i find it exciting! wish we could hear it better!!

Miranda Lambert & Jason Aldeen on deck this year

Wisconsin Philharmonic practice this evening for the GermanFest gig on Sunday. I'll be the last chair in the first violin section. There is an upcharge for the early afternoon show on the 27th of about $5 - not sure how they handle this if you take advantage of free admission to the grounds. Maybe we'll get an explanation at rehearsal.

Miranda Lambert had a big exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame when we were in Nashville last month: did not see it but there were posters all over town.

Amazing the number of "vintage" groups still around like Three Dog Night and (at our local county fair) The Spinners...

Wow, that's awesome. My daughter has played violin since first grade. She is in college now and has put it on hold, but I sooo miss her playing around the house. My son has played at Summerfest in a classic rock band several times. Such great summer events. If we weren't going to be out of town, I'd come see you. What pieces are you playing?

I went to school in Nashville, they call it "music city" but I think Wisconsin has plenty to rival that!

Has anyone heard of a band called "Here Come the Mummies"? Based out of Nashville, playing the WI state fair. I've never seen them but, I'm very impressed an intrigued.

Moonflwr, how did the knee replacement go? I had my left done about 7 years ago - my lower back is still wacked out from all the limping i did before finally getting it done.

let me know if the camping thing gets revisited - where do you go? I am in Twin Lakes - almost to the IL border. This weather is so goofy it is hard to count on good weather - but I hope we have warm weather through September :)
