OK I just lost my post I hate hate hate when that happens

So I just wanted to say that I had to go and read all I was behind lol

Bb I honestly tease myself with this bread making thing. I know I should not eat bread but I can't help it I need it for breakfast. I have never been able to have cereal or yogurt for breakfast. Well I take that back I had the yogurt and granola and fruit for breakfast at a resort for a week once like 10 years ago lol then never again. Did enjoyed though but never had the inspiration to prepare that myself. So I read a book I told u before about the metabolism and how carbs intakes during the day are processed and after I try that I never went back to my old ways. Basically I didn't eliminate carbs completely but after 2 pm I watch and eat mostly fruit or salad with no processed dressings or nothing at all if I don't have fruits or Salad then I have a tea and go to bed hungry wich is not good but I am used to it now . The problem for me now is that I got to 140lb and never lower no matter what I do. :(

I hate I never achieve the toning I use to have . I think I need to join a gym so to kick my as's but now the buget is low.SickTired

Anyway more teasing my bread this morning

I try the egg and water bath on top and they look way better .

This should last me the week . 1 a day

    image

My bands are already growing sort of getting in my nerves lol so don't do it lol

I am puching them to one side now.

    image

Also my friend who has c in France emailed me and said she never received my gift :( I am so piss I sent her one at the same time I sent one to mami. Hers never arrived I fear the post office may have misplaced my package? Cuz of buget I sent it normal so I hAve no way to truck it .Bawling

I need to study all day today .I ll post later

Oh Bb . When my bands grow I want to get this hair cut. Watch this video of this lady I love her hair.

Good morning ladies- we have storms moving through again. I went out this morning right during a light rain, then it sleeted, snowed, thundered and now sunny? Crazy weather. I expect we will see more precip today before this is over.

BB- big pharma is very good about self propagating itself. The AIs have resulted in at least three more drugs for me to mitigate changes to blood work and the bone health. And yes, I do the injection myself, the new one has the needle in the tube and much easier. Takes a bit of getting used to.

I check my blood sugar a couple times a week so I string out both the sharps and the strips so I don't have to buy them so often. You are right, that can get expensive quickly. And we already tried increasing the metformin. Keeping things steady but not dropping the A1C. So we are trying other things.

No good options for me if they overturn ACA without a replacement. I will certainly face a premature death as will many others in this country. I explored my options well before he won, knowing this would likely be coming. Of all the bad things I have gone through in this life or ever worried about, loosing insurance I can certainly pay for and that was mandated by my government never crossed my mind. The state program I was in here is now gone with ACA, so the safety nets are also gone. Many people in my state are self employed and need plans through ACA.

Does ACA need to be improved upon, most certainly. But taking away insurance from 20 million people without a viable replacement is pre-meditated murder. This is the new America folks, and loosing ACA is just the tip of the iceberg. Okay, will get off my soap box now.....

E- the bread looks yum! Sorry to hear the gift did not make it to the other person. Bummer.

Your hair looks cute. I see a message from you I will look at and see if I can post to help you.

the eye liner last a good 10 years then it fades to a light blue line but no notice so it does no bother you at all honestly I love to have a uper tatoo cuz I am terrible with makeup I could scrash my eyes and make a mess when I was 16 lol as soon as I was 24 I got it done and I never regret it. But I find the stuff they do back home is by far better . Don't get me wrong this is nice and natural but it was too painful and no the end result I wanted . Back home they inyect something so your skin does no feel and they go at it very slow so it takes a good 2 hours each eye but end results are amazing .here they freeze as they go with a cream which does not really make ur eye sleep so u still feel pain and it sucks and they do both eyes in 2 hours so I think it's the téchnic I look a YouTube video's and they say eye liners must be done streamely slow motion and let's say I just had a bad luck cuz the girl is so adorable but she is new at it. She emailed me and confeséd she had more clients who were unhappy cuz the liner did not stay and that she could like to retouch it for free. But I said no. I will settle for these ones cuz I can't handle the pain again lol I better wait if I ever go home to Venezuela I ll get them retouch there lol

So now I am liking these thin ones lol is better than nothing lol

BB- I joined your ACA thread today. I remember you talking about it awhile ago and think it is a good place for me to hop on and listen and share. About all I know is that he signed some kind of executive order yesterday around this.

I am about to pay for my February insurance installment and know I will have insurance through the end of next month.

wow . The situation with politics is that you will see friends even families broken over this subject I saw this in my country my family was divided in two groups and if we where together we try never to talk about the president or the party was over fast lol

I too now try not to voice my opinion I just hope for the best outcome for all of the Americans .

Bb I found something in YouTube which I try and it does works

Salt and lime juice you mix make a paste then bush your teeth for 2 minutes and rinse . It is amazing it works u can not do this every week but every 2 weeks or 1 a month depending on how sencitive your teeth are but it will whiten your teeth and no $ since this ingredients u should have at home . Just try it Google it

Is natural chemical instead of the other once at the dentist

bb I forgot to thank you for helping that lady in the past .that is the best charity you could ever do a smile is such an important part of life . It was very nice of you and your husband to help that woman get an implant . I too I am missing a small mollar right in the lower.middle an as s hole dentist took it out when I was a teen and back then my mom new no better so they just let dentist do what ever they say it was to be done . Or maybe mom had no $ to pay for the filler anyway I once look into getting an implant and funny thing I was going for it in 2012 I had already gotten the molds done by my dentist I was going to put it on my visa it was $3500 and I thought I could then pay it off by instalment to visa. Well then I had mom at the hospital for 2 months with a strock and then i found out about my bc. So I called my dentist and pospond the hole thing and now no way I can afford to do it.

I think you will go to that heaven if there is one. You are a good person and I personally think there is nothing after this life but if there is anything it won't be worse than what we live here. Shocked

ha ha ha bb nooo u could never offend me I live you I hope I didn't offend you ether is my splanglish ha ha sometimes the way I say things come up wrong . No way I am very proud of you helping that lady. You know I used to sponsor a child in Africa from he was 8years old till he was 16 and out of the program. It was through world Vision and one time people at work started telling me maybe those things were fake bla bla bla and I decided to send an actual package with tshirt and cloth and I also ask world Vision if it was posible to have a picture of him wearing my cloth well guess what they were glad to do it and I got pictures of him with the things I sent it was so good to see it was real my little boy was wearing a tshirt that said Toronto Canada .

I felt ashame I doubt the program all cuz of people at work started questioning me about it. I did for 8 years straight till he left the program . He had an education thanks to me and tools to make some living there.

Anyway try the lime and salt I have done it and it works .I havent done it in a wile I ll tonight too. Also going down to do laundry you reminded me I also need to get my b there to the laundry room.

I ll post back later after my Landry is all up here lol

Oh I want to share this cream info with you

I once went to a dermatologist complained about my dry face my face pills off in my forehead and chicks so he said it was moslikely due to me taking hit shower's lol and yes it is true if the shower is not hot I can't take it lol

So I told him I am not a fun of creams cuz I do not like oil or stuff in my face . So he recomentioned me this one and I must tell you I love it I use mostly in winter but is oil free . No perfume it dissapears and is really good I ll post a picture now

    here are the ingredients :

Water, caprylic, triglyceride, glycerin, squalane, glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol,peg-40 stearate, cetyl alcohol, dimethicone, glycol, myristyl, stearic acid, carBomer, magnesium, aluminum silicate, diazolidinyl urea, lecitin, sodium hydroxide, c10-30 cholesterol /lanosterol ester, BHT, tetrasodium EDTA

Holy I never look at ingredients in anything I buy this cream is very good for my face skin but I see all this ingredients and think can all that be good? I don't know bb but this cream is so far the only one which helps my face I get redness and dryness a lot specially in winter. I try others before and went to garbage

So far I used this one for 7 years and I sometimes fear it may get discontinued one day. But it says is made in Canada so maybe it will stay for a long time lol

ha ha ha bb I put the wash and I am waiting to go switch to dryer.

Yes and my boy from Africa was very special he had a condition which did not allow him to grow much he was a little people boy if I find the picture I will post it for you to see him. Life is been so crazy I forgot all about him. If you didn't mention what you did I was not thinking of him. I enjoyed when I received his grades they could send me his marks and he could write letters too. After him I sponsored a girl but only for 2 years I then got my mom here and my butget started to suffer. To sponsor a child was $30 a month so it was a $1 a day and I thought I could spend that in a coffee a day so I did. Also got a good tax slip from them too.

Anyway that cream is great if u don't find I will send to you.

I hope my French friend receives the parcel I am crossing my fingers that is just misplace withing customs

oh lili I am so sorry about this new issues.

I did had rad and I do worry about all the 's h t that may come from it. In my case my margins were no clear nor my lynph so I was force to get the rad on top of the chemo . I was a bad girl during my trip to Mexico I had a few cigarrets with my brother and I felt so sick all I could think was the rad must have fked my lungs lol so I didn't pick up the smoking at all it was just the missing the bad as 's I was when ever together with my brother lol

Now is this se temporary? Do you have a time line as per this to be under cotrol? Are they going to follow up? Sorry we ask so much .never mind just try to rest lots and stay away from smoking .I can't remember if you do smoke.

It really sucks the way we have to be prepared to deal with all kind of SE

    Morning ladies.

Enerva I love your eyes and the way you talk/type!

BB, that is so awesome that you helped that lady. It really impacts our confidence level when our teeth are in bad shape :( I need to get to the dentist. The effects of chemo and rad's is becoming more evident *sigh* Just as much a money issue as it is time. Bleh. I can bet that had a huge impact on her life. Sorry you lost touch.

I have been keeping up via email, but it has just been an insane first week of the college semester. Lots of issues while we are migrating some services. Changes in Networking hardly ever go smoothly lol and so many changes in structure so often in a college. Frustrating.

I had a post typed up but my bird, a conure, Tony, deleted it Argh.

    Enjoy your day everyone!

Hi ladies- been in a cleaning and purging mode this weekend. I started doing a deep clean of the fridge, pantry, etc. a couple weeks ago and started hitting the cabinets this weekend. I have far too many dishes, serving items, many things that came from my mothers kitchen, plus my own. I have been letting things go through time and purged a lot a few years ago when I redid the floors and had the house repainted. But now I am going through things differently, because I am starting to let go of some of my mothers things. She died the year I got diagnosed and although I already had her things prior to that because we had to clear out and sell her house, I just have not been ready to do it. Until now......

I went through my kitchen cabinets with a different eye this time, and have things reorganized and some things I don't want or need or use now put aside for the home consignment store (the nicer stuff) and then some things for the Habitat Restore too. I was impressed how much more is going from the kitchen. My mother was a big entertainer, from hosting family dinners during the holidays to parties with her friends. I won't say I am that girl, although I enjoy smaller get togethers here at the house for dinner parties or parties on my patio. I find it to be too much work for one person to host a larger group.

Also went through the garage today to do some work there too while my other car is in the shop getting the hail damage fixed from November (finally). Got some things out there now in areas to take to consignment and donations this week, some paper shredding to take to Staples too. On a mission......

BB- I like that you could talk through some ideas with your mom about the check she gave you. I like the approach of taking care of necessities as well as something for yourself is perfect. A gentle yoga class and a water class could really help you. Putting money towards your wellness. And I think you could tell your sister about the accident with the check (who has not had a pet destroy something?) Just depends on how comfortable you are approaching her about it. Your family sounds like they are very kind to you.

I thank you for your compliments. I do get pretty worn out with my project work towards the end, usually because of extra hours that go with the end of contract deadlines. November and December did get away from me and resulted in some things getting out of balance. I actually felt pretty burnt out coming out of this contract, but not as bad as others in the past. I had better balance with this last gig because I have learned to create better boundaries. Clients can be as needy as full time employers, but the benefit is to state up front what you are willing to do and where the other things (like OT) need to be agreed to by both parties. It was three weeks on Friday that I left my last gig and feel like I am coming back to center once again.

Simplicity- good to hear from you sister and sorry work is a bear and you are tired. Still lots of healing going on for you, so rest as much as you can. You feel fatigued for so long, it is just so frustrating. How are your wounds doing? Did I read it right that your bird deleted your message? What kind of bird is it?

Lily- I am sorry to hear about the lung problems from the rads treatment. I know it happens, they would not do external beam on me for that reason, had a different kind. I have asthma and lots of breathing issues, especially the past year. I am sorry this is happening friend but always good to hear from you.

Our country is pretty divided over the new president. Some like him, and some don't. I will be ready for anything.

E- I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed all the fun ideas with hair and make up. You made me look at a new hairstyle I am thinking of doing in a few weeks with bangs. I love going to NYC and having my make up done at one of the stores on 5th Avenue. I did not do it last time as my sister would have no patience for it, but always do when I meet my good friend there. They have a way of making you look like a million dollars!

June- are you out there and doing okay?

I have a lot of medical apts this week and other things to do so I may not be here until next weekend but wishing you all a good week. January is going very fast......

    hellon all,

    just checking in....been doing okay.

had an episode at work at the end of last year, and things have been taking a turn for the better (i assume). my work r/s w my manager has since been worse but with the principal and director backing me up and sending mentors to help me, so i guess i am doing okay. but fighting an upward battle on a daily basis is exhausting. the manager never gave me proper directions, overloaded me and blamed me for the drawing status. he also undermines my authority in front of my team. if he keeps doing this undermining thing, i'll have to talk to someone upstairs again.

    sorry for the rant.

lily - i am so sorry about your health. hope you are doing better now.

BB - i'd ask for a check and send her the image of the non-usable check...

Jazzy - good luck with the appts the coming week. i hate those checkups...i don't really think about them until sitting in the waiting room.

did you guys watch the movie "the girl on the train"...i liked it. it's pretty good.

BB- cleaning out and selling my mothers home was one of the hardest things I have done in my life. Also because I was living out here so a lot of time off from a full time job at the time to deal with that. We had to decide things quickly and take what we wanted and donated, gave away, a lot of the rest went in a huge dumpster.

If your mom has lived in her house for awhile (my parents had built and lived together or her alone for 55 years), it will be work. I hope you don't have to deal with this for a long time yet.

Omg. War zone between the kids at home today. SO I am working remotely. Ugh. I swear.

Lily, hope things get better :(

BB, he is a pesky ass bird. Very demanding of my attention. Gets along with all the other animals, kinda lol.

Jazzy, the fatigue is getting much better but I still get drained so easy. All but one stitch has worked itself out!! Other than that, nada! He is a conure that I spurge bought with my bonus in October. I wish I had had someone with me to remind me of all that goes with a bird lol

Enerva, I do! He called for me every time I went into that store, would dance for me. I lost 2 this past year, pets. And I guess I was missing having one more. I have 2 cockatiels, and him. He is in his own cage. Kind of a bully, but hand trained and just loves on me when I let him lol But he likes to nibble at my laptop if he's sitting with me and hit a button yesterday and *poof* bye bye post lmao

June, I haven't watched it yet. Was wondering if it was good. Hate to hear of the work issues. Wish at least the basic could go smooth for us in the midst, ya know?

I think they're great pets, but they do like and demand a lot of human interaction. And they're dusty creatures! I had a hand trained cockatiel years ago named Lovey (cause she was so lovey), and I was kind of missing that I guess. My other two are not hand trained. He is a handful. If I am home, he thinks he is supposed to be out haha He is yelling at me right now.
