This just popped up on active topics so I thought I'd post. I hit my five years since diagnosis on August 29th. With my lousy pathology (five kinds of cancer spread across seven tumors in both breasts) I wasn't sure I'd make it this far.

Yet here I am. Kinda battered, forever changed, but still here. Hopefully for a very long time.

I am 5 1/2 years out. Just finished my AI last month! My mom was 32 years out and died at 90 of alzheimers. Have a first cousin 30 years out. Hope I end up like them🤞

5 years for me. I find out the results of my Breast Cancer Index next week to find out if I need to continue my AI. I also alternate getting a mammo and MRI every 6 months.

6 years Christmas Eve...from recurrence. Will be 10 yrs from start in a few weeks. I cannot fathom the complaints about covid precautions. Some people have no clue how hard we fought to be here so be extra careful and chin up. Keep up the fight on both fronts ladies! You can do it!

have any of you experienced wbc drop while taking letrozole? In previous blood tests was borderline by last one was 3.9 even lower than the borderline My last chimie was 2.5 years ago. Recently I was diagnosed with osteoporosis due to letrozole so I do not know if it is another side effect or something else. I am worried and my appointment with mo is in 8 days. I appreciate your experience on this.

My five year cancerversary was 8/29/21. Didn't think I'd make it this long. Couple of my surgeons didn't think I would either. Glad to prove them wrong.
