Zills, patiently waiting to hear about your speech, what you said, what you wore, everything.

Hello everyone! Sorry I am absent a lot, just been so damn busy. I have the sorest feet, can't all be RA, guess what the Podiatrist had the audacity to say? It's my age! I am losing the fat, from the soles of my feet!!!!! I told him "Fuck that, what about the belly!"
Yes, Zills, how did it go? What did you say? Temperature resolved yet?
Dawny, we share the same birthday!

PRB, you crack me up! I am floating around today, in sweats and a Tshirt! I have herbs and salad veg to plant, but there is a storm coming in, so Dex and I are on the couch. I feel a nap coming on!
Finally got the last 2 chairs back from upholsterer, so that's all done.
Meant to say we have a huge Bee Hive in the wall of the shed next door. It has apparently been there for years. It has been removed a couple of times, but they keep going back there. The world bee population is supposed to be in crisis, so even though I have been stung a couple of times, they are a good thing to have around. M x

Glennie, I am in the bag for you! I am sorry you are feeling anxious, I don't know what to to tell you, I was scared witless, for my recent one too. I am keeping everything crossed that it is nothing at all.
Bobo you're having another of those shitful ones? You know I am there! Everything crossed for you as well!
MD needs a big slap, but of course the only way to deal with women like her, is to just go along with the charade. Oh, I am so sorry you've had such major work done, may I peel you a grape? Turn off the phone and go to sleep as the others have suggested! M x

PRB, that was a creepy story too! Did it turn out to be the Postman? or did he get away?
Spookiesmom, Wren, SGC, great to see you all too.
The fog has rolled in, it is rally quite creepy because it is so thick, I can barely see the front fence and the dampness is in the air. I am not moving from here, on the couch. The rest of the work for today can wait. M x

Birthdays?? Did I miss the list???

Sea fog is THE worst!! We get it here, can't see for squat, drive 1/2 mile inland and nothing!! The damp makes me ache too. Looks like rain for us today, going back to bed, take a dog or 2.

he he, I am just going to bed, as you gals are getting up, or you are going back to bed spookiesmom!
M, a shared bday! We will have to celebrate together! Let me know when you will be in Melbourne. I am in Ocean Grove at least once a week, if there is anything I can get, or help you with.
Glennie, in the bag.
Bees? Why is there not so many around?
0 -
I thought I was keeping up but alas not with you all or the house.
Wore a cream hi low hem dress with pink and blue flowers. Boy in school clothes and baby in pink handkerchief hemmed dress with embroidered flowers. DH black tshirt. Told not to wear plaids or checks. That's all my men have to wear.
Told that yesterday and in no position to go shopping. BG is better. Peed on the potty before bed and then played until 10 in her room.
I digress. Instructions also included only one speak. Very brief. So had boy practice saying "my mommy has metastasized breast (breath) cancer".
Nope. Didn't want him saying that. Bitch! So he said my mommy has breast cancer and I was told to say and I'm still fighting. Look around and say we're still fighting. Whatever.
Off to find some peace and sanity. Going to big dog show about 20 min away and lunch with friends. Screw housework.

pm me your email and I'll send the bday list. List contains our addresses too. If you prefer it not be distributed, just let me know.

Love all breed, all activity dog shows! Especially agility and obedience. And the vendors!!!! Oh, that's where I get in serious trouble. The last one I went to, spent $23 on a brush for Spookie. I have a junky freebe from 20 years ago. And she won't let me use it except on her tail. Maybe. Brat!

Dawny - I don't think they know why the bees are declining. Unfortunately, after getting a picture of my 'bees' (harder than you'd think.. they are zippy quick).. they appear to be wasps. Probably yellow jackets or paper wasps. UGH. I watched enough videos and looked at enough pictures of both that I'm lucky I didn't have nightmares last night. There are many stories online about them eating through walls and getting into houses!
Zills - I didn't realize you had to follow a script. That makes for added stress for sure. Where/when will it be shown? Will we get to see our movie star?
M - No, they never caught the guy, but they were pretty sure it was the mailman.
Feeling down today .. all these house issues just keep adding up. Water in the basement, roots in the sewer lines and now bees under the entry door. I know others have worse things than stupid house issues to worry about, so I'm trying to get over myself and enjoy my day off. I spent all day yesterday doing my investigative bee reporting. They are interesting critters. If you want to see something unbelievable... watch this video of a huge yellowjacket's nest found in Florida. For you cat lovers.. it kind has the shape of a cat head!

Dawny, The bees have something called colony collapse disorder. They don't know what the cause is and it's killing half the bees. It's a big problem in agriculture because the plants and trees are pollinated by bees. Everyone is really worried about it.
PRB, Skipping the big yellow jacket nest video. Don't even want to think about a big nest.
Zills, Would love to see your film clip. To think we know a star!

Zills, would love to see our movie star too, glad you made it thru and have a blast at the dog show.. agree.. screw housework, it is the most unproductive thing I think, it just never quits. Rainy here today. As for bees I have never seen so many bumble bees as this year, everytime I go to garden to pick flowers to bring in there are so many bees on them. There are honey bee hives set up all around this area because they like the canola fields here. I wonder if agriculture practices are not some of reason for the decline.. farmers spray for EVERYTHING, disease, insects.. you name it.. no wonder we all get cancer. I think the insecticide would kill bees as well.

PRB When I lived up north I needed sunglasses for the snow glare.....it was so bright and white!!!
ahhhh off this morning cuz of low census but they are calling me in at 3 to do a quick 4 hours then the weekend!!! don't have much planned but maybe will go swimming for the last time as pools close this weekend. haven't swimmed yet with new foob and suit after all that shopping trying to get one. I think I just like choices and can swim if I want to.
Went to gym (2 days in a row) and going to try that for healthier life style. I suck on the machines but at least I am there. I have noticed a lot of BC women are working out to get healthier so I will too.
I know!! I will try my vitamix this weekend. will make shopping list off recipe and go for it!!!
more later

UGH, PRB,, wasps?? I hate wasps. Definitely not looking at the video. Eeeeeeeek.I wouldn't be surprised if pesticides are contributing to the decline in bees.
And Z,, add me to the list of people who want to see the vid.

Alert: MD's sx was not just to tie off hernia that was causing acid reflux. It was full-on gastric bypass! She was hiding this bit of info, but is now on drugs so is reporting in. You know... she didn't want it to look like she scheduled her gastric bypass weight-loss sx for the same week my dad is having his procedure -- now that his bladder cancer has come back two weeks after finishing chemo, or never left -- his procedure to determine how far the cancer has spread. *I am always right*

Oh, I am just spoiling to hear what Birdie, ND and M will have to say about this! **claps gleefully**

Morning all! Wren, I read somewhere that if the bees died out we would only get around 3 years, till it was all over! The world cannot survive without them! Sobering thought, isn't it?
Zills, I would like to see video too!
Good for you 02, I wish I could get it together to go to the gym! let us know how the Vitamix goes, what are you making?
I am with you Glennie, I hate wasps. I had one fly into the car once, it settled on the back of my seat and I leaned back against it. The damn thing stung me!
ndgirl, we have the spraying on the farms not far from us too. I always wonder at the lovely pristine air we have, being away from the city, and then they spray insecticides!
PRB, I know how awful the house issues can be, it gets you down. I watch a show over here with an exterminator guy over there, who uses a non toxic spray for wasps, maybe you can source that for your intruders!
Spookiesmom, I did a similar thing and bought some Hooley Dooley expensive comb thing for Dex, but he won't let me use it, just the old one, under sufferance!
Dawny, we should put our heads together for a meet up some time. Thank you for the offer of help in Ocean Grove. It is nearly 4 hours for me to get to Melbourne, so I tend to avoid it because I hate that long in the car. I should try the train, everybody raves about the train, and how easy it is. If I get it together I will let you know and maybe we can have lunch or something.
Got to run...M x

oh my gosh, Bobo!! MD is unbelievable. How is Dad? What did procedure show?0 -
Oh my giddy Aunt! Boy she's a piece of work Bobo!
Bobo's always right, Ha! Bobo's always right Ha! imagine us all in a conga line, Bobo's always right Ha!!!
I had my doubts about that fundoplication surgery for MD, remember I told you about my Gast Guy wanting me to do it? No burping response any more after surgery, but uncontrolled farting is a side effect of the surgery. I remember saying to him, "Do I look like the kind of woman who would deal well, with uncontrolled farting?" not that I know anyone who would, but geesh, how bad would that be? I'll just deal with the reflux, thanks! Throwing up in my mouth, isn't as bad as farting in front of guests now, is it?
I digress, well I hope MD enjoys her thimble full of soup, that she will be allowed 6 x a day for a very long time. You could whizz her up a few soup variations in the Vitamix and freeze them in an ice cube tray of single serves! Woo Hoo!
If she so much as utters one whinge, about feeling hungry, I am there. I have told you before, the Glasgow Kiss is a beauty, she'll never see it coming!
On a serious note, how is your Dad doing? That's awful news about him.
I am assuming you are going to see them this weekend, don't let her get to you!!!!!

Went to the Baby Shower......I hadn't seen a cake in this format before, very cute! White Chocolate and Double Mud Cake with Raspberry filling.

M: you are hysterical!! I love the bit about freezing the soup and she gets one ice cube!!0 -
anyone know for sure GrammaB went to be with her dd? I'm a little worried. It's been a month. I just have her POBox. Does anyone remember her store name?
0 -
the video should be available after the gala on 9/20.
0 -
I do not know GB's store name. Dad procedure coming up this week. Visiting them next weekend (not this one). Oooooh, what a delicious reply from our M! M, she is already prattling on about 6 x a day and eventually meals no bigger than 6 ounces. And now I hear from you we'll have uncontrolled farting as well? This just keeps getting better and better.
Are we getting a video of the gala? **very excited**
0 -
uncontrollable farting,,, yes,,, the side effect everyone wants.Bobo: keep us posted on Dad's procedure. May want to buy gas masks for being around MD. Don't we have one of those Army/Navy stores in town? They would probably have that.

Cake is so adorable. Should we send a picture to MD? I don't think cake is in her future.
You know, she could game the system. She could blend the cake up in a Vitamix. DLLP says she's prepping for my dad to die -- having weight-loss sx so she can be ready to catch a new husband. Could that be true?
Off to read M's message again!
