Oh Bobo, that sounds just divine!

I can tell you, Colin is enjoying the attention! He is much better today, thank goodness!

I have done some searching today, but can't find anything that has the super long sleeve and thumb hole in a pure cotton knit. We have some nice designers who do fine cotton, but I am not finding what you asked for. I haven't obviously, looked in the US, but I tried New Zealand too. I will keep looking, but can't promise anything!

Glennie, that is exactly what Bec had, The first Orthodontist explained that they would make little window shades of her gums and pull the teeth down that were sitting sideways with anchors on braces. When we left and got into the car, Bec turned to me and said "Oh Mum,, I was going to cry when he said what he was going to do to me!" and I said "I was going to cry when he told me how much it was going to cost!" Fortunately she hasn't had any more issues and as you say they don't do that any more, so if she has to do anything in the future, I hope they have a less brutal procedure. M x

Our princess bounced right back after being treated like a pasha. Who is more spoiled: our princess?  Or Colin?  It is a hard choice.

About the sweater:  I know!  I want one I will wear everyday.  I really have been wanting it! Today I have a long teaching day and then yoga after, but sometimes I am too tired to go to the yoga class, but sometimes I will try to force myself.  Weekend with the kids, housework, cooking, groceries, etc. is a challenge.  Not much down time.  Know what I mean, Dawny?

No Dawny I am NOT ready yet!  It's terrible!

You will have to pay me a sick call after surgery.  Downtime while you visit with me and we watch trashy TV and talk NYC and cookie bombing.   **tell DLLP must visit sick friend***

So glad that Princess bounced back.

Am I the only one who didn't know what a pasha was?  I think Bobo pulled that from one of her student's essays!!

Bobo, Is this sweater to be a pullover or cardigan? I'm thinking of adding thumbholes to a couple of winter nightshirts. It's that or get fingerless gloves to wear to bed. I hate the freezing wrist gap.

Pasha or pascha (Ottoman Turkish: پاشا, Turkish: paşa),[1] formerly bashaw, was a higher rank in the Ottoman Empire political and military system, typically granted to governors, generals and dignitaries and others. As an honorary title, Pasha, in one of its various ranks, is equivalent to the British title of Lord, and was also one of the highest titles in pre-republican Egypt. There were three ranks of pashas: the first, or highest class, had the privilege of bearing a standard of three horse-tails, the second of two, and the third of one.[2]

Going to movies.  Maggie Smith and Kevin Kline in a movie set in Paris.  My Old Lady.  Will report back.

Bobo, I just looked online for your sweater with, of course, no luck. Why do they say something is long sleeved and then show it with the sleeves pushed up? Are they trying to fool us into believing they're long sleeved? Then I started looking for myself. Why do they show something for petite's on a 6 foot model? And why so many horizontal striped sweaters? Perhaps we need to find someone who does custom knitting. Or let me know what color you want and I'll send you all my cut off sweater sleeves and you can sew them on yours. Even petite sleeves are too long on me.

Oh, man, birdie, that's a great idea!  Agree about the horizontal stripes.  I just want a simple soft sweater of any kind with really long sleeves and thumbholes.  And maybe a really supersoft cotton shirt like that.  Is that too much to ask?

Morning all! I'd love to come visit, with soup and chocolates, after your op Glennie! How was the movie? I looooove Maggie Smith!

I am giving up on the cotton sweater today, nothing available with all the features, you should design one and have it made and sell on the internet Bobo! Wren is right with all those observations, so true!

Glad to see our Princess did well at the Dentist, I told Bec about her and about Glennie having the same tooth issue as she had, she was suitably impressed and asked after all of you. She enjoys hearing the kitty stories Wren, because she has always been so allergic, we've never had a cat. I will get her to sign in and see the Pumpkin pics Zills, she will love those.

Nice day today, opp shop this morning, free afternoon. Might go to town later. Also must learn to use new camera that Colin just bought. Will post the finished house pics! M x

Maggie Smith was amazing as always, and I love Kevin Kline. Everyone in this movie had his or her own problems and lots of good dialogue. And it was set in Paris,, a city that I totally love. It was a poignant movie. We liked it.  Then we had dinner at the Thai place.

I'm getting interested in this sweater too. The thumbhole is intriguing. But since I'm short, sleeves are usually too long for me also.  I found a zip up hoodie at Old Navy.http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=250660082&tid=onpl000000&kwid=1&ap=7&sem=true&mkwid=smMIRqTE_dc&adid=Cebqhpg+Nqf&pcrid=29466129575

    But not cotton,,, phooey.

Usually the ones with thumbholes are for joggers so they're out of nylon or microfiber. The cotton makes it difficult. I think a knitter could pick up stitches at the end of the sleeve and knit the thumbhole following directions for the wrist warmers made like that.

That'ss right Wren! I am finding plenty of long sleeves with thumb holes, but they are for exercise and are made from wicking fabric, there doesn't seem too be anything, in a pure cotton.

Glennie, I will be watching for that movie! Thai mmmm yum!

How about, if you can find the tops you want, take to alterations place.  Have them put in the biggest button hole they can.  Would that work?

Boy gymnastics, me Zumba this am. Then boy to visit his Nanny and brother. BG and I to clean and go to Walmart.

Even though I'm a stay at home mommy (misnomer for sure). I still have to do most of the laundry on the weekends. Boy wears a uniform and she has to have clean blanket and sheet for daycare.

Tomorrow watch the trots at the Red Mile and eat at the clubhouse where we had our wedding reception.

Then it's another action packed week. Field trip, meet a dog, parent conference, thriller rehearsal. They've invited me back to Livestrong. And PT!

She really worked my armpit lump yesterday. Said I would be sore and probably bruise. As long as it disappears, I'm happy.

Always have a nap on my list! Happy Saturday!

Wow, Z, you are busy!  I am swamped with laundry too.  My brother's boys are over for a sleepover!  First time he's ever allowed it.  He hasn't really been speaking to us.  But we don't know why.  **drama**

Hmm.  No, Spookie, it won't work, because the sleeves will not be long enough!  I saw someone with a Nike hoodie at yoga today.  I know it won't be cotton, though, but it will be a mix.

In the bag, G!  Sx Monday at 8 a.m., right?  Will be thinking about you all while I am teaching.

Zills, how do you do it all? Ouch to the arm, but hope it works for you.

Bobo, I saw a pure cotton zip up Yoga hoodie with thumb holes by Lululemon, but it said sold out. Might be worth looking there.

Boo, Hiss! to the laundry. I have so much ironing I haven't done, I am going to feel like I have a new wardrobe, it's been so long.

Gosh, how could your brother not be speaking to you after all you did for him when he had his knee done! People have short memories don't they. I hope the kids have fun!

DP not posting again after her tests etc, just said, not good news. Does anyone text with her?

Bright sunny day today, still school vacation till next week, so lots of kids around, which is unusual here. Daylight savings next weekend! Take it easy everyone, have a great weekend, I am getting ready Glennie, to be in the bag...M x

Dog was bathed at a benefit for the local pit bull group. She's such a Princess, had a great time, although the hose scares her. But she did love all the attention.  They are supposed to put pics up on FB page, so I'll look for them and post over here if I can.

Some laundry done, more to do tomorrow,, bathrooms cleaned, floor vacuumed.  I'm fairly chill and looking forward to it being over with.

Yes, Monday 8am,,, I'll text you when I can, Bobo, and you can report back for me.

Dunedin Doggy Rescue holds Suds on Sunday's once a month here to raise funds.  We took our last Poodle a few times, he was a rescue too.  Kris' coat is so thick and wooly he can't go.  It's a neat idea to help the dogs.they would probably refuse to do Spook

I am going to wrestle Dex into the laundry sink, he's such a baby at the beginning, but then he gets into it. I don't know if I will be able to clip him, but I will give it a shot. He has a heavy winter coat on with a few dreadlocks, so it could be tricky. Be back later...M x
