    Reporting on tonight's Shake flavor:

coconut milk, protein powder, Green Vibrance powder (finally got some)  PEARS, ice cubes, flax seed and 2 spoons of pumpkin butter from Trader Joe's.  I have to say, this was pretty darn good.

Okay, I just looked at myself in mirror, and I am totally bald!  She did NOT do the 'outside of underpants' one.  Granted, I knew I was taking off underpants.  But she said it was just so they would not get dirty.  OMG.  I have 'landing strip.'

DLLP (big smiling):  That looks nice.

Fuck.  If this bald waxing thing jump-starts my sex life I am relegated to it permanently.  Next time I will be holding, that's for sure.

Oh Bobo, I am choking here, a landing strip is so "on trend!" Don't they give you paper underpants, at your waxer? I thought that was how they distinguished how you want it to look. I am going to the shower now, I have choked on my muesli with coconut yogurt and banana with Vitamix almond milk and Colin keeps asking me what's so funny.

Glennie, hat shake sounds delicious, I will be doing that one. Green Vibrance...yay, I am glad you found it, it is excellent, but some of the girlies here, think it is too "Green", I love it! M x

    Edited to ask, Pumpkin Butter?????

Pumpkin butter is like apple butter, but pumpkin.

No paper underpants!!!  I guess you can't have them if your stylist secretly plans to make you bald.  OMG!  I just had a flashback about my eyebrows!

I guess no one will be mistaking me for any kind of 'he-she' at surgery. I am ready to go right into the burlesque show.

2 cups of water in Vitamix a couple of handfuls of raw almonds and a few medjool dates for sweetness. Whiz till white milk and no lumps, voila, almond milk, or macadamia, or cashew. I use this for the Vegan Smart smoothie or on cereal, just cut up a banana, or whizz it in with the nuts.

Like Bobo said,, it's like apple butter,, but it's pumpkin! A seasonal thing, I suppose.  It's thick, but very spreadable. You could spread it on toast.  Ingredients:  pumpkin, sugar, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg.

When I was a kid, would eat peanut butter and apple butter sandwiches. I could see doing that with pumpkin butter too, except I rarely eat bread now.  **mostly Paleo diet**

I don't think Green vibrance is TOO green,,, the green-ness gets overwhelmed by the fruit flavor, I think.  I made one the other day with frozen raspberries and blueberries and couldn't taste the green at all.

Bobo:  I know I shouldn't laugh,, but the part about having to do it permanently if it jump starts your sex life, just cracked me up.  **sorry**

Oh poor Colin,,, if he only read this forum,,,, **he would die from laughter**

    Bobo,

Ok spitting coffee over your landing strip !! Maybe M could give you some tips on how to apply glitter to fill it in a bit ........... ROFL .

Hi All , Well the last time I checked in I was attempting to quit smoking.  I am still smoking but down to 5 a day from a pack . Thanks to Wren and Spookie for telling me I needed to keep my hands busy.  That tip has helped a lot .  We are moving and my son is buying our current house.  He has saved some money for renovations .  One of the changes he wants is to paint all of the oak woodwork white .  So yours truly volunteers for this job to assist in saving him money .  WTF was I thinking I cannot paint for shit!!! not to mention each piece of needs 2 coats of primer an 2 coats of paint in a 3,000 square foot house  Oh what we do for our kids!

I am so glad FOCKTOBER is nearing and end .  I don't know why is gets to me but it does. I think its all the lies, misinformation distributed, and too much money being spent on awareness. FOCK awareness we need a cure ............RANT over ..................

All this painting has just given me more time to think.....................  I went to home depot to buy paint and was standing in line to pay when this butt crack was staring at my chest ........Finally I just said .  Look all you want your won't find them .  He said I was just thinking you are so thin.  I said yeah nice try .............Its one of the great benefits I got from cancer. OMG People are stupid......

While I won't ever say BC and lymph node cancer was a gift.........  I can say this last year has changed me .  I live in the moment now as we never know............. I appreciate my DH and DS.  I was really lucky to get a surgeon who listened when I said I wanted to be flat.  I gave the only pair of foobs I ever bought to the cats and don't feel the need to ever try them again .  I realize everyone needs to do what's right for them however, I am so glad I never wanted recon  .  I could never have gone through all those surgeries and complications.

I am still sweating and swearing and I think this Tamox sucks !!!!  Oh well only 9 more years of that BS. Also still trying to simplify my life.  I have managed to sell/give away a tone of shit over the summer and I am canceling Thanksgiving and Christmas this year ..............................  I have no desire to cook anything or go to the stores and bring more crap into the house !!!!

Have a great day all ...........................  This "Painting Bitch" needs to get to work ..............................

FIA Come help me purge and paint. Afraid painting will increase Lymphadema. I'm would love to give kids an experience for Christmas instead of toys with fifty million little pieces. But they're kids so toys it is.

I'm trying to live each day to the fullest but sometimes get bogged down. Congrats on 5 a day!

Bobo. In the bag for tomorrow. Only one more torture session unless you keep up the landing strip. Brave girl.

Have to finish folding laundry. Couldn't find boy's uniform pants this am. Woke up late too.

I want to give my kids an experience, then toys from dollar store since they break everything.  That is the plan this year.  Let's see if we stick to it.  FIA will you paint my kitchen?

Bald vagina much better today.  Signing off for sx.  In the back for Z's MO appt tomorrow.  Z and Glennie are on DLLP's contact list -- they will get up to the minute info, and then they can report in.

How bad will it be?  Will I be screaming in pain this time?  Will the FDA approve the procedure, thus making me not so scared of it?  Will I get a good nurse?  (Oh god, I hope so).  Tune in?

    Love you guys. XOXOXO

Morning ladies, nice to see you Fia, I am so impressed with your 5 a day! I was a terrible smoker, won't even freak you out with how many I could go through in a day. I gave up almost 8 years ago now. Went to a guy who sat and chatted to me for a couple of hours, I have no idea what he said that turned it off, but I left his office an had the worst weekend of withdrawals, but I have never had another one and I have no cravings either. I can't believe I can actually be around smokers and not get so much as a twinge! It was the Allan Carr method that this naturopath used, but I don't know how it worked. Good Luck with the last 5! Is Focktober winding down there? It is in full swing here, but I have to say I am seeing a lot more money going to research for a cure, than I have seen before.

Ooooh, all that painting, I don't envy you that, I used to love to paint, but I can't do it any more. Doesn't it feel fantastic to give all that stuff away? The inside of the boat was my last venture and it was tough. That timber is difficult and it's all in the preparation! Take it easy, it will be fantastic in the end and your son will be so pleased. When do you move?

Bobo, I am there if you need me, I will be snoozing in your pocket, just give me a nudge and I am there. Good Luck with it, do you believe, I get more nervous about your sx, than I ever do for mine, why is that? I am so pleased the bald vagina is looking better today, kind of like a haircut that needs a few days to settle in, I guess!

Now don't be thinking the worst, tell yourself, it will be much easier, this time. Do a quick Meditation on it, I will too. I know, I know you think it's all, oogitty boogitty, woo, woo, but I believe in manifesting the positive, for stuff like this, please, just humor me!!!!

I will be hanging out to hear the update! Zills nailed it! Only one more possible torture session, or are you finding that landing strip is something you want to keep? lol

Now, what is the experience you want the kids to have? I am so on board with that idea. I had great adventures with Bec and then again with Vi, who was much older, when he came to us, but he hadn't been anywhere, for fun. It was amazing to see stuff through his eyes. Bec loved it too.

Zills, your kids had a fabulous Irish experience this year. They will remember it forever. Bec still remembers her first trip to the US when she was 5 and she has even more memories than I have, about what we did and where we went! But we did lots of close to home things, that she loves to remember too!

Off to my Opp Shops today to see my friend and look for bargains, meant to say, I found Colin a brand new, never used, Weather Station the other day! He installed one when we moved in here, but something went wrong with it. This one, that I found is an even better one and it cost $5.00 woo hoo! I am not getting up on the roof to install the bits!

    Catch you all later....M x

    O2:  Squeakers is a cat.

Fia:  Congrats on being down to 5 a day!!!  That is awesome!!  Painting will keep you busy!

Bobo:  in the bag for you tomorrow. Will report in when I hear from DLLP.  Glad bald vagina is better today. Sending you positive energy that all will be well. There will be no screaming pain. **nice healing light and fentanyl**

    HI, Zills and M!

My adventure today:  Went down to Epcot for the International Food and Wine Festival. Had lots of yummy snack size portions of food. Kalua pork slider with pineapple chutney. New Zealand lamb meatball with tomato chutney. Ireland Lobster Pie. Brazil tilapia with coconut lime sauce and cheese bread and coconut candy. France, braised short ribs. A little trio of desserts.  A croissant doughnut. And some pineapple whip.   And there was tons more to try but stomach can only hold so much. LOTS of walking,,,, pretty tired now!! Biggest adventure by far since surgery.

And I found a really nice fan for my hot flashes. Only $3 in the China area!  It has a nice picture on it and a scroll-y wooden handle.

One more day off,, and then it's back to work.  Must start planning tomorrow and getting psyched up for it.

Oh Glennie, I dream of going to Epcot someday! It's only a 13 hour drive from here.

I would love to see photo of Squeakers.

Bobo, count me in for tomorrow too!!! What time do you have your procedure?

Zills, in your pocket for MO visit. How exciting that you get to visit with your aunt.

When I was growing up all my extended family lived 6,000 miles away. So no sleepovers with cousins or anything.

    *peeking in*

I'll have you all know.. I have spent the last two evenings reading I don't even know how many F'ing pages of posts.. and you guys are in another thread as well!?!?!  How the hell do you keep up? I had enough trouble with this thread when I was active on it lol.

I still have the f'd up keyboard (from what I've read, it appears we are no longer being careful about swearing!), so I'll try to post a nice long catch up from work... if not I'll just have to suck it up and deal with typing the same paragraph over and over again!

Jumping right in the bag for Bobogirl... omg I can't believe she is having another procedure..please let it be easy for her...  she's endured way too much as it is.

    *hugs*

Just got back, my friend not there. I did the supermarket shopping, but forgot to get another copy of the newspaper. I can't remember if I mentioned the Beauty Day got a story in the paper and they printed the picture I took of all the girls with their goodie bags!

Colin went to the Epcot Center when we were in Florida. I had a bad RA flare up, so I stayed at the apartment, he had a great time.

Our friend who was putting my display stand together, just arrived and he's done a great job of it. I am so chuffed, I will have to get a picture up to show you. Please just humor me! loll It is the old rusty rake, cut off to about 2' and an old weathered piece of hardwood as a base which can hold the small noodle boxes that are the packaging I use for the Sun Catchers. Each box has tissue paper in it and a handwritten card, on handmade paper explaining what they are, with a place to  write a message, if they are a gift.

Andrea. I was like you, we came to Australia, just my Mother and Father and me. I have no siblings and apart from one cousin who came out here, was the black sheep of the family and was a lot older than me. I don't even know any of my relatives. Funnily enough, I kind of liked it that way.. I had friends with terribly dysfunctional families which made me so grateful for the fantastic parents I had and that there were no siblings to feud with.

Bec has 2 half brothers and a large family, on her natural Father's side, but apart from her Uncle Jon, she doesn't have a lot to do with them. Jon is a muso, so he travels all the time. Every time he is here doing a show. or doing interviews he catches up with Bec. They go out to shows together and she just loves him. I wanted to take Bec on the "Rock the Boat" cruise on the Rhapsody of the Seas, which left Sydney earlier this week, because he is playing on that, but she couldn't secure the time off from work. That could have been a real hoot! M x

How the fuck are you, gorgeous one? As you can see lots of stuff has happened, but we are still here, at least some of the old gang, but we have all these lovely gals who don't bother about the gutter gums and jump right in the bag for all of us when needed! It is a fantastic group, as always!

I am smiling so much my face aches! Please stick around, if you can! Hugs M x

Bobo, In the bag for you. Two people I know just had surgeries that were very serious and they're both just fine. Hope you're the third and wonder why the others were so awful. Hugs.

Idesim, Good to see you again. Wish you could just go get a new keyboard. We have bought some from Goodwill that worked fine.

Photos will be coming. I do want to get a photo of Squeakers in his harness and leash. Goldie's will be of her sleeping since that's about all she ever does.

Hi Glennie, just checking in before bed. I am so glad you like them! I put the pic on FB for Bec and said "I am officially a country woman, because my craft has been accepted at the Paynesville Craft Shop!" She shared it and all her old school friends have sent me messages, very sweet!

I hope Bobo is ok. I swear I worry more about her procedures, than I ever do about my own. She has had such a bad run. I hope she just breezes through this one.

I am in the bag for Zills too!

    Werewolves of London aaahhhhhoooooo!
