Lisa, It's not a dam, it's a log jam that is against a bridge on Highway 2 (Steven's Pass Hwy). They have people in boats and a crane on the bridge trying to break it up. We need that beaver in Bandwoman's photo to help out.

Thank you all. I was out with my camera until sunset. I had my last social worker apt today so hopefully I am back to normal now. It has been a long six months. My lung disease my primary doctor thinks was a one time event. I am hoping he is right. I now have to do PT for my back. Growing old ain't for sissies!!!

Lisa, nice moon shot. You know the classic airplane going across the moon. This evening I got an airplane going across the sunset so that was pretty exciting and probably not the thing most photographers want to capture. LOL

Was so intent on getting a picture of the Saturn V rocket of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon superimposed on the Washington Monument that I didn’t notice the plane coming into Reagan National Airport. Brought back a lot of memories.

Thanks Lisa and Cathy. I have to admit it was pretty exciting. I had seen it the day before but I didn't have my "bird" camera. I went back the next day to find it and it was still there. This time I had my bird camera in hand looking for it. What fun!!!!

Thanks Cathy. I am glad I got a chance to get so many fall photos last week. We are expecting snow the next few days and the leaves will drop quickly. I have had a death in my family so I will be leaving tomorrow and be gone for about a week. I hope you are doing better day by day.

I am very busy and pretty stressed. I have a dental appointment in the afternoon but I've had a sore jaw for months so keeping my mouth open could be difficult. I'm also planning to put Windows 7 into my computer for the first time soon so I'm trying to prepare for that.

Many great photos, which I've looked at only very quickly. We have a contract for sale on our house and we'll be very busy for several weeks, so I'll probably only have time too peek here once and a while.
