I can't remember if I posted this before, but this is my favorite little picnic spot in Spain, Segovia..when
we lived in Madrid I would take my boys here . There is a beautiful little park. My oldest son always wanted
to get married there...Ferdinand and Isabela were married here.

Hi ladies, just dropping in to see all the beautiful pics. Had to go to the doctor again today for my intestinal issues. He is stumped. More meds and more blood work tomorrow. It has been three weeks of this and I am ready to be DONE. He does not think it is my Arimidex. I just hope he is right. He said it would be a six month endeavor to do all the possible tests and he doesn't want to do that and I sure don't either. I want Harry Potter to wave his magic wand and poof. Gone!
Nancy C. The weatherman lied. LOL I hope you had fantastic weather. I sure recognize your pictures and your grandson is adorable. I hope you found some fun things to do.
Lisa I love that flower and the funny bird! I'll post more pics when I am up to it.

I took this panorama with my phone camera. My niece and I went to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and we took a helicopter to the Grand Canyon. It is grand, indeed That's the Colorado River running through it.

I love Chicago at night along the river, the way the buildings are lit up with different colours! Spent 2 weeks there once on training and fell in love.

We lived there when I was 10-13. My Dad worked downtown and we lived in Kenilworth. They were some of my most favorite growing up years. We could hop a train downtown for bike to the beach and library. I especially liked the Museum of Science and Industry. They had an old submarine there and a mine...

One day I will get out west again. It has been over 30 years. That scenery is amazing!
Ooh, missed the last page again. Jackson is adorable!!! and I LOVE your Chicago shots Nancy .
Lisa, I have never seen a pincushion plant growing before. Sadly only in bouquets from Costco.
I love the Spain photos. Had some special times around the Med. years ago. When I hear Segovia I always think of the guitarist who I was fortunate enough to see live when he was in his 90s maybe. I have a remastered recording of him playing Recuerdos de la Alhambra in the 1920s or 30s. It is one of my favorite recordings ever, beautiful

I love that recording as well...they were playing it when we were staying at the Alhambra. There is a parador on the grounds. Back in the early 70s there were only a few rooms and we were lucky enough to stay there..Back then it was so peaceful. Now there are tourists everywhere..the last time I told myself was the last time so I could remember the beauty..

Lisa those are so pretty! Where those taken in Spain? I just love your pictures.
More Chicago pictures. The first one was taken on a bridge at the Chicago River on the Mag Mile. The second one is actually the Chicago Tribune News building. It is one of the prettiest buildings. And then the bottom one is by the Navy Pier.

I love the Alhambra photos. In the 1980s I had a dear friend with a boat. We sailed from Faro in Portugal around to Southern Spain. I found out several years ago that he had passed after treatment for pancreatic cancer. I HATE cancer!!!!
What is it about lighthouses that we all love?. Your Chicago pics are great Nancy. Some amazing work has gone into those buildings.

Nancy that is so sad, to lose your dad and his siblings so young and so close together from this horrible disease. It stinks!
Your painting is lovely and open to so much interpretation. Do you paint a lot?
