Great news, Tang! I've been checking in to see your update.

Yay, Tang!
Midway wasn't bad this morning. Left the house about 9:45, breezed through curbside check-in...and lo and behold, TSA Pre again. Took longer to wait for the wheelchair than it did to get through security. (Even the regular lines were no longer than average--granted, this was around 11 am, and the chair-guy said that early morning was a fustercluck). Got to keep everything on but my leather jacket--it has metal zippers. They were really zooming everyone through before the next rush. Of course, had an insane amount of time to kill, but had I arrived my usual 90 minutes ahead, who knows what the lines would have been like? In Charlotte, as we headed to baggage claim around 5 pm (EDT), they were truly awful.

Oh GMA, I hope it works too!
Tang, nice to see you here again! Don't worry, you are not alone~ I run EVERYTHING from ALL my clinic visits through my head again and again. Because some of the conversations I have with docs is UNBELIEVABLE!!! And so, I try to glean info from them over and over until I am satisfied. That almost never happens!
Smurfette, I don't know if I saw you here before, welcome!
Guess I better go and read the news, I have been avoiding it for a while, depressing. I had no idea there was a 'thing' with TSA. Sorry how it's affecting the both of you, Octo and Chi. Chi, I am very impressed with all you co~ordinate and get done in preparation for a gig. I would be crying! Yeah, making music is a lot of hard work! I don't know if I would still make art if I had to do all that you have to do! Actually, I have been having a tough time making any since dx, I don't know why. All I know is I still think about cancer way too much, and I must try somehow to rearrange the grooves in my brain to wake up thinking about 'making' , instead of the horrorshow of BC. Ick.
I have been helping my man with work for the past couple weeks, he's building our next door neighbor a spanking new bathroom!!! I am getting stronger, but o how I ache!
Ok Katy, where ARE you!!!

Tang, great news!!! Have a good time, Sandy. Beppy, so nice to read your novel . I would love to do lunch with the wonderful ladies here. My Wyatt is getting sick. Rough day today so I called hospice and the RN that came out said he's diminished on the right side of his lungs so back on cipro we go. This is less than a week off the 30 day course of inhaled abx. His pulmonary doc was so sure we could avoid oral abx that way. Oh well, he's an amazing kid. After the morphine kicked in he was smiling and chattering.
Tomboy, physical work sounds like great therapy. How's the LE?

Funthing, I hope your sore bum feels better soon. Nice to see you posting!
Molly, I'm sending good thoughts for Wyatt. Keeping you both in my prayers. I'm not sure how you cope on top of everything else. You amaze me. ((((((Molly))))

Hubby is still has a splint. Will be getting a cast on Monday. Orthopedist ruled out the need or surgery on the wrist, which is a plus. He has been excused from work until at least Monday. Don't know what the doctor will do once the cast is on.
As for me, the class went well and I am pretty sure that I will have a passing grade. That class had me tied up in knots the whole time. Glad it is over now and I can relax.
Hugs to all this morning!!!!!

M0mmy, I'm glad to hear your DH won't need surgery. Classes can take up so much time. I'm so proud of you for finishing your class. Hugs right back to you!
Nine, Welcome to our little town.
I'm glad you found us. We are all in your pocket today. I hope your feeling is wrong and you get good news. Sending best wishes to you. Please let us know when you can. You are not alone.
Iris, I don't like having to make those choices. My DH and I are really contemplating selling our house and renting something small. I hope you get some good information to help you make that decision.
Tomboy, You don't know how good it feels to see you swinging that hammer again!! I see that smile on your face even with all the aches and pains. Love you sweet friend.
It was so gloomy here this morning that I overslept. Now the sun is shining and I'm off to take my walk in a bit. I hope you all have a peaceful, pain-free day.
Love to all...quiet crazies too!!

M0mmy, Now that I think back, I don't think I've ever mowed a lawn. You go girl!
Shorfi, HI!!
Iris, Change is scary. I guess that's why I'm dragging my feet about selling our house. The thought of downsizing is mind boggling. I'm glad you liked the place. Personally, if we sold everything off, I'd like to hit the road in a big motor home and travel from state to state. I could probably get motivated for something like that!!

Hi, thanks, everyone. Less than 24 hours left in the waiting room. I know that even if worse comes to worse this is only the first treatment I've had, and there are lots more to try.
proudtospin - I visited a few assisted living places for my parents last year. They all seemed very nice. The one we chose had great food and really good people. We had to put a lot of my parents' things in storage, knowing that most of it would never come out, but it was a way to keep the folks happy and not fretting about their possessions. Most of which they haven't missed. Myself, I'd like to live in a tiny house. That's possible here in Oregon because we don't have extreme weather. No tornadoes, for example. : )

hi Slow - You could lead a crazy town caravan touring everywhere in your motorhome!! Just like Griswold's family vacation, except we'd never ever strap you to the roof )))) Best wishes nine, and everyone.

Slow, my husband and I fantasize about selling our house and buying a motor home and seeing every state and all of Canada. Someday! But he's such a pack rat it would need to be a big one

(((Nine))) Welcome to anyone I missed. Hugs to everyone else. We had a fun employee event today. This is me at the selfie station. The theme was the 60's and Dorothy Chandlers birthday. It was loads of fun.

Nine, Thinking of you tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news.
Phoebe, hahahaha. Now that would be an interesting site to see.
Italy, I hear ya. I can't believe some of the things my DH saves. I mean really...will he ever use all twenty of those pickle jars?
Molly, That picture is great!! You're look so pretty!! I hope Wyatt is feeling better tonight.
Tomorrow is Friday!! Yipeeeee!!
Sleep well crazies....quiet crazies too!!

Morning hugs to all!!!!
Well the lawnmower adventure yesterday left me a bit sore last night. But it's gone this morning. Still got a bit of yard work left but that shouldn't take very long to do. Just relaxing a bit before I get going.

thanks for your thoughts on moving,, gonna take it slow

Slow, I still read here and think good thoughts for everyone every day. Thanks for checking in! I decided to get reconstruction, so that's been keeping me busy. Also, as to the bonfire! Ohohohoh pick me pick me pick me can I be the bonfire tender??? My philosophy is that it isn't a good fire unless it can be seen from space! Safety first, of course. Maybe someone could be my co watch woman, since I'm not yet a full time resident of CT? Let's put it out in the town square in that big sandy area. Its a magic fire that uses fear and bad things as fuel and releases happy life giving cleansing smoke like a sage bundle! I have some paranoia and fat lumps to throw on there to start things off. LET's LIGHT IT UP!!!!

Not quite finished with the yard work, got a little to do in the morning. The battery on my cordless weed whacker started dying.

LittleBlue- YES!!!! to the bonfire. You are in charge.
Waving 🙋🙋💁🙋 to all the lovely hearts residing here. Quiet ones too!
