Thinking of you all, hope every one is all right today. Sula has been on my mind too. BRRR!!! It's geeting too cold for these ol bones! Might as well move to Montana, or someplace like that. The only thing keeping he & I from doing that, is NOTHING. We are such hermits, pretty good at entertaining ourselves, may as well. But wish for our own personal private sunny island.

Mazel tov, kkuziel! I suspect the next we hear of Sula is when she shows up on a cooking segment of some TV show or other!

Iris, no sooner did I read about your cookie-jones than Bob walked in the door with a giant box of cookies from The Twisted Baker in Lincoln Park, a gift from one of the surgeons at Advocate Christ (whose niece used to be on SNL, Ana Gasteyer). We both looked at the green ribbon, then at each other, then at the ribbon, then said, naah, they’ll keep—best to eat the apple-sour cherry pie (oatmeal crumb topping) and the baklavas before they go bad. We’ll refrigerate the baklava tray before we leave so it’ll be okay for our party when I get back from DC the night of the 30th.

Again, heard from Sula last night......she did not know about Beppy yesterday morning......the last time I PM'd her was just to make sure she was ok....at that time Beppy was still with us.......old timers on here always did that when we didn't see someone posting for a while....guess old habits don't stop............anyway.......I figured not coming on CT she might not know about Beppy, and I know Beppy liked Sula a lot......so I sent her another message telling her how we had lost our dear friend..........she was shocked, and sent her condolence back to all.....................

So she is busy, and has not be visiting CT..........

I am happy to hear that Sula is busy. Nobody does food porn as well as her. Sure we can all find pictures, but you just cannot beat homemade.

Still in the place where Beppy's passing feels surreal. I miss her. That feeling makes me sad for all who knew her so much better than I. Love you all bunches.

Myofacial Release is doing wonders for my pain levels and range of motion. I am blessed to have a talented OT. It can be painful, and usually is, but the relief when the pain subsides is tremendous. The flexeril makes me useless for a day but allows my body to recover. I am looking forward to the day that my fascia is back where it belongs! Until then I soldier on.

We are hoping to move soon. We are about to put the house up and have found a place that will work. Hoping the timing all works out. I am ready for an acre of land again. We will also be able to park the RV at our house, which will mean more savings without a storage fee. Then add the savings from no HOA...fantastic! We needed more garage space too!

The neighbor issue is still not fully resolved, but has sped up our timeline for transplanting ourselves. It will all happen as it was meant too. Fingers and toes crossed that this goes smoothly. At this stage in the game we may need to hire movers. I am hoping to string together some good days in order to pitch in. My husband has been carrying the load and I worry about his spinal fusion. He is not the most careful and one can never rule out accidental injury. Our own personal "House Murphy" (Murphy's Law) will hopefully remain with the house. We do not want or need him to move along with us. We are hopeful...or at least for this particular moment I am...😬

Hugs and kisses! Love you all!

Morning, back from ct, this tummy place moves fast from first meet with doc to test, follow up iardnes on thurs. Will be happy to figure this out and maybe get a belated holiday treat

To those with spinal issues, i am watching Trisha on food network. She has Nadia and Bart union Connor as guest. Bart would not do certain moves when Nadia was demo the balance beam, seems he has certain issues.......Likely from lots of long ago issues and surgery, lesson to be learned ......caution is good

Thanks for support this morning, helpful to know I have support

Wanna do an afternoon Party? On to dermo this pm for a mole thingie that they found

hey, thanks joining me at dermo, i told him my tally of woos of the past year and also that I had just come from ct scan for tummy Issues, hated to think he would be giving me more antibiotics for this mole

So he compromised, he is head of the practice and reviewed my test results and did a shallow thing, will biopsy it and if all clear, then cool, if not we can do this in a second scraping

Cool, home and hoping to bring g bp down some more Tonight! Gym tomorrow to chill a bit

    Couldn't help myself.

Iris, I hope you are doing better and I'm in your pocket tomorrow.

Ducky, Molly, Tomboy, ChiSandy, Robin, kkuziel, Cubbie and all others I missed.. I just did a brainfart and can't remember everyone. Try to have a Merry Christmas. Grandsons are arriving tomorrow and staying until Monday (if the weather is good for travel). So I won't be around. If you need me PM me and it will ping my email. In everybody's pocket that needs it!

Oh BTW - insurance won't pay for a breast MRI, so with DH out of work, I guess it is all on hold. Insurance wants me to have a mammogram too. Doc offered to give me major pain meds to survive a mammogram.. I can't believe it.

Gma, that was my Princess kitty earlier this month. She finally understands that she is not supposed to climb inside the tree or play with the ornaments.

GMA, can you appeal the decision by the insurance? I am very sorry. Merry Christmas and enjoy those grands! They are such a gift from above.

Merry Christmas everyone. I am trying to make myself scare for a few days. I don't have an evening nurse this week and need to focus when I am at home. Love and hugs to each and everyone one of you crazies and to the silent crazies too. Be safe, have fun and eat a lot of good food!

Sending what peace I have to the crazies, both noisy and quiet. Got my semester grades today--A in Introduction to Business and B in (Computer) Networking--but both were a resounding success in that they got me up, dressed, out of the house and stewing about something besides my next doctor's appointment. Also thinking about what I want to do next.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah and Happy Holidays to all of you!

I had a strange and stressful day today: my stepmom didn't show up for a meet-up with my son and basically went MIA for a few hours. Turned out to be a comedy of errors involving switched cars for the day with her son, didn't have the right key on her key chain, took her old cell phone with her and not the new one she had just had activated the night before...and she is fine, but I was stressing out big time. Missing out on lunch with my son and not answering calls was very out of character. Oh well, she is fine, just feels a bit dumb, all crazies can relate. I was stressed about it though: kept thinking: 'what else could this year throw at me?'

I have so much to do tomorrow to get ready for the holidays that my head is spinning! Today was my last day in the office until after the New Year so woohoo for that and it did feel like Friday. TGIF!

Molly, is that your house? It looks SO Perfect!!! If it is yours, I am quite impressed. Hope you find time to breathe. Thinking of you also.

    QMC, congrats!

Thinking of you and the rounds with the doctors, Iris.

Lucy, I owe you an email. Can't wait for May!

    Yep, pretty naughty ducky.

Love and peace of the season to all of you!

Hi crazies! I thought I should check in.

I had my routine six-month mammogram today. I wasn't really worried until the radiologist came in to talk to me. It seems I'm going to need a biopsy on the other breast due to calcifications that were detected on the mammogram. I'm feeling pretty sensitive and a little freaked out.

    F cancer

I have a small tree on my coffee table. Not much as far as decoration either. My view is my Christmas decoration.
