Fun but did as told, called a pal to take me and she gets points for just coming over right away. Nothing found, i think i get dehydrated and that makes me lightheaded or dunb from th meds, but doc is going to set up tests and such.

All of you ladies are truly amazing!  Thank you so much for the hugs and support!  Now I know how to send ((((hugs))))!

Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life and today everything is much brighter.  After seeing the surgeon for my results, I was told that my tumours were benign....even though the aspirate tested positive for malignant cells (colloid cancer).  This has left me somewhat confused and the surgeon said they aren't concerned about the aspirate results.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I still have to have the one large mass removed and then it will be tested again.  Good news is, the left breast only has a calcification.  The right was diagnosed as a fibroepithelial lesion.  I feel like I am still in total shock, very pleased, but in shock after the weeks and weeks of worrying.  I realize I'm not out of the woods, but this is truly an answer to prayer.  I wish everyone waiting for results will get results stating benign.

The GREATEST thing from today is that my Mom recovered.  This is another miracle.  She had been asleep from Tuesday evening and woke up this morning just before noon.  We were told she was on her way out of this world and now she is sitting up.  Very weak from not eating or drinking all that time, but in good spirits.  This has been a couple of days of riding an emotional rollercoaster.

My surgery date is scheduled for late January.

Iris - I am so sorry you have had such a tough day.  I hope you will be feeling better soon!

    Praying for all of you!

tessie!!! Yay for good results, and triple yay for the miracle of your Mom getting better!! Keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Hoping others can chime in on the results, but I'd definitely ask lots of questions on the aspirate results. I am glad you are getting another test post-surgery...

Hang in there and more hugs coming your way!

went to the eye doctor today. Good news is no sign of any problems. No change to prescription. Bad news is that my issues seem to be fatigue related. Yet another thing to talk to the MO about next week.

Tessie, 'tis the season for miracles!

Iris, this is a shot in the dark, but you wouldn't happen to be on a statin, would you? Muscle aches (especially symmetrical) & weakness can be a dangerous sign, calling for immediate discontinuation of the statin and medical assistance ASAP.

TarRenee...Hi and Welcome ..glad your eyes are fine ..could the fatigue be related to Christmas ..? ..I know that the closer we are getting to Christmas the more exhausted I am becoming ..!!!

Lucy, if only it were that simple! I am 3 months in on my friend Tamoxifen and I stay so tired. She thinks the lack of sleep and anxiety are just getting to me and manifesting in a new way. I have a “lazy” eye that shows itself when I get very tired. While I haven’t “seen” it lately, I do know I’ve been tired since surgery! Hoping my MO can help me out with the sleep issue, but really am glad there’s not something wrong with my eyes

Tessie, Hooray for Christmas miracles. I will pray that the tumor is completely benign. TaRenee, welcome. Pull up a rocking chair and relax on the porch. I was exhausted after surgery for months, hopefully that's all it is.

Sandy, yeap, i have been on statin forever it seems, likely most of them at one point or another. I appreciate the thought although i get checked by my primary every 3 months and the mo at every visit and more likely cancer related. But you better believe i will metion it when i visit end of month. But.......think i will test it by skipping my statin for the next few days. If the statin is the cause, it would improve immediately, experience of past and mjy cardiologist confirmed that to me.

Rainy day on east coast, counting glasses of water jiuce yesterday kept me better hydrated so better go get refill!

Lucy55 - what's for Christmas dinner? I had a dear friend who lived in Mosman just outside of Sydney, and she used to make about 175 plum puddings every year. I spent 6 weeks there with her about 3 years ago, and it was fabulous. Where are you?

Tessie - what a wonderful Christmas miracle for you!!

TaRenee- hope you are doing okay.

Merry Christmas to any who celebrate. I've been in a Christmas funk for a few weeks but am trying very hard to work my way out of it. We are staying at my daughter's and she can easily drive me crazy!

TaRenee, tamoxifen can cause cataracts (or rapidly "ripen" pre-existing ones). The good news is that cataract surgery is a piece of cake. Much less painful (if at all) and far, far fewer side effects than getting a tooth pulled. It's the most common surgery performed these days.

Against all odds, we got a white Christmas--5" on the ground. Hope yours is a happy one, everybody!

No snow here in Central California...but the sun just came out, so I am not complaining.

Wishing all a joyful holiday and may there be peace on earth for all of us!

Be careful what you wish for: Erie, PA has had 53" of snow over 4 consecutive days and it's still falling. We here in Chiberia made it all the way up to 7F today--3 now, going down to 1. By Thurs. night it'll be down to -3 (that's F, not C) with more snow. Ugh. At least we have a shovel guy now. We had 5" fall on Christmas Eve & Day. Sunny but frigid today (never got out of single digits), with much of the snow "sublimating" (evaporating w/o melting). Sitting here in flannel PJs, a hoodie (zipped) and my toes icy inside faux-shearling slippers. Time to don the UGGs...indoors.

I hope everyone had a joyous holiday season with their family!  I had checked out for a few days.  For those of you who are wishing for snow....come to Winnipeg, Manitoba where I live!  Tomorrow it is forecasted to be -39 with wind chill.  Never fun!  You all are such an amazing group of women and I am so blessed to have had your support in the past month.

How are you doing proudtospin? ((((iris))))

Bad news about my mom.  Saturday she had a fall which resulted in a broken hip.  We opted for no surgery due to her dementia, osteoporosis, age, etc.  Hardest thing we have ever have had to do.  She will now stay in hospital until she passes from no food and water.  She is on strong pain medication but still seems like she is suffering with moaning and waking up every so often.  Tomorrow I will ask for meds to be increased even more so.  I ask all of you to please pray that she goes quickly.  I feel selfish in making this request when so many of you are suffering yourselves.  I do pray for all of you everyday since I have joined this forum.  I have been overwhelmed by the support and kindness I have found here.  It has been very comforting for me.  No one has any idea what it feels like to be faced with a cancer diagnosis until it truly happens to you.  There are so many emotions and fears.  I have felt like this has been the only place where I can be honest about how I feel since you have all been through it or are currently experiencing the same.  How did we ever live without the internet?!!!!

Wishing all of you a blessed New Year!  And thank you again for all of your support.  It is so inspiring to hear all of your stories and have the privilege to share in your day to day lives.

Well, it is cold in nj also, my docs office called me yesterday and offered me an appt today, i guess many folks cancelled non urgent appt if a cancer center has such things! So just home, i felt much better and stronger this morning, wierd as had horrid nite mares and slept nasty.all night. Got my bone denisity shot.

TessieB: you and your mother are in my thoughts, and my prayers if you'll have them (I've started moving out of the cancer-crazy, but my beloved next-door neighbor and catsitter, 92 is getting shakier) I think you've made the right decision.
