Lucy.....my little house guest left last Momday...I sure do miss her.....great dog, and I would love to keep her.....but that is not happening.....been taking care of a few things so I was not online.......well I was but for a lot different things then chatting.....

We are all ready for our Eagles today...it is so exciting here all over the Philly area...we love our Eagles, and we are a football town...so sad our QB got hurt but he is a all out player and takes more chances then he should...but he is a winner.........Nick Foles will do aa good job, and its a tough spot for him considering he has only played 3 games with the team....but we’re behind him...so Go Eagles

Sandy it is Rivera can never remember the name....what a place...they want me to go, I am not interested.don’t want to fly, but I have seen the pictures, and the video’s taken by my son....trust me......that water is very, very, close and beside their own private pool, their is the Gulf, and he walked from the sand in front of his Villa...to the Gulf...close, very, very, close.....too close for me....a lot closer then the beaches/water in South Jersey shore points.....and some of them are close.....

My pick is whoever helps me win my randomly-assigned office-pool squares.

my philosophy for the Vikings vs Eagles game is this:

Anybody who can BEAT BRADY gets my vote.

Yes. I’m bitter. My Saints are out and so are the Panthers. I wish we weren’t in the same division and could play for the big one against each other.

Tomorrow I go for my checkup with my BS. I’m not sure why I’m nervous. She’s awesome and I’m sure all is well. I do have some questions for her but nothing I expect to be wrong. Just nervous.

In your pocket for the BS visit. Da Bears haven't been in the final four, much less SB, for ages, so I kind of lost interest (except for our neighborhood restaurant's friends-and-family party).

Bummed that the Vikings are out. Really was looking forward to seeing the Vikings in it. Oh well, at least one of my four teams are still in it. (I only support the Pats because of my hubby

Been having some pain in my back for about a month now and I can't take the pain anymore. Only thing that is relieving the pain is using a heating pad. Something showed up on the most recent CT Scan that is related to the back but not cancer related. So going to see my doctor to get a referral to see if I can be evaluated by the physical therapist who helped my hubby when he broke his wrist almost two years ago to see if he thinks some physical therapy will help.

Ducky, hubby is from central PA, near Harrisburg...so he figures he can root for either the Pittsburgh or Philly teams, depending on which way the wind is blowing :-)

Mommy, I hope the pt can help with pain relief!

Appointment today went well. She says I have wonderful doctors who do beautiful work. lol I agree, actually. The girls do look good. Even if they are TE.

So she says everything looks good. I go back in 6 months for my next appt with her. We talked about SE and sleep and hot flashes, night sweats and fatigue. She wants me to come off the Effexor and try vitamins. I have to back off it and not just stop since I’ve been on it almost 5 weeks now. She said one of her patients who was on arimedex was having horrible SE and started on this vitamin regime and they went away. Hey, I’m willing to try! It’s available online only from what I have been able to find. JuicePlus. Has anyone here tried that? I haven’t ordered it yet. I stopped at the Vitamin Shoppe and got the knock off to start until I order the other. I will let you know how it goes.

Glad to have some good news. :

Glad the appointment went well, TaRenee. My turn to have see MO tomorrow. I expect it to go well, but I do have a few questions for him, mostly about my blood pressure, which appears to be slowly creeping up, and letrozole. I suspect part of the problem is that I've been exercising less, thanks to my knee surgery, but want him to weigh in.

On a happier note, I heard a rumor that today is Sandy's birthday. Happy Birthday, Sandy!

well happy 29th birthday to sandy! Enjoy your day.

Well did my first pt at the cancer center, definitely a good plan to have the therapy at same hospital as my treatment, as she said, my back is pretty wonkie and best to be part of my team. Will bbe doing it twice a week for a time and working on balance and hope to regain confidence. Also hope to figure out why at times my legs just give out and i fall, wierd really

Saw my primary doctor today and he approved referrals for pain management doctor and physical therapy. He ordered an MRI for my back to see what is going on and causing the pain.

Thanks for the 30th birthday wishes (v. 2.0.7)!

MO visit went well yesterday--lab hit the vein on the first try. DEXA Scan showed my R hip is now normal, and the osteopenia everywhere else has improved. Lost 2 lbs. No longer anemic--"H&H" are now 12.2/39. But glucose is 133, so my PCP is definitely gonna want to run another a1c. We may need to have the "metformin talk" (Bob thinks it's a miracle drug, but my PCP prefers lifestyle measures wherever possible). In 2016 my a1c was 5.8, with a fasting glucose of 92; a year later it was 6.2, with glucose of 122; heaven knows what'll be today--probably >6.5.

Gotta get back to the gym too. Bummer is that my L wrist still hurts like hell from trying to open that stupid bottle of generic Zyrtec. Next time I'm going to demand a whole bunch of empty non-childproof bottles!
