Molly, glad you are feeling better and good to hear from you!

Iris, I suggest calling the campaigns of whatever signs are out there and asking them, if you have time and feel like it. Good candidates will be good citizens and remove their signs after the election, whether they won or lost. Glad your port is healing!

Just checking in: it is cold here in Northern New Mexico and we expect snow tonight. Still a novelty to me so I don't mind. A friend is coming to visit from California next week, I had to warn her to bring a coat.. :-) Other than that, not much going on. Oh, one thing: we have started house hunting here: we are in a rental we like but the market here is weird and renting is actually more expensive than buying (I guess because we get a lot of tourists). We found one place we really like but were outbid. It was in the country on an acre of land and was beautiful. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be, and the right place will come along....

    Hugs to all the crazies!

Octo...Enjoy having your friend stay ..snow sounds fun ! Maybe a White Christmas ??

Iris..hope they remove the signs !

Our build is coming along ..the pool was cemented Friday ..so I'll have a pool for Christmas even if my house isn't completely finished 🙄

well still waiting and about to become a less patient patient. Haha.

I see a plastic surgeon on Wednesday and I really hope to at least have a surgery plan by the end of this week. Holidays are looming and it’s freaking me out. The MRI found a bunch of smaller masses on my left side. I only know this because the report came up on my online portal. My doctor hasn’t called...the whole thing scares me because they are BIRADS 4 and recommended for biopsy.

Been reading this thread...also very happy that election is over, and I think I’m going to invest in one of those coloring books...I’m definitely in crazy town!

    Hugs to all

Jo, I am unfortunately very familiar with atrophy symptoms since my BSO in 2011. This is different. My son was dying and all I could do was take care of him and go to work. Add to that my last batch of KeyE vaginal suppositories were melted and worthless but Wyatt was too critical for me to send them back. I got to the point where I could not walk or stand for the intense pain. I mistook it for yeast this time because I actually got relief from the treatment. Sex is always painful because I have multiple prolapses. Thanks for your support. I hope someone will benefit from my experience with this new estrogen product.

molly- I apologize. I was unaware of your history with atrophy. I misunderstood I thought this was something new you were experiencing with your body. I was aware of the loss of your beautiful son and I feel so badly that you have been through so much pain; emotionally and physically. How horrible for you. I'm glad this medication is providing you with some relief.

Oh Jo, no apologies necessary. I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else will benefit. It's really rather awful that we have to do something daily to battle atrophy. I thought it was bad enough before BC but nothing compares to AI's stripping the last bits of estrogen from our bodies.

Wiggins, I have a cup of cocoa for you on the porch if you need company while you wait.

jo- I’m actually at a marathon day if appointments today getting second opinions from 4 doctors. I had some major communication issues with my first team, and something was missed on MRI by the first radiologist. Getting my right side worked up today. I do feel like I’m in better hands now. Will have some delays in “the plan” related to this but it’s better to have found out about the surprises on the right side now rather than later. Waiting for u/s and mammo right now. Literally IN a waiting room

Wigging ..hope everything goes well with the mammo and ultrasound..yes ..despite a delay with treatment plan it's so much better to have the full picture now ..Hugs

Iris ..it's great the clot is gone and kidneys are O.K ..maybe some of your icecream might settle your tummy ?

Off to my 6 year old granddaughter's school assembly this morning..She's getting a merit award and is so excited !!!!

wigging- I agree with you it's better to have a delay in a treatment plan and get it right then to rush. I also had a delay in my treatments plan and I was not very gracious about it. I was wrong. The doctors got it right. I'm so glad you're feeling more comfortable with your new team.

Iris- I'm so glad the clot is gone. Hopefully you'll be feeling better real soon.

Wow--the entire Eastern Seaboard down to VA seems to be one long CrazyTown. Here in what is normally known as Chiberia, we got maybe 1/2" of snow (tough to measure because it melted as soon as it hit the pavement) and spent much of the day hovering around 40. (Our time is coming, I suspect).

Sandy-the weather has been so crazy. How do you manage to get around? Im sitting on my front porch playing with the dogs. I ran a 5k at 7:00 am. Its 70 degrees now but it will get hot in a few hours. I'm taking one of my neighbors who has developmental delays to one of our busiest malls. This has been our tradition for the past 7 years. Her father is 95 and he is unable to take her Christmas shopping. My idea of crazy town is trying to find parking at this mall. And even though the holidays are upon us when people are looking for parking there are some who aren't very gracious. Okay forget nice they are nuts. Even though I know it's going to be a little crazy today I'm looking forward to it. My neighbor is such a sweetheart. She will have on her Santa hat and bring Christmas CDs for us to play on our way to the mall. Have a great day.

Hi all...I've had a lot going in so haven't check this board in a few days, and so much happens! Lucy, love the granddaughter pic, you must be so proud!! and Iris, hope your stomach is feeling better...Hugs to Molly and Mas and Wiggins and all of you!

We had some snow last week but nothing like some of you are describing...it has all melted now and with highs in the mid-forties and lots of sun it feels downright balmy! I am hearing the reports from back home in California and am feeling particularly blessed to be in NM right now. The news from Paradise is just horrifyingly sad, and where I used to live in Central California, two hundred miles away, my old employer shut down Thursday and Friday and told everyone to stay home due to the poor air quality...

I've been busy, partly because we've been house-hunting and yesterday we had an offer accepted on a new house! We are in contract, so fingers crossed that inspections and all go well! It has gorgeous views, a lovely guest room (hint hint :-)), and a beautiful patio for summer and fireplace for winter...
