gkbuser, I started growing my gray out a little over a year ago. My hair was fairly long and I basically kept it pulled up. In November it had grown out enough to get a sassy haircut that was not too short and should be relatively easy to grow out. I LOVE my silver hair and get lots of compliments on it......also don’t miss the time and expense of hair color. And ABC evening news recently reported that permanent hair color is linked to breast cancer....increases the risk in white women by 9% and Women of color by 45%!! So, hang in there with the process. My brother called me a “tweener” when it was about halfway grown out. We all got a good laugh!!
