JFL - well said. It bothers me that the envy monster bit me, but I try to never lose sight of the fact that we each have to walk our own, often unknown, path, and as easy as it is to envy someone, they too have their own problems. It sucks for all of us

Lynne NH your granddaughter is full of third grade wonder. She looks happy and excited. My son has the same grizzly bear appearance. Every once in a while he shocks me and shaves trims and cuts.
Muddling I hope you make it to the doctor. Maybe you can ask for an earlier appt. they have given me shots a day or two earlier when I traveled. I know they probably have a full 21 day bottle of ibrance bc these drug companies give them samples. I pray you get everything you need and can be safe and warm to weather the storm.
I hope everyone who had a test scan or anything is ok today.
Thanks for the support today. I met with the neurologist onc and she said she didn’t see anything new on the MRI but will wait for final report from radiologist which didn’t accompany my scan.
I see my onc next week. I don’t feel that awful anxiety anymore bc she showed me the MRI and explained everything. Her name is Ashleigh she’s amazing.

hi Ladies. I am getting ready for bed.. thought I’d say goodnight. Hope all is well and every one sleeps good. I’ve been diligently working on the napkins tonight to give myself a break from the gluing. But here are what I have done now. I had hot gun glue this time for the gem insert. I love the contrast of white rinestone with the dark burgundy coloring!!

Good Morning Mae~ thank you very much and yes I am trying to continue this pace to make sure things are done. I don't like rushing. I am doing the best I can. I can't believe it's tuesday and Saturday's the big day! Wow. Where did the time go? Fall in coming. So therefore Mae....winter is coming! 2019 GOT baby!! Real soon. Big brother ? Watching it this season? Big brother celebrity is coming after the finale is over. And survivor comes back on. Love all of them!!

I totally agree with you Muddling. My heart breaks over and Over. It’s another form of cancer in my eyes. Terrorism..... just plain unexplainable loss. For what... nothing.

Muddling and Micmel-Glad I'm not the only one with a Grizzly son! LOL He started with a thin Abe Lincoln beard after high school. I didn't mind the full beard, when he kept it trimmed, now it's getting out of control. I've also never seen his hair this long. It's lovely (girls would envy his thick waves), but he always wears a hat. I told him I'm going to put it in a pony tail. Oh well, he's a wonderful man, father, uncle and son, what more can you ask for? Thanks for the comments on my granddaughter. She's almost as tall as my mother and older daugther (around 5 ft) and wears a size 8 1/2 (bigger than me and my older daughter and my mother) shoe! Her mother is 5'10" and my son is 6'. She is not going to be short, that's for sure!

I just came back from MO appointment to tell me the PET results . I got grait news - my bones are healing. You guys can only understand how much energy and strength is required to go there to find out is it good or bad. Now the waiting is over and I can relax for the next 3 months.
I am praying for everyone who has coming test to to hear the good news. Hugs , prayers and love Elen

Blueshine~ Hello darling, I am thrilled for your great news! Yahoo! 🍷🍷this is music to the ears!! Thank you for the nice words about the decorations. I am trying really hard to personalize this for her. I only have one daughter, I want it special, my vision for her. I still have the rest of the petals to glue the gems on... I think I counted 5 left to do. Luckily it's the small ones...the day of the reception in the am I have to go to the venue and assemble them at the venue because they require water. Still a lot to do. My DH will be here early Friday morning to finish the ironing. My DSS will be arriving Friday evening and will be apart of the decorations crew for Saturday. My DS is driving down to get the cocktail tables that we need and had to rent. Then the alcohol.... but finally I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The shower check ✅ done! Soon it will be in the memory books.

Scanxiety over and so happy, liver in great shape, and no evidence of any further mets. A little more 'inflammation on my acetobellum (hip joint). Whoohoo, a bit wobbly,,has a glass, of wine and a Limoncello!!

We're unpacking boxes, this is the living room/dining room..others I'll leave packed since I know we're probably moving again in a year or so. I couldn't do the unpacking without my niece (who did the kitchen today) and DH who are doing all the heavy work. I don't think I have the energy or brain power to decide where stuff goes, but I do....Lol, I guess we just push on. I start one more cycle of Taxol on Friday (#18) and then hopefully that's it. I will stay on the Xarelto for the blood clots. I'm very happy to report my CT scans (thorax and abdomen) continue to show that things are stable. Yippee! Makes all the Taxol treatments worthwhile! The new MO wants to put me on Tamoxifen next, have any of you been on it for MBC?
Micmel, I'm in your pocket cheering you on as you make the final push to get things done. I’m good a cheering but terrible at gluing or designing.....Your work is perfect and only you will be able to see what is slightly off. It will look magical when it is all put out, glittering, lights flickering! I hope the weather cooperates!
Gracie, Minnie, Blueshine, Tanya..and all that I've missed, any day with good news brightens the day. Getting scans scares me each and every time, I’m onthe edge until I get the news that I can breathe again.

I got so much done yesterday, finished the napkin rings & placed the bubbles in the basket for party favors along with the other basket of bag favors from the shower that the ladies forgot. WE were All worrying about the weather that day. I also finished the smaller centerpiece smiles with all the added gems. Now its just touch ups. Ironing, I'll see if I can begin to peck away there for a little today. Still 40 chair covers to iron. But it's coming together only thing to finish paying for is the DJ and drinks! We are getting there! Still can't believe it's Saturday! Wow. You have a lot of boxes there chicky!!!it looks intimidating to me but I am so glad you have the help you need special lady. Pots, I’m on tamoxifen. I had some hot flashes, which went away after a couple months and joint pain/stiffness in my fingers and knees, which continues but is lessened by taking glucosamine daily (MO’s recommendation). Sometimes I feel like an old lady but that may be more an SE of estrogen suppression itself, rather than the tamoxifen. Staying active and moving helps the most so far.

I go to IR today. Finally. I'll let you know. Also, it looks like we will get to go on our trip since the Hurricane turned. I'm anxious to get a firm plan for new TX. I know I will feel less stressed after today's appointment.

I made this tiny bonnet for my onc whose wife is expecting baby any day now and may have delivered already. In my old life, I'd have made afghan,bonnet, sweater, and booties but my $%&#+* hand won't work. It should have taken me an hour or two but it took days, crocheting a few minutes at a time. Anyway, it's pale yellow and from a lovely, soft yarn with a little sheen.
I used to make beautiful things but this isn't my best. I did put good wishes for the baby in each stitch, so that's something.

Muddling, it's beautiful, and extra special with love in every stitch. I can't do the little things I used to, as suffer numbness in finger tips at times.
