    Good morning ladies and Daniel

My friend has a fit watch or something and it beeps to tell her it’s time to move. I found it to be hilarious as she presses the button to stop the “move” alarm but still relaxes on the couch. She’s 69 and has had bypass surgeries 11 children still works, seriously she has to move lol.

I started gardening. Just potted plants bc I can’t turn over a flower bed bc my back. I love being outside until the mosquitoes attack.

Gum doctor I love your serenity place. I made a separate place inside my home this year and made the garden outside of my window. I love house plants but hate the mess I make with them. Yours are beautiful.

I hear everyone’s complaints and I have them too. I want to go outside everyday and have a special activity at least every other day. I read once about the 3 keys to happiness, someone to love, something to do and something to look forward to. Yesterday I went to Ross and Lowes with my daughter and dropped grandkids off for first day of basketball practice. The twins (boy and girl) are on the same team for the first time in her life she’s playing in a team. She usually just plays with her brothers and is quite good. I think she’s even a smidge taller than him. 5th graders.

Tanya~ those are some good looking children. My goodness no wonder you're beaming with pride. I love their outfits. They are colorful and bright just like their happy smiles. Thanks for sharing. It makes me happy to see families loving each other. The world goes around. Because of love and money. For some. Love has to be enough. Because as we know. Money doesn't buy you love. I love the smooth lighting in your peaceful room. ITs someplace I could hang out. For sure! I don't have a green thumb either. No way!

Holmes~ Hello lovely. Good to see you and I wanted to thank you for your sweet words For me. It is so very hard to see someone decline like this. It makes me realize up front and personally that.... life is literally a blink of an eye. My father was tall and lean and handsome. The most handsome man usually in the room. For so long I looked up at him as this young girl and thought the moon was within reach when he was around. Now his legs are thinner than my arms. And his arms are like twigs. It's a long process for some. Death is. It is something I am forced to dance with because of him. But I do love him. I honestly hope everything in your world is as peaceful as possible. A dying parent is an exhausting thing to go through. I thank you for even caring and being here. Hugs to you!

my thought Of the day is:

If in this damaged world, we find a sliver of happiness, hold onto it as long as possible. For it is maybe meant for you and you should find happiness in that alone

    Hey Melissa!!

    Dropping by to say hi.

Ps. Tanya, I hadnt realized you were in Tampa. My wife's cusin has a beach house in Bradenton beach and we spent Christmas there a couple of years ago. There is so much to do with kids around there. Did y'all ever go do the pirate cruise?

Those pics are too funny especially on a rainy spring day in Texas. Fighting a cold all week, no energy to plant the rest of my flowers. Then I find out part of my no energy is from having very low potassium. It showed up on my labs with my new MO on Monday and I didn't get my potassium pills until last night. Turns out my new MO does not treat that issue or the other ones that showed up. What?!?! Faxed the labs to my PCP but she never got them. If I did not advocate for myself, my PCP would not have even known. What kind of medical world do we live in folks? I have experienced the effects of very low potassium in the past, I'm sure you know it can be deadly.

So, I have my pills now and I will go to my PCP next week to get labs to recheck. But this incident was an eye opener. When I see my new MO again on April 8, I'm going to request that low levels be called in to my PCP.

I do know I'm in the right place for my MBC, I'm certainly going to stay with her. I'm good at advocating for myself. This was just an eye opener. I can do this.

    good morning everyone!

Grannax - your post about your docs and your potassium levels made me say a big OY VEY!!! That’s so annoying and so frustrating. We really do have to be our own advocates. It makes me think about people who may not have all their faculties or people who are on the streets trying to figure out which meds they have taken or even remember to take their meds or evening have the right meds. While I work in the realm of “alternative/complimentary/holistic medicine, I am a huge advocate for western/biomedicine/conventional medicine. However - there are always holes in everything. And unfortunately your care has found a hole. I am so glad you were able to catch this yourself and have the wisdom to take care of you! This could’ve been very bad!!

I slept late today (once again 😬) and was going to try and go take a Zumba class but looks like that’s not happening. I’m pretty wiped out from two weeks of working my lil tushie off. I now have a 5 day break ahead of me thank goodness!! So this is day one and I am in bed drinking coffee...slowly gonna get up and outside. It’s a beautiful and warm day! Can’t wait to feel the sun on my face!!

Happy Saturday to all and lots of love,
    Philly

ichangedmyname EXACTLY I worry about those people too. Even one of my best friends is old school in her thinking about her doctors. Oh if she wanted me to know something she would just call me. 😑

I’m going to post some pics of my family at Blake’s State Gymnastics Meet. I’ll give you the inside scoop. The only reason Blake won all those medals is because there were only two kids competing in his age group at level 5 in the whole State! So he won seven second place medals and the other kid won seven first place medals. It took Blake a little while to figure that out. Too funny. But to be his age, 7, competing at that high level, most boys are older who are competing at that level, is impressive. He even gets to go to regionals, 5 states. Very big deal

You can see why I'm smitten b this grandson of mine. He's also very polite, completely lovable. The other pics are of Blake and his dad, my DS, and with my DD.

Things are much more relaxed with my kids since this meet. But, we are still scheduled to have “our meeting “ next Saturday. I'll be so glad to get that over with and move on.

Grannax advocating for yourself has kept you alive once again. I don’t know why the medical community is reluctant to coordinate efforts and information. I hope you feel better.

    Just finishing my coffee.

Feeding off you guys energy today. Grannax you’ll plant your flowers after your potassium gets regulated. Please send pics. I have four empty planters and 2 bags of dirt. I guess I may need Donnabelles socks today rough night.

Micmel enjoy your walk. Nicotine addiction is brutal.

Daniel I have seen the pirate ship but have not gone on it... yet. It’s docked near riverwalk which is an easy day out for me close to parking water taxis etc. very scenic. The beach that we were at is Anna Maria island right near Bradenton beach. We love it there less touristy.

Cure_ious thanks for sharing your farmers picture. Saturday morning cartoons got nothing on you guys.

Mae enjoy Wisconsin and your friends.

    Take care all

Daniel~Hello! 😄 How is Gabriel and Leslie? Tell Leslie we think of her everyday here , your family is thought of everyday. Always nice to hear from you and know all is well with your world.

Mae~Love love the Henna tattoo......how long do those last? I absolutely would love one of those. Where do you get one of those ? Absolutely beautiful. See I keep saying you're totally awesome. !

Grannax ~wow look who's super busy like wow. Those grandchildren continue to kick butt!! I am so happy things are going well. When you go into your talk. I'm praying it's. Smooth mediating formality to get things offically back to the story those pictures tell. They are beautiful and big and stronger. Love to see them always and tourney lovely daughter for sure ! Glad you're feeling better with your blood work. That can get very scary for sure. Your one tough cookie. Hugs to all! I love your hair!!

A beautiful sunset~ your name matches you beautiful! You're lovely! I certainly hope that is just for dehydration or antibiotics to give you a kick that you should need! I love your adorable jammies!! I hope you're feeling better soon Love having you here Is that snow???? Wow! Beautiful but such a contrast from my day here. So very calming and comphy! All those trees It's almost like Bambi will come hopping by!

Tanya~ Hello sweety! Got my Dad outside today for his cigarette (3) he was so happy he laughed and just was immediately himself with having it. It calmed him immediately and it was a beautiful day outside Perfect day to spend together. I am being forced to interact with my step mother..... I am being civil for my father, I just want to do the best I can to take careof him. Which I believe I am doing I'll take him I don't mind It gets him out of the room he stays in 24-7. I know what that does to the mind. Now he will have his drink and medicine. And hopefully be ok. Until the next round of smokes. Let me tell you. He smoked them to the filter. But At least it makes him happy. Love you friend.

I changedmyname~Hello there lovely. I tried to sleep in also. I think my sleep box is broken. I can't sleep past 800. No matter what. Either it's the dogs. Or my sons truck leaving for work. The dogs wait to see a twitch. Then they bark ALOT! Then I must sprint into action. Or else. Lol bark bark bark. Zumba. I have never taken one of those classes. Do you find it tolerable? I'd probably fall over. You go girl ! Hugs !

I have also noticed. Within myself. Lately, I have been forcing myself to do more than I am used to. Dealing wirh my father , has been a gift and a challenge for me and my little family. My DH is supportive. But I don’t want to force him by any means. I know my energy levels have increased. The more I push to get outside and do things the better I feel and the stronger I feel. Today, he was tired and wanted to get out of his wheel chair and get into his bed.....the nurse was taking too long. He wasn’t comfortable anymore. I picked him up and put him into his bed. He was so happy, I do not know were the strength came from. Good day!

Thanks Micmel. I'm hydrating while my family skis. It's peaceful and I'm happy at the moment. You are doing such a mitzvah for your dad.

    Grannax, grandkid goals, for sure!

    Tanya, beautiful children!

Mae, you keep on livin' it up!

Curious- my Foundation report was a bust. No targetable mutations. Actually no mutations at all. One... kinda lame non essential one. That's it. Disappointing.

Mae, Mae, Mae, those drinks look so good, good, good 🍹. Stupid cancer played a joke on me when it landed in my liver, although I do have a glass of wine now and then. And that tattoo is gorgeous. I’m thinking of getting a tattoo but I guess I should check with my MO first. Micmel, I get where your Dad is coming from, wanting his daily drink. Grannax, what an adorable boy, and all those metals. I’m sure he was proud as you all should be! Sunset, you look adorable and cozy in those jammies! Divine, I don’t usually throw around the “F” word but sometimes it is so appropriate, right, lol? Forced myself out for a short walk in our beautiful weather this morning and it knocked the feet out from under me. Day 3 after my first A/C. But I’m thankful for no nausea, just fatigue pretty much. Hoping for a more energetic day tomorrow.

    Let’s find some joy!
