    Mae,

That’s quite a lot of things to happen all at once! I hope your sunburn isn’t too bad. I got a little burned (back of my neck) even after putting on sunscreen. (I was told that Xeloda would enhance the chances of sunburn, and warned never to go out in the sun without it.) Oh well...it was worth it. Went on a high-speed boat ride on the 4th in St. Pete’s. We ran with the dolphins....it was really cool.

I love hearing about your travels;glad you are able to get some rest today. Enjoy!

BooBoo~Hi darling. Glad to hear you haven't melted. Also hoping you'll get used to it. Still wish you didn't move though!! Hope you enjoyed your Fourth of July 🇺🇸!

Tanya...hello sweetheart. You ok ? Vacation? You travel a lot as well. Hope you're staying cool!!

Minnie~Beautiful Minnie, hope your day was good our friend....pots...stillivin....Lynne...Chelle...Donna..Rosbella....Bella....JKL...JFL...

Philly~I have heard of cupping. How long will those marks last ? You look adorable as usual!! And yes magnificent hair! I'm so happy to see you swimming an having fun. It makes me smile to live through you all. You wouldn't want to live through me, or you would have just fallen down the steps LOL. Swim beautiful swim! But also take time to relax, with your precious parents !

How is our Gumdoctor? ~ sending hugs ! Jensgotthis!! 😃❤️ Hello lovely.

    MJH.... you too sweetheart....Parry...♾💜

    Gracie~always

Candy~it's just easier for me to stay in bed somedays honestly. I walk outside, immediately sweating and humidity. Gross. And my hair is long so it sticks To my back. All of the emotions and challenges we faced could be something we all could explain differently. I'm sure we all could write a book... I may name mine ... cancer.... a quick way to a mind fuc*!!

Moomala~totally agree with June's getting mad thought. the way you really do hate her one second. But can feel For her strangely, knowing she is clearly suppressed. That commander makes my skin crawl. What a fake loser! Don't want to give too much away just in case.

I admit I miss game of thrones. Big little lies. Is fantastic as well!!

I did get pretty burned and beaten up by rocks but I regret nothing. A man recently told me that I should “live a little”, I told him “I live a lot” 😃

Moomala~Like wow. I was just in lansdale and Hatfield this last week. It’s about 20’mins from my home small world. It is a nice area. I live off of 309! Next time you’re round this way. Let me know! Century house has awesome lunch! That’s awesome ! I’m gonna binge watch everything I can. It keeps me saine!

Mae~My goodness sweetheart. A broken flip flop? I think that would have done me in. My feet have to be ok or I can’t hang. Tires smoking. Geeze. Glad you’re ok. Tubing ? Hmmm scares the shit out of me. It is how I tore my entire shoulder cavity out. Sometimes
Not only shallow can totally hurt like hell, but the rapids sneak up. I will never be physically able to do that ever again. I laid in that tube three out of the four hours with my shoulder out of its socket. Let’s just say I was singing the blues. Loudly ! Fire works look awesome. Love them so much. I think our pigments change, I mean if we all have sensitivity to the sun, maybe that’s a cellular level as well! I hope you’re ok finally resting. You deserve it wow! Long strange trip it’s been! ❤️🇺🇸

Runor~you gotta stick with orange is the new black. The characters change a lot and in the end. It isn’t a bad show at all. I know some episodes may have dragged. But I got goosebumps with others. Funny as shit also. Dexter is dark, but also very humorous. Breaking bad is bad ass. I mean bad asss. Go Walter White!!!

En este momento prefiero las viejas comedias en dvd. Me encanta FRASIER y, por supuesto, SEINFELD, ¡creo que es la mejor comedia de todos los tiempos!

runor. So glad you support your daughter. I didn't have that type of support during my ten horse woman years. But, I supported my kids in their sports, tennis and gymnastics. They both required tons of traveling, money, setting up and running the meets, etc. But, it was the best and made a huge impact in their career choices. I would do it all again.

So, is Handmaids Tale a book and a movie as well as the Hulu series ? Everyone is talking about it but no one says what it's about. Someone please tell me what it's about. 💞

Yndorian-- I love Frasier too. I find old episodes on TV on a channel with oldies.

I'm sorry that Handmaids Tale is not available on South American stream platforms. It seems to be a great show.

Candy: you have to love that Niles, haven't you?

friends....Cheers...all classic for sure. Love them no matter how many times I watch them.

There is a-show on Hulu Ithink, called “the Mick". It is very funny. Every single episode I laugh out loud. Hysterically at some point. It's a really great take your mind off a shit day type of thing to watch for sure.

Hope all is well today and with those we haven't seen. Gracie...♾

Grannax~Let's see the best way to explain it. Handmaids Tales is about a republic forming inAmerica and taking over half of it and changing the way the government does things in order to assure a sur plus in births and re stacking the population of the country. The new republic has commanders( mainly the rich man of the home and in the richer districts) those commanders wives are barren and cannot bare a child. So the handmaids are “assigned" a posting , if you catch my meaning.

The tangled web part of things is who they were before the government “change" no longer exists, they get new names and aren't married. Even if they were. They were taken and the children were taken also and assigned to an elite home that wanted a child. It's creepy and it's mind bending. Almost like a Sophie's choice panic. In some cases. It's really wonderful acting. Take the chance and watch it. I love it.

    Hi Mel,

Thanks for telling us about the Mick. Was wondering if it was any good. I must have a weird sense of humor, because I seldom think shows that everyone else finds funny to be funny. So I’ll give it a try.

Wow, didn’t know about your tubing accident. That sounds horrible. Doubt I’d do it again after that either. But I have always dreamed of rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. My hubby is not a camper....likes his air conditioning and tv. I grew up camping. My parents took 5 of us, a tent, with a camp stove in tow, on some of the best trips ever. I never knew it’s because that’s all they could afford. My Dad was the best. Told ghost stories around the fire, and by the end, we’d have half of the kids in the campsite sitting with us. Ah, those memories....

Hope you are doing okay today, my friend....always thinking of you, Mel.

I have a twisted sense of humor and a lot doesn't offend me by any means. That is why I like to be open with everything and laugh and cry for real. The Mick made me howl sometimes with laughter. Kaitlen Olsen is an awesome actress. Funny funny funny. ! Thank you for always checking in on me here my friend. Btw the story about your dad made me tear up. Money can’t buy memories like that my friend.Hugs to you! ~M~ 🥰

Another binge worthy show is The Wire. And, if you have not tried it, give The Great British Baking Show a try. Very sweet!! I watched it during chemo while totally off sugar. LOVED it. Droll and funny.

I adore The Handmaid's Tale. So, so, good. Every terrible thing in the show is something that has happened at some point in history. Chilling and addictive!

Thanks for the summary of the series. Meanwhile, I googled the book and bought the ebook version. It was published in 1986. There's a movie also. I don't have Hulu but at least I can binge on the book. 💞

sometimes they even say the book can be better. I can safely say you won’t be able to put it down. The book is supposed to be great and the series is inspired from both the movie and the book. I love the actors that they chose. I would watch it again it’s so damn good.

    Good evening all

Great week for us. Got to spend time with ten of the grandkids at once. Hectic yet amazing. I’ve been reading and am thoroughly exhausted. I mainly stayed in the pool. It did some cooking too.

Gum doctor I geared up when I read about your day. Colonel the side effects sound like they happened so quickly and after ibrance what a shock and gut punch.

Mae I know you live large that man was barking up the wrong tree. My granddaughter got Abbas burn. Sun was brutal I think Wednesday was the worst day.

Here’s a pic of the whole gang in Orlando.

Tanya~Look at that huge happy family! I always like to see your family pictures because everyone seems to genuinely not mind getting their pictures taken. My family you have to choose a time and make sure you really tell them thirty minutes earlier than you really want them there. Kids are notoriously late! Sounds like having them all together was beyond special! I know you're exhausted. Especially the fatigue from Mrs ibrance! Have a great nights sleep. You're another travel bug! Loving that! We are supposed to get some storms. Hope they are loud. No bad stuff, just some rain with noises thunder. Love that!

Mae~ hope you can also sleep Tonight, sunburns sucks. Could never decide if I was hot or cold! Yuck! Hope you're doing well Mae!

Anymore I don't sleep long periods of time. Even if I don't nap during the day. Same thing. Not tired until around midnight or later. Yuck! After a certain time my brain turns to mush and then. It's night night nappies time!

    Sleep tight ladies. ~M~

Tanya - what a beautiful family!! Everyone looks like they are happy and enjoying one another’s company. I say a happy house is a house full of the sounds of children playing and making noise. Not that I have kids myself, but I find a lot of comfort in households with big families :) ❤️

Moomala and Micmel - re: the cupping. It shouldn’t hurt, as long as your practitioner is well-trained and knows what they are doing! Most people think it feels really good and provides a very very deep muscular relief. In Chinese medicine we say it is “clearing stagnation” out of the body. So, the belief is, the more stagnation in the body, the darker the marks tend to be. This was this guys first cupping session, and he has a ton of stagnation. That’s why the marks are so dark. But he loved it and said it felt amazing. The marks will take for him about 1 week to clear up, like a light bruise. Other people who have less stagnation and therefore the marks are much lighter, it can last 3-5 days typically.

And candy, lol! He is a very good looking guy! But he is married to a dear friend. I have been dating, I am seeing a few different guys right now. One knows I have MBC and there are actually two that are pursuing me that don’t know (yet). Not sure I’ll ever tell them! It is so much easier with them not knowing. If things turned serious, or they happened to notice my millions of bottles of medications that I now own, perhaps the story will seep out!

Mae - hope you’re not in too much pain with that sunburn! Looks absolutely gorgeous! I love tubing!!! You’re having an amazing summer! So glad you can do all these things!!

Oh and Moomala- you know there’s some things I think a lot about in terms of worrying about my ANC counts, and being in a public pool wasn’t one of them! Maybe I should be more concerned? I think my biggest paranoia is around food safety and food handling. I’ve stopped eating sushi 🍣 😭 which makes me sad because of the raw fish factor...but I guess public pools are typically so chlorinated - that it didn’t cross my mind! So far no issues in the past 2.5 summers!

    Tanya,

What a crew. You are one good-looking bunch! Cherish your time together. As someone said earlier, nothing in this life is guaranteed. Hope you had fun in Disney! Who is the little cutie in the front (in yellow)? She is adorable

Tanya-- Good looking group !!! And glad you got to have some fun.

Philly- Glad you are dating. Have fun. And I don't blame you for not wanting to say anything yet about your health. Maybe if/when things become serious. I don't have much experience with romance so I am not the one to give advise. I am single and will be staying that way.

Micmel, have you watched Killing Eve on Hulu? It’s intense but good.

Also, not sure if Hulu is still airing it, may be on HBO, but Sharp Objects with Amy Adams is a fabulous thriller.

Micmel you’re funny we were checking out and that’s why we were altogether. I’m in NY now I flew back with four of those young people. I’ll visit with my mom and two daughters and head out. It’s my ibrance week off starting tomorrow.

Booboo all of those young folks are my grandchildren. We have seventeen grands. That was amazing that we got ten together all at once. Girl in yellow is Yasmin my youngest daughters first born.

Thank you candy Philly and Divine. It sure feels good to do anything that keeps me busy and isn’t cancer related.

Philly I swam in a public pool all last week with the kids. I also do cupping once a week. My doctor moves the cups to move the stagnant blood. She does leave them on too sometimes. I e been going for years and it doesn’t leave marks that often on me anymore.

    Have a good week all

lol that makes sense Tanya lol I am going to attempt tonight to do to bed before midnight. Today my arm felt a little better. So I have to continue to rest it up. I hope you’re resting yourself after your trip. With that fine looking family. It was a beautiful day here today. I know how hot it gets in Florida. I have never been there but here it’s for bugs and it’s hot. I love the beaches but can’t take the heat anymore. Get some sleep....
I know I am going to try. My DH went back down. Today for work this week, so that sucks. I miss him a lot during the week. I need a hobby. Maybe I’ll try to paint or start to color again.
I remember when Parry would show us her art. It was lovely. Sweet Parry. I hope you’re ok my friend.

I seriously have no idea why I bother even trying to move my body at all. I was getting ready for bed and the dog was making it clear he had to go out. So I went downstairs the same way I do every night, every day. Except this time. DH wanted to dry out the dishwasher because we washed a lot of Tupperware. He opened it to get the Tupperware to dry overnight. It wasn't pitch black, but I honestly would have no reason to look below. 🥺😔

I didn't know it was open and smashed my leg on the dishwasher door so hard I could barely walk. I thought my shin was broken. I was so upset. I didn't need another injury. I guess he figured someone would close it by then. He had left a few hours before. But damn. Come on people. I don't need things put into my way to hurt me. My leg is really hurting me again. My other rug burns haven't even healed yet and since I have a compromised immune system. My wounds take a little longer but these are directly on my knee. As soon as I bend my legs. They crack. It's a mess. But this one really made me so upset because it shouldn't have happened. I. Could have again broken something serious. 🥺💔 I'm falling apart and my shin is throbbing. Ugh! Walk safely tonight ladies.

Mae hope. You're ok and the burn is ok!!

We're a team for sure. Love you Gracie
