Have we talked about taking NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) in relation to cancer? Just found out it's suppose to be beneficial for stopping OCD. It's a powerful anti-oxidant.

    Thanks

Snooky: I tooke it for a while, isn't cheap here. I think Frisky is taking it. OCD is obsesive compulsive disorder? Bach flower esences can help you with that. If you don't have a therapist you can pm me and tell me your symptoms and I will tell you wich formula you can order in the drugstore. I'm a Bach flowers therapist

Sonia the 1kilo packaging of FZ made laugh out loud...I see you're prepared for the long haul...good for you!

By taking 2g I'm now going through my supplies rather quickly....the 1K might come handy fairly soon.

Snooky be careful with NAC, I do take it but not assiduously, if I remember correctly in the Jane McLellan book, she says that gluthatione and NAC interfered with the oxidative process necessary to kill cancer cells. but I forgot what the exact mechanism was, maybe Santa can explain it better.

I don't know much about OCD

Hi ladies, sorry to intrude on stage 4 forum, but due to my high risk, I'm always looking out for new therapies or supplements to add to my already long list to try or cycle through. I've been looking on amazon with little luck, it might be that Canadian amazon is more limited. Where else can I buy this?

Sonia, I LOLed at that image too! Where did you find that

    Santa,

I finally got through all the prior posts on this thread and saw you went to Dr Block. I just finished reading his book. Was the fee they charged just for the plan they initially put together for you or are they still working with your integrative ONC?

It was $ 1800 to send hm my medical recods and have a 4-part phone consult. Very reasonable for the help I got.

I found it in a racehorses vet. Can you believe it is cheaper than Panacur 500 mg 10 pills?

Now I have FZ for me, for my pets and for all the homeless cats and dogs in the neighborhood! LOL

be careful it does not have parabens or whatever else one is supposed to watch out for...

    erento Member Posts: 187

Oh horses, I found one for goats on amazon! I guess as long as it’s Fenben it should be ok. And yes, good idea to check non medicinal ingredients as well.

It only says 10% fenbendazole, excipients supplementary amount ...?

I could't find anywhere which ingredients contain that "supplementary amount" ☹

Sonia, honey, I'm sorry to be the barer of bad news BUT, on Joe's group they say use only the FenBen for Dogs Cats or Fish. The one for farm animals does have parabens. NOW I don't know this is factual, I just know what that group says.

Thank you for kind offer of help with my OCD. I will be pm'ing you.

Eren, No not the one for goats.

Frisky Yeah, I knew there was something about NAC that I had forgotten. I took it two years ago but then stopped because of something that I had read. (can't remember what or where I read it!) OCD is what caused Howard Hughes slow decline from greatness (the Spruce Goose) to living all alone in a room terrified of everything. His issue was mostly germ obsession..

I recently found out that you can have compulsions due to the things that your subconscience (sp) is thinking. years ago, my drs said OCD was the cause of my depressions and panic attacks.. But they don't know how to cure it.. So more anti-depresents.

ErenTo, you can buy liquid panacur from Pets Drug Mart online in Canada. Its fairly reasonably priced. The powdered version from the States is really overpriced when I found it online. Like $19 a package plus shipping.

  • erento
    erento Member Posts: 187

Thank you, Husband! Will check. Yes, with US online sellers it can get pricey, esp. with our exchange rate.

  • husband11
    husband11 Member Posts: 1,287

It looks like most if not all the liquid versions contain parabens as a preservative. According to Wikipedia, parabens do have estrogenic properties, however at an order of magnitude of 1 /100,000th as estrogen. Not sure what to think of that. Scientifically thinking, in the scheme of things, it should be a negligible effect. Especially if the fenben works against breast cancer.

You can buy fenben powder from some countries like Turkey on ebay, but my level of trust of what you are getting is rather low. I'd much rather have something made by Merk pharmaceuticals.

    I'm thinking of these https://www.petsdrugmart.ca/en/Product/Panacur-Granule-Single-Packets-1852082,1852086,1852084/3584

Still cheaper than if we buy them from a US-based store.

That's a great find ErenTo. I am going to order 10 packets of the 4.5 gram. That should last 105 days at 3 on 4 off.

HUSBAND11: What you have posted about parabens is very interesting. I have read that parabens taken orally are less harmful than those absorbed through the skin, since they are metabolized and eliminated more easily. I'll phone lab and ask about parabens amount in they products.

Snooky ans Santa: Thank you for the warning!

Goldie: I'm thinking about you and your sweet DD today...

Sorting out the risk on some of these things, like parabens is a nightmare, and a total guessing game.

Thank you for finding the website, Husband! Yes, it's a great deal, I also ordered 6 x 4.5 grams. Not sure how I'll take it yet.

I found one at a good price, but it says "controlled release" pills. Will it work?

  • husband11
    husband11 Member Posts: 1,287

It's hard to say what effect controlled release pills might have. Most animals that are going to be prescribed fenbendazole have very different digestive systems to humans. From what I've read, % of absorption is low with fenbendazole, but varies greatly depending on species. The slow release might result or more or less being absorbed. And of course that will affect the equivalent dosage.

Is there any chance you can order it from Canada or US and have it mailed to you? At least you would be getting brand name and similar to what Joe used, so that you can compare apples with apples for dosage.

I found a seller from the Ukraine, selling 100 gram for $24 cdn and free shipping. But I'm sceptical about the quality.

as usual, husband is right Sonia...I strongly recommend you stick to the brand name and the type specified by Joe. Or ask the manufacturer is it's the same formula as Panacur-C.

The beauty of this protocol is that there's not much guess work, only an increase in amount if necessary. I would hate for any of us to go through all the trouble and not see amazing results....

However, if other folks on FB have seen results with the other variations, then...yeah...I guess saving money when possible is a great idea, but not at the cost of undermining one's outcome...

Husband, the Russian brand might be okay...Joe's did say that anyone can reproduce it because the patent has expired. As long as the formula is exactly the same as panacur-C

I will try to get Panacur again. It is not over-the-counter here, but I will try to buy it again without a prescription and without creating problems for the seller. I have no other option, I no longer trust other products. I think they are spying on my mercadolibre account ... every time I buy cbd, panacur or other things for cancer online, they were automatically removed it from the sale. Am I being paranoid?

Thank to God I had to buy my Euphorbia Turicalli just once, she is growing and seems not be afected by the 3 drops of latex that I take every day to drink

Yndorian, what do you think your customs would do if they examined a package coming to you from out of the country, and it contained fenbendazole? Would they allow it to pass through to you? I'm sure many out of country sources would send it, but would you receive it?

Most amazon / e-bay products do not ship to Argentina. It doesn't matter, I'll fix it. Thank you all!

    hola yndorian

Just to think I was in Buenos Aires and other argentinean places last April. I used to live there and I really wanted to share my fondness for the country with my partner and daughter so we went together. It was once a lifetime trip , I did not know back then about my ds but I felt I had to do things without delay... Now, back to business - if you do a search on what can one buy in the UK I can buy and send it for you. I bought mine from waitrose , ot was panacur for small animals of 4.5 g sachets. I am not sure what exactly the issue is with it for you so apologies if my suggestion is useless to you.

I tried to buy the nicely priced FZ from Canada and they don’t sell to the US. Might be worth going to Quebec for the weekend and getting a suitcase full of their FZ....amazon's prices are now much much higher...
