Goldie....Yes, I know what Brat diet is. Thanks. I've been living off graham crackers.

Meadows.....Oh, that's not good news. It's the fenben.

Just got back from drug store ….got the pink bismuth.

Plus, I got to thinking....when I started chemo I started buying bottled water so I could keep track of intake. Last week I did not pick any up. So for a week I've been drinking tap water after 6mos of bottled. That might have messed me up. So bought more bottled water.

So, I"ll see if I feel better tonight.

    Thanks girls

Snooky: how are you feeling today? My MO told me that chemo makes our digestive system like that of a newborn baby, it takes time for cells to recover. I hope you are better today and can eat something tasty and nutritious. HUGS

First time I had that I was like What the HECK?!?!?! ha ha ha I had no idea it can turn stool so dark .

    Snooky: good article!

Somebody posted this in Joe's facebook:

Snooky, were you getting dexamethasone along with your taxol? Is it possible that it was the cause of your stomach upset?

Anyway you won't have taxol anymore.

Thank you Sonia, Yes I think that was the steroid that they gave me! Thank You.

I've been exploring a couple of other possible avenues also.

    a) Taxol caused my blood sugar levels to drop into the 80's on my weekly blood draw. The only times it was higher was when I had eaten prior to doctor visits. This afternoon, I got to thinking that maybe since this past week sice my appetite has been real off and I'm eating like a bird that possibly bl sugar was real low.. Went to store and got some sweets. I really think that helped me feel better. On Webmed there were 15 systoms of low bl sugar and I had them all except seizures.. So, that might have something to do with it.

Then just about an hour ago I remembered that Taxol had caused my bl pressure to rise. I had high bl pressure In the past but after losing weight and changing diet I got it under control and was able to go off the medicine.

But then, this past Mon. I had an appt with my primary doctor. She put me back on a bl pressure medicine. Looked up the side of it just a bit ago. Reads like a horror novel! Going off that stuff.

So it's probably not just one thing.

One thing for sure, I'm not stopping Fenben

Snooky...I have been living without BP medications, although, at times my BP has gonne up high. I naturally lower it by increasing the consumption of potassium rich foods. It takes a few days, but eventually it comes down.

Great detective work you’re doing. I’m sure it will pay off and you’ll feel better soon.

Snooky, I too hope you feel better soon. I guess you could look at as you are starving the cancer! I would love to do a lemon water day, once a week, however, my FU pills won't allow it as you have to eat to take it. Had to chuckle at all the meds you have or had and the SE's but the only one you keep is the FZ.

Sonia, so beautiful you are. Is that your son?

We are heading out tomorrow to Moab UT, back on Thursday. I should be able to check in with you fine ladies/friends. I am on my week off of FU pills starting tomorrow and tomorrow will be my last day of antibiotic. No pills for 6 days, yippie ki aye! And I can get back to my FZ. I forget who is having scans tomorrow, but believe it's Snooky or Frisky and the other is having scans later in the week? Is my pea/chemo brain working right?

Potassium.....Another clue. THANK YOU Frisky! For awhile, In last few weeks I'd been craving banana's. So I'd been eating two or three a day. Craving went away and I stopped eating them. I had no idea that potassium was connected to high Bl pressure. So I went to dr axe to read up on electrolytes. Damn chemotherapy DOES mess with electrolytes.

Went to my medical portal. My potassium is low, my calcium is low and recently chloride is low. WHY do the Onc's run these tests and then not tell you what to do about it?

So, I'll work on cleaning up that mess too. (should have went to medical school!)

But I do know that last few weeks my diet has been lousy..just too tired to care. But I'm going to put one foot in front of another and get back on track.

One piece of good results, this morning is first time in days that I have awoke with no foggy brain. Yeah

Goldie, Frisky has a Pet on Mon. and mine will be scheduled for sometime this week! Have a great get awhile and if at all leave cancer at home.

    This is a great group

    HUGS

In an earlier post, I said I'd get back to you on Beta Gluten. There are a couple of vidoes on the net that the manufacturer explains why this works so well, how he developed it etc. Due to price, I never ordered it. But, money be damed!

    ====================

It doesn't say on the label but this is Transfer Point Beta Glucan. I'm going to manufacturer's website and check out price there also.

Well guess I messed up that paste job. This is from Amazon and the price is $74.00 Read the reviews.Transfer Point Beta-1 3-D Glucan 500mg - 60 caps

Ok this is the 2nd time I have to edit this....lol

Hi Snooky quick question...on page 5 in this thread you mention that Lifeextension has soy? When I looked up Life Extension Vit E there is no indication that it contains soy. Then in the questions & answer section for the product on amazon it says by 1 reviewer it has soy but then in another part 3 reviewers say it does not. Here is a pic of the actual label:

    image

I do not see soy anywhere? How did you know it contains soy?

    Thanks Nicole

I've asked myself the same question.

It's obvious that they are uneducated on how to fix the damages their medications create. First, they really don't know, second, by acknowledging them, they would expose themselves to possible lawsuits.

Think about this: these medications mess up our bloodwork and lower our platelets, and that's a major reason why they can't treat us anymore. Platelets are too low...if this wasn't so tragic, it would be comical.

Everything they learn in school is so specialized, they wouldn't know how to even look after their own health. Also, because of the own dismal survival statistics, fixing the inevitable probably seems redundant. Sorry for my cynicism, but I'm just being honest about my own experiences so far..

Snooky, the beta glucans you've ordered are a very good choice. After I clear my body from the PET tracer, I'll start taking the Maitake 4x that Husband has been recommending. I still take turkey tails mushrooms to take as well and they all have various beta glucans.

Goldie, have a peaceful and relaxing, healing vacation!

My two days in the country have been fabulously relaxing...but they're coming to an end....

Sonia, that's another great photo of you and your son! I'm so happy for you

Thank you for your compliments about my avatar. It is an old picture. Yes, Goldie, he's my son. Now he is 21 y.o. I guess I get nostalgic for what won't come back. The last few days have not been emotionally good for me. Wathever

Ladies, squeeze your weekend to the last drop, and relax. A busy week is coming. HUGS

Frisky, thanks for the thumbs up on my Beta glucan choice. Means a lot cause of your experience in this area.

Sonia, so sorry about your emotional roller coaster. Hang in there. I second about great avatar.

Nicole, Went to page 5 and could not find the reference you mentioned. But then again, I just woke up from a wonderful deep nap. I don't remember talking about soy in relation to the Vit E you are showing. And I hope the product does not contain soy as it's the one I am also taking! This Is the one Joe recommends, so you're good.

Also I was about to order the Life Extensions Gamma E and found out that it also has some soy in it so I did a quick search for a soy-free full spectrum vit E and found a product called Rootcology soy-free full spectrum Vitamin E. "

we need to check this out if we're E+...…..also Soy is not good for us.

Yes,Mioamix,, I too tried coffee enemas. I had a lot of trouble doing it alone. I quit them. For liver MilkTHistle is the supplement that I take. However, I did my favorite Epson salt fluses last night and feel a lot better this am.

It was what you snipped from Joe's page but you wrote we need to check this out if we're E+... So I was thinking since I didn't see a post after that saying it doesn't contain soy that you still thought maybe it did.

Since you are taking it and I didn't see anywhere on the label that it has soy I guess that person is wrong. :)

Your memory is precise. The study results stated that only the Fenben treated with Vit E was effective against tumors in mice, not when taken alone:

"...Neither diet supplemented with vitamins alone nor fenbendazole alone caused altered tumor growth as compared with that of controls. However, the group supplemented with both vitamins and fenbendazole exhibited significant inhibition of tumor growth. The mechanism for this synergy is unknown and deserves further investigation"

    Hi Snooky,

Just wanted to let people know about something that happened today. On July 3rd, I ordered Fenben from Amazon, same as my past orders, at $14.99 for the three 4-gram packets. Today I went into my orders list just like before to tr-order the same thing, and the price for the same Amazon fullfilment/prime shipping is listed as $18.04! This is considerable increase. Luckily they have it listed from "other sellers" two of which are still offering it for around $15 and free shipping, but just not prime shipping.

Snooky, thank you for your words. I guess it would take me a while to adapt to the "new normal"

Nicole, I think you can find vitamin E pills extracted from rice, or oat. Someone on Joe's Facebook mentioned that he takes palm oil to get his vitamin E from a natural source. You can also eat a lot of seeds, avocado oil, wheat germ. I take a regular vitamin E because it is the only one I can get, but I eat a lot of seeds.

Based on what that person wrote from the snippet that Snooky posted...I am wondering also about if others with Hormone positive breast cancer that are doing this protocol are going to use the Fenben that has parabens, if they don't use those and they use the Fish one for example like the person in the post used does that work the same?

  • snooky1954
    snooky1954 Member Posts: 850

Nichole...…..We later found out the only Fenben with paraben in it is those sold by vets for farm animals. The ones sold for dogs, cat and fish are ok. There is no soy Nichole.

Sorry for the mix up on my post. That in the very beginning of our information gathering journey before any of us had started the protocol and we were just posting anything that we found. Guess some of it might not make sense now. We've come a long way since those uncertainties. Guess you have to read the whole thread to see were we worked out all the questions that we had at the beginning.

Yeah, Seven, that's happened to me too. The price never seems to be the same.

Dear All, I found FenBen story just this past week but we consider all the options, this one too. My wife Sandra had mastectomy on the 22nd, she heals well but doctors still keep her in hospital. We'll see what next scans (beginning of September, I suppose) will tell. Just please know that we follow you and that we wish you be c-free soon. Dear Frisky, all the best for your today's scans! Fingers crossed! Sincerely, Saulius

Yea Nichole the beginning of the thread is all over the place, I agree. As the thread moved along, we worked out our questions.

It might be real helpful for you to read and re-read Joe Tippens blog. He has It all worked out on what worked for him. His blog tells you exactly what to take. (what he took)

Plus join his FB web page the posters on there are helpful, encouraging , plus there are stories of successes. It greatly built up my confidence in this protocol.

Well, I'm off to destress for awhile (prayer and medication) as I have an ONC appt early this a.m . I have lots of questions this time and I want to be on my A-game.

Snooky, I take the same Gamma E. Looks like we have determined it safe and no soy. Good luck at your appt. today. Does your MO know about the FZ?

Frisky, good luck to you today as well with your scans. What all scans do you get? My MO does Nuclear bone, and CT w/wo contrast.

Sonia, my kids are 35 and 40 and bring that beautiful self of yours out of that rabbit hole, it's not a good place to be.

No get away for me today. We had an issue having to do with our business. Had a container of product arrive in CA beginning of July, just got it last week and half of the product is missing. A product that we have at least 40 customers waiting for. Well, it was found, but still in CA. So we can't leave if a truck is expected to deliver. Today is suppposed to be my last day of antibiotic, 2 pills left. Thinking of taking one when I eat and pitching the last one. I have been feeling well, no ups and downs with fever. So I think the E coli is gone! Man, what a ride that was. In the last 10 years if have probably only been sick 3 times, just cold or flu bug, but to be sick for 2 months, holy cow. Also going back on FZ today, Gamma E, Milk Thistle and CBD oil.
