absolutely true!My thinking about DT's having Covid being possibly a sham, besides what I wrote earlier, is that either way the guy is hog-tied. Upcoming events he'd planned, like going to Wisconsin even though the governor was asking him to please NOT do so, along with others during this crucial time are stopped in their tracks. He still must abide by the health rules and quarantine himself.
And even though he will most likely be giving virtual rallies via TV, the "basement" way is not his way. He put down Biden for going virtual because he's gotta be in-person-- up there lurching his huge self about, hands not just holding the podium but keeping him erect, swinging his stiff-upper-body to the right and then veering to the left in his grandiose "I am bigger than Life!" way, spewing out garbage as he flings his droplets all over creation.
Thank God Biden was quite a few feet away from him during the debate! Trump's non-stop explosive speech wafts everything in his mouth out into the vast unknown, to land on poor unsuspecting idiots who clamor to just touch his person. I wonder how many innocent but stupid folks have picked up Covid from him in the past few days??
Our local Fox news station was just showing Mark Meadows and he was waxing very avuncular and all-knowing, going on along the lines of how, well, this is one tough disease and it can strike down anybody and blah, blah, blah--and I wanted to shout at him "Yeah, and it didn't help that the leader of the country's a fucking gasbag jackass who's downplayed it from the get-go!"

Here is another thing that I read on Truth-out to consider -- several of the places for Trump to go as he was going to rallies were the mini-rallies were he raises money. That seems to have been in really short supply as of late with so many of the swing state ads being dropped just as money came pouring in for BIDEN. I think we likely have all heard that Trump personally has money woes and his campaign/RNC has very bad ones as well. They have a lawsuit pertaining to Parscale who is said to have stolen $40,000,000 from them -- so big money issues make me feel like would Trump really " quit " for a couple of weeks. He also tends to exaggerate as well -- so will he be super sick and saying he has mild symptoms or what. I think he would have to keep raising money -- then again, I think those people in New Jersey ( donors ) surely aren't happy with the idea that he showed up knowing he might be a one-man super spreader. I would think that is guaranteed to make any donor stop and think before writing out as check.

I would imagine there are a lot of Republican politicians who would stand in line to pull the plug if Trump was in ICU. There is no love for Trump from them, just fear for their careers. Trump out of office would be a blessing for them all...
I thought of a rather humorous conclusion to this. What if the rebups use Trumps illness to declare him unfit to act as president? Would be quite funny if Trump is indeed faking it, and proving he is unfit for office is a piece of cake.

Wow, Major Garrett of CBS just slammed the White House and DT for not having any press-type briefings to let America know what's going on...details of DT's condition....like we got after 9/11...just silence and room for speculation....another gross failure of leadership from His Majesty...am sure our enemies are thinking about things in this vacuum....

My brother spent lots of time at Walter Reed after being wounded in Vietnam...a great hospital....lots of military there...DT should feel right at home....

Yeah, I was raised not to indulge in all that, Laurence Tribe. But this man is NOT like other people. I wish that his wife gets over this quickly but I don't care about this man and can't be hypocritical and say that I do. He's inflicted every type of pain and angst and suffering and humiliation and despair and misery on too many innocent and trusting Americans over the past nine months in the way he has handled and not handled this pandemic and treated the science and medical world that have been having to deal with it.
Maybe this illness will inspire in him an epiphanic moment, a revelation as to his weaknesses and flaws . . . .
But I doubt it.

Tonight's news which I'm getting ready to watch should be good. Once more, like it or not, Drumph steals the spotlight. I do think for him to voluntarily go to the hospital ( he was dressed in usual suit and tie walking to helicopter to be air-lifted to Walter Reed ) was perhaps a sure sign that he was possibly a lot sicker than anyone was letting on. My notes say -- fever, chills, congestion, and a cough. At least he had a mask on as he walked out to the helicopter.
Likely it was a struggle but as he had people lie all day about his mild case, he was nearly forced to put on his "show". My notes also say that he has more symptoms than 80 % of the people that have covid though some of his aids thought he was seemingly not well on Wednesday. Hope Hicks said she wasn't the one who brought it into the WH -- maybe that means it was Trump.
Perhaps it is a good thing to put off the Barrett hearings since it is not so clear who would be available to see her and then do the hearings. Who knows how many of the Congress people are going to end up with covid or not.
Is the House of Cards starting an unrecoverable tumble ?
I would say prayers and good luck but actually I really don't much care were I to be honest. I care for our government and our country and the good and decent patriots and the Constitution, but others like the Trumps and the enablers - they are definitely a thorn in the side and the sooner they are gone the better. If gone due to covid, so be it. It might be quite fitting.
