The lady with the fun on her hip looks ridiculous. Also pretty in-secure. It is just beyond my ability to totally comprehend. Then again -- I have always felt comfortable blending in more so and feel little need to DISPLAY who I am in such a way. The insanity of some of the gun people is amazing. The Reps. basically are adrift and I'm not holding out a lot of hope that they find their way. They would have to confront their own insanities. Sounds difficult to say the least.

Some people find out. They find out too late, but obviously it hits home pretty hard when they GET it. Of course, the Proud Boys are not up-standing citizens so I can't be too upset for them, but it would be nice if MORE people could get it -- mainly those who may never be in the Proud Boy situation. Really, all you have to do it look at what Trump does ( as Rachel Maddow use to always say ) not what he says to see how much ( if your able to tap into your common sense ) you are going to lose if you stick yourself to the other orange one.

Do I feel sorry for the above Proud Boy? Not in this lifetime. I do think by the time you are an adult you should be able to realize that each decision has a potential consequence. Some of the consequences are good but in many cases poor decisions lead to poor outcomes. Choosing to blindly follow an immoral, illogical racist and misogynist was not a good choice then or now that he has to face the consequences of idolatry and cultism. Too bad so many others will not be "woke" to their continued following of this man including McCarthy, Graham, Cruz and Moscow Mitch.
Although I would never vote for Liz Cheney, I do admire her for sticking to her guns and not falling into the trump trap. She has more balls and guts than any of the male counterparts who voted her out of her leadership position. Karma is a bitch and it will exact its toll later.

Thanks, Divine. It's a shame the Repugnicans have not yet reached maturity nor adulthood. If I was their mother, there would damn well be consequences (not corporal) for most of their unsuitable behaviors. Timeouts might not be a bad idea especially if they were made to watch the January 6's shenanigans on a neverending loop. This recent profession that they looked like normal tourists made me want to vomit. I have visited DC and never took anything to deface public property along or assaulted any security people. We did visit the Jefferson Memorial and when my friend disclosed she did not realize there was anything in the building, I started to laugh and so did she. We laughed so hard the guard did come over to ask us to share the moment with him and when we did, he laughed as well. He just needed a break from the tedium and we were glad to be able to make his day.
They have written revisionist history before and looks like they are at it again. Some of the older history textbooks written in the South professed they won the Civil War. They need to go.

I guess, as I have been reading, that the Reps. are, since watching all the " total cheating and dis and mis-information of the orange one Jan 6. ", going to lie and cheat by just forging ahead with the lie of making their side accept the idea that Jan 6th. was not the horror show it was, and at the same time change as many laws in as many states as they can because they now accept the Trump way of winning -- which is roughly just completely fraudulent.
They know for sure they will not win in the "normal" fashion that elections happen so taking cues and lessons from the Orange one ( who disgusts most of them though they won't let that come out ) they are going to embrace THE BIG LIE full stop. I'm just hoping that what they are doing does not bear the fruit. I do know one thing -- the majority of those people need to be gotten out of government. They are going the wrong way and having others ( newly elected for sure ) follow suit needs cut off quick.

Just often amazing what the Reps. party has devolved into. I did read that many people could miss what they are up too simply because they are white and in the end, we ( not meaning anyone here ) tend to give very heavy benefit of the doubt to our own color/race. I do though think some of these people are VERY awfully transparent and I do hope that part helps people catch on.

CONCORD, NH—Local libertarian man Bernard Paulson hasn't worn a mask the entire pandemic, saying that it's his constitutional right to go where he wants, sneeze when he wants, and lick any doorknob he so pleases. But now, the CDC has eased up on mask guidelines and says they aren't required for many situations. Paulson, wanting to show his rebelliousness and love for liberty, quickly bought a box of masks from his liberal neighbor and started wearing them everywhere he went.
"What right does the government have to tell me not to wear a mask? You know what, I'm going to wear a mask forever. How about that? Whatchya gonna do now, big, bad, federal government? Are you gonna come and try to take my guns now? Huh? HUH!?" Paulson said. "Yeah, I don't know, man, I just work here," an uncomfortable Target employee replied. "Can I, like, help you find something, or do you want to speak to a manager or anything like that?"
Paulson yelled something about being detained and departed, driving to his shelter to hide underground as long as possible, as he'd heard the government say it was now OK to go outside.

I had read about the man who murdered his wif and then voted in her name for Trump. The one voter fraud in my county was also a man who used his dead mother's mail-in ballot to vote for Trump. So in my book, the voter fraud so far has only beenby Republicans for him. So perhaps the push to limit voter fraud will backfire. It looks like from these recent findings, he lost by 7 millon and 2 votes (and maybe counting?)!

Libertarians -- Blue girl that is so true. Whatever pushes back on Pres. Biden and the Democrats and things that are universally good and decent for all. I also so hope you are right Betrayal. The Reps. are going backwards as hard as they can and seem extremely incompetent of viewing from our side at all. Then again, when you ignore any news from the left you get a picture that is far, far from the truth. No one at this point ( other than Reps. ) will gain if they go backwards and that is an awful lot of people who will be denied.
I do feel some concern that there is a lot o leeway being given to the rt. and this need for bi-partisanship after McConnel clearly stated there would be none. Then too I know that one can't do as needed until an attempt has been made to see if partisanship can change. So, I do hope that we have enough things to do to keep making headway. I feel like the Reps. are just going to totally wither ( I sure hope ) if they keep up this harsh denial of millions of voters who x-ed the other guy out soundly.

I think there is this, but I also think there are plenty of people in the other party who don't know quite how to make their desires bear good fruit. Like McCarthy getting rid of Cheney. No angel, but the blatant adoration of the other guy is so in the face for someone who has lost everything for you.
