Jackie, I love all your memes, especially “I’ve felon and I can’t get up!” Lol. I told dh that’s how I’m referring to Don from now on. I used to call him “the pussy president” but now I will say “convicted felon Trump”. Because he is.
And I agree with you 110% that District Attorney Alvin Bragg deserves our respect, recognition, and appreciation!!! Thank you, Mr. Alvin Bragg!!!

Also, my sympathy to the Obamas, particularly Michelle, for the loss of her mother. Marian Robinson was 86 years young.

mavericksmom, thanks for mentioning Marion Robinson’s passing. I read Michele Obama’s autobiography and absolutely fell in love with Marion. She was 100% class. Here’s one of my favorite stories about her:
"Over those eight years, she made great friends with the ushers and butlers, the folks who make the White House a home. She'd often sneak outside the gates to buy greeting cards at CVS, and sometimes another customer might recognize her. 'You look like Michelle's mother,' they'd say. She'd smile and reply, 'Oh, I get that a lot,'"

I read Michelle's biography too & her mom was amazing. Tough, down to earth, and a wonderful Grandmother-in-Chief to the girls when the Obamas were involved in all their White House responsibilities.

So, perfect Grandmother, mother. You know the Obama girls would turn out just fine if you really look at how Michele turned out. All the WH Obama's were special people and we are so fortunate we got to share life with them and their children for 8 years. In hindsight — they sure went fast.
ETA: forgot to mention how much I enjoyed the Marian story you shared Divine. I had the autobiography and loaned it to a friend who did not return it — so I'll maybe have to repurchase it.

Divine, your memes are great. I too am very taken though with the Cree one. Our family is Cherokee (although down to 1/8th. for me) but I'm almost never too far out of agreement with how Indian tribes thought about the earth and their homes and life.

I wrote to my Representative today and asked: Can Trump have the nuclear codes if he can't even own a gun due to his felonies? That doesn't make sense, but then the entire GOP doesn't make sense!
