Oreo came to love his little sister. Henry did not......every day he would lurk behind the door and give her a whack when she went out. She caught onto his trick and would jump right over him, which made him even crabbier!

Oh Ruth, how adorable, Oreo and his new little sister. I love how some cats can take to the new little ones and become their snuggle-bunny. Such a short time you had with her, I'm sorry. But like you so beautifully expressed, she came at the right time, and was there for you in the season when you needed her and she needed you too. Then her spirit went on to help someone else. I'm sure that's where Pumpkin went too. Ok here come the waterworks again, honestly we are such softies!!!

Smaarty, wow your Parker has quite the long tail, beautiful cats and you'd swear they were a twin!

Panthrah, your Willow is like our Sweetpea, always four legs in the air, we call it the "t*ts up" pose :)

Bibby I see you posted another classic pose, don't have a name for that one yet. But I will see if I can find a photo of a cat we used to have called Nicademus who sat the same way lol!

Ruthbru, Angels don't necessarily look human. I agree.

Bippy here is the promised photo of Nicademus in his classic pose... as taken over 10 years ago. He was such a card and very lovable. He lived well into his senior years with us :))

    image

Here he looks more dignified in the circle of a lasso rope

    image

And he and our dog "Joey" got along great, a mutually loving relationship.

So FeelingFeline, according to the wisdom you posted previously, because I also have a dog with a multitude of cats I am classified as an "animal lover" and not just a "crazy cat lady" lol!!

Ruthbru and Donna Dew it is so hard to lose them old and even harder to lose them young XXX

CowGirl RIP beautiful Baby. She looks like she has found a place in the sun that day.

Nicodemus ThumbsUpThumbsUpThumbsUp - What a wonderful cat and what a wonderful name Donna Dew, it seems to suit him perfectly.

    So many lovely kitties.

We had a special treat tonight. Cream puffs from Beard Papa's (Japanese store) Our old puss decided he could fit in the box since he didn't indulge.

FeelingFeline, yes Nicademus had a name that suited him well. He was quite the lap cat too, but he found Scrabble to be a little boring...

Cowgirl, your Baby looks like such a sweetie pie, I know how you miss her.

Rose it looks like Jack could be full of vim and vinegar from time to time, this is obviously one of his lovey moments lol!

KT is that Percy in the box? A handsome ham he is.

It must be in their genes to try to fit into tight spots. This is where I caught Lily one day, I took the pic and she seemed none too phased. Then got a close-up. That basket remains on the table top now years later. So funny, she has never been found in that basket since, thankfully.... cats!

I love all the close up pics.

Donna, Nicodemus looks like such a character. I love the pic of him with the dog & falling asleep at scrabble :)

Yes that is Percy in the small box, and he is big...

And some of those poses aren't very dignified ;) like the sitting up with tummies on display. I wonder if they know how silly they look. I guess not as they do like to be dignified most of the time..,.

Sometimes, and only sometimes, like when I stay out all night partying, I sleep in my mommy's arms. But let's not tell anyone.

Looks like Binx and Dusty been partying!

Lily likes her brandy on occasion...

    image

But Nicademus was strictly a beer kinda guy...

    image

Thank goodness in his later years Nicodemus became a teetotaler... or should I say "tea" totaller...

    I miss you Nic buddy
