Having Sue here for 3 nights just had me ecstatic! We had soooooo much fun, I am still in awe that she wanted to come and stay with me, and what a guest! This gal would cook, do dishes, and even helped mese wash me floor when I spilled sugar water all over it. I had filled a hummingbird feeder and the bottom wasn’t on all the way, and it splattered EVERYWHERE! Anyways, Ms Suzy would go and sit on the steps of mese porch, which of course is doyty and her bum was always brown from that, so mese wuz calling her lil doyty butt. And the meals and salads she fixed I just loved. We pretty much kept Stella in the bedroom cuz she was too stanky!

I have to go down and visit with my lil buddy, who is up here for the weekend. His mom wanted him to come up, he said he wanted to do Easter Eggs but wouldn’t go unless Wori came over!!!! He is so cute, I jes love him.

Cyn, I do have Annie for Easter. (Kinda surprised me that her mom didn't want her for the holiday.) Im happy to take her any time so works for me. So... I need to go out and finish buying her Easter outfit.
I blew too much $ at damn casino yesterday. Too bad it's so close!! I got off early and wanted to blow off some steam. First big payday again. Now it's not so big :-/ ha!
Ha...yes, my nips are back on Cami. They took em off and scraped all breast tissue from the back. He used a circle electrode pad they use to monitor heart to measure the new nip. I was laughing when he stuck them on to trace because they have the silver thing in the center protruding from them. I am fortunate I was able to keep them and my skin and that they lived.

Good Morning world travelors ad everyone else.
I love those pics. Lori u 2 are so bootifu and happy and u didn't do all the cooking? hahha what a wonderful guest. I love that all of u had face to face and Bernie and Kat u put a lot into a days visit. I'm so happy u all had a good time. Kat I hope it's not a cold, but if it is u got started knocking it out right away. But with all of that traveling I don't know how u can not be jet lagged. And u gals have good DH too so u r blessed in so many ways.I'm actually smiling fromm ear to ear right now I'm just so happy Oh and I am so furcited Adey and I are planning lunch Wed. everyone keep u'r fingers crossed I'm anxious to meet Adey, and have a really nice visit with her. First time. So we're all starting the springtime with new adventures.
And now that we have someone with famous nips we'll have more to celebrate, unbeievable Becks.
Dork are u and u'r mom doing OK. I hope u'r dad is coming around so everyone stays together and u are a wonderful dgtr. This is the hardest part about being a dgtr for our parents--I think.

NM I knew there was something I forgot----I love cold pizza and coffee in the morning--I don't know how true this is now but years ago they would say it's a better breakfast for kids than sugar coated ceral. hahaha--we even had it as kids, it was homemade but it was great.

Oooohhhhhh so hoping that you are able to meet up with Adey for lunch on Wednesday, Cami! How awesome! Bernie and I had a FULL 24+hrs...we arrived at about 11:45 on Wed and left on the train at about 1:45 on Thurs...toooo short though, but amazing time. And she and her DH did not let us lift a finger....they cooked, washed dishes, etc....boy did they spoil us!

To Paris and Prague...cancelled our flt from NY to ATL and had us arriving from Prague in the afternoon at JFK and not leaving out till 6 or 7 the next ayem. Dumb Delta! Esp since my parents will be with us on that trip, so I had to find new flts and give them heck about it and was on the phone forever yest straightening it out. So today trying to catchup on other chit...

Who is partying??? We went for Pau Hana at my parents and now my dad is ready for another trip, but I have too much planned till mid June....yikes! But they looked really good, and I think getting my mom off that one med before we left has given her more energy. My dad is using that Nordic Trac recumbent bike 2x a day and already it is helping him with better mobility! Amazing.Ok....gonna give a big toast to all you lovely ladies...all across the world...not just the US gals, but Ireland Bernie and Aussie ChrissyB, and those Canadian gals that used to be in the lounge too....just a big CHEERS to you all! I just love how the internet brings us all together.....

Good morning, Loungettes! Lovely sunny ayem this Easter morn. I hope next year I'm not so tired that I can't get up for a sunrise service somewhere. But I am looking forward to a get together with a bunch of old friends this evening. Gonna be a good time!
ORLA--people's bodies change after surgery (duh, like we don't already know that) sometimes in very subtle ways that create funky reactions to normal things. Sounds like your ex needs to be told to eff-off and get a life of his own without you. I hope you are ignoring him. Nothing irritates a self-centered egotist more than being ignored!

Wahine--I am so glad you had a good time with Bernie!!!! Being cold wasn't fun, but the rest sounds great! It used to be that catheters would be put in people for the convenience of the staff, but nowadays there has to be a certain diagnosis made before that can be done. It's a bit unfortunate that nursing homes have been put into such a tight corner since using a catheter can also help clear up bed sores and skin problems in that area. Juliet is right about checking for residual urine, most nursing homes have that machine in them and it truly only takes a minute to do.
Goldie--yesterday was an easy one for me as far as work goes, for which I am thankful. I was so tired that I came home and fell asleep in the recliner as soon as I was done. Not sure why I'm so tired all the time, hope this passes over soon.
CynCyn--I'm going to cook a ham, too, but tomorrow instead of today. Meeting friends at a Mexican Restaurant for dinner tonight.

Nibbles Cotton Tail's DOTD is the Easter Bunny
1 1/2 oz dark creme de cacao
1/2 oz vodka
1 tsp chocolate syrup
1 tsp cherry brandy
Shake creme de cacao and vodka with ice. Strain over ice in an old-fashioned glass. Float chocolate syrup and cherry brandy.
