OH CHIT!!!! I just got home been gone all day and till late tonight. AND NOW TO FIND OUT THAT OUR DOTTY IS IN THE HOSPITAL!!!! NO!!! It can't be....WTF????? Cannot believe they were not treating you for that horrid infection, SO GLAD that ER Dr called you today. OMG, this is awful. YES dearie, starting to pray for you right now. You have my number if you want to talk. I am here. I can imagine you will be busy though while they get you admitted and everything set up. This is just too awful, on top of all you have been going through. You know we are all here for you dear, and I wish there was something we could do. Prayers work wonders though, and they are surely going out for you right now. Please keep updating us on how you are doing, ok?

ON a happier note, I had the best time at Oktoberfest with my g'dau tonight...turns out she likes all the rides too like I do, so we just rode them all, over and over again....screaming and laughing so loud, it was fun. Till my head started spinning....then I let her ride this one tall scary ride by herself for 3 times, as I couldn't do it anymore, I had finally had my fill. We were there for 4 1/2 hrs, most of the time spent on rides, but part of that time was spent in the bier tent as it was RAINING. THen we just went out and got on the rides in the rain, heck. I was really surprised they were still running most of them. The ferris wheel had to shut down though, as there was lightning. No lines, its always so empty on opening night! Poor Dh had a horrid headache so all he rode with us was the bumper cars, then he had to spend the rest of the night in the car trying to rest his head.

OK, now to see if there are any more updates. Love you so much Dorothy, you need to get healed up quickliest!!!!!

Oh and Lara too, omg that sounds so painful, and not very good. When will you have the MRI? Your plate is so full right now with interviews, too. Hope you get that one you want!

Yay becks, for B9 chocolate sprinkle!!!

And Julie too, what happened to your eyes? Do you take Lutein? Jury is still out on it, but my DH had been taking it, and both our new eye dr and his retina specialist we saw recently, both recommended it. THey can't guarantee it will help your eye health, but they think it might. ANd you can get it at the drug store with the supplements and vitamins, about 20mg a day. Glad you ordered your new glasses. I finally saw the eye dr last month and haven't gone to look at glasses yet.

    Hugssssssssss to all,

    Kath

Oh as for getting numbers together. I had started it at one time, what was that, a yr or two ago? But then my life has been so hectic/crazy that I haven't been able to keep up with it. Some of you sent me your info, and I still have it, but if someone wants to update everyones info and keep up with it, that would be great!

Hope no more deaths from all that flooding, Karen. I haven't had the news on yet since I just got home. So horrible.

Kathy....if you want to send me the info you have and if the other gals will PM me their infor, I'll put it together and then get it to everyone....if I have everyone's email addy, I can do it in a word document and then it can easily be added to.....It will probably take me till next month to get it done, but it would be nice to have everyone's info......

Good morning, Loungettes!  Happy Friday!  TGIF!

Wahine--you are such a busy lady!  Do have a secret supply of No-Doz or something?  Hope you can find a good recipe for your mango munchies!  I heard about the molasses spill, caught a mention of it on the news. Didn't get the details, hope it clears out quickly.

Karen--Wow, hope you can stay relatively dry, at least!  And that you don't float away in your car!

    Juliet--Beautiful!

    Becs--HOORAY FOR B9!!!!!

ORLA--Wow, what a day for you!  Sounds like a great interview, but if your gut is warning you about something look into it deeper before you decide.  So the back pain isn't related to the pain treatment, it's it's own thing.  Not sure if that's good or bad, hope it can be treated and soon.  I have this bizarre mental picture of ivy covered brick buildings chasing you all around your house--the University Stalker sounds like a serial killer's nickname.

Congo, Congo!  Make sure the brakes on Doky's bed are off!

Cammy-- change is so hard, isn't it?

Karen--did you have the BRCA genetic testing done?  That would give you a good bit of info regarding your ongoing risks without needing to know the bio family medical history. All that rain, all that flooding, and so close to your house--SCARY!

DorKable--Oh, my dear, I so wish I was close enough to you to come and take care of you!  Yes, it most likely came from the hospital, it's the most commonly spread hospital based infection.  It like people with a compromised immune system.  Yes, it CAN cause gangrene, but doesn't always, and you have been on antibiotics and should be fine.  They will keep a close eye on you there.  And it is NOT your fault!

Dork this isn't u'r fault. I knew NM and Julie would know about this infection, Oh u must be in such pain, and they better be giving u something good for u'r pain and something better to clear it up. U poor girl--I hate that this is happening--There is nothing I can do for you but be here and I know that doesn't help much to be infection clear. Dork don't be scared they'll take even better care of u knowing exactly what it is and I'm glad u went to the hospital, so that in of itself to go right away is good for u'r treatment. U rest and recover that's first and whenever u can let us know how it is all going. We all love u Dork, u'r so special--Damn I would just stay there with u really--I do nothing but get in trouble here. Be well my love.

    Good Morning Girls,

Well today is the day I officially am one year older...Friday the 13th is usually a lucky day for me, but doesn't seem so lucky for our Dorkie. I couldn't get out of bed for the longest time, because I was praying so hard for you, Dora. Hope you do wonders today and then we can celebrate my bday and your "on the road to recovery" tonight in th HTL. How about that??? Really breaks my heart that you are having so many problems with these infections. AND that they were not treating you for THIS infection. Sounds like they may have to find the right antib to fight this. My mom called wishing me a happy birthday and wanting to do something with me today, whatever I wanted. Then my dad called and SANG Happy Birthday to me, it was real sweet, and surprising. I am still worn out from the gazillion rides last night, and screaming and laughing, and riding some of them in the rain. When we took our g'dau home, she asked her mom if they could take her back there tonight! She really had fun too.

Hoping for some good updates from our Dotty....I know we are all praying so hard for her, and sending healing thoughts her way. Hope you can feel the love surrounding you Dotty, like a big HTL hug! The Tenders look so sad today...they miss you too. Which one shall we send to the hospital to cheer you up? What's that? Say it louder, I couldn't hear you.... OH, you said you want ALL of them!!! OK, but I doubt I can name them all, will send you all I can name, ok? SO it will be Pants, Jock, Hunk, Chile Boy, Eric, Mr. Big, Mr. Bigger,.....oopsie my bwain is a year older too, remember that.....those are all I can think of, but will send them to you PRONTO. If any of the loungettes think of the others, we can send them too.

Hugs and Love to you all,

    Kathy

Kathy....yup....I looked on fb to see why I didn't get a notice that it was your b'day....so now I know when it really is....and why not celebrate a b'day as often as you can...especially when you are so young!!!!  Hope you birhday is everything you want it to be...how sweet of your Dad to sing to you and your mom to call you...Won't be able to celebrate with you tonight though....tonight starts Yom Kippur...the holiest day of the year...it is the day of atonement....and a fast day.....so nothing to eat or drink tonight or tomorrow....25+ hour fast....I miss my water the most.

    DorK.....sending you gentle hugs......

THANK YOU girls for all the nice birthday wishes! AND that lovely cake, Julie, yummmmm! And that lovely guy Julie, DOUBLE YUMMMM! Cami, thanks for thinking of me, but you can keep that guy you sent over! lol. You keep all the cute ones for yourself, I got that one figured out. LOL. Oh and those gals that sent cards and gifts, thank you so much also, that was so special of you all!

Didn't feel like a birthday today....except that DH made me his special whole wheat banana pancakes, plus made me a special Irish Coffee. THEN we were so worried about our furbaby Molly (The one that dx with heartworms on MOnday) as she was ravenous this ayem which she NEVER is. SO they fit her in this afternoon and did xrays, blood work (another $325!) and the vet says her heartworms are not at the emerg stage, but we can wait and start treatments in a month or two. WHEW. We were ready to cancel our trip, so this was a good thing. SO we might go out to dinner tomorrow night to celebrate instead of tonight....just sorta tired from all the stress....first with Dorkie (and still with Dorkie) and then with Molly. SO having a "happy hour" right now.....

Waiting to hear more from Dotty.....hoping she is doing better and they are giving her enough drugs to cure that infection and keep the pain level low!!!   AND hoping Lara is not in too much pain right now and can fixed up real quickly too!!!

    Big Birthday Hugssssssssssssssssssssss,

I'm checking in now and nothing about Dork?? Oh chit, I don't like that.

    Becs funny stuff. LMAO

Kat poor Molly I get so upset about our furbabies too.

BBBBernie that's so true, I miss my mind I used to be considered quirky, but people actually thought I was intelligent--either I fooled them and myself and I can no longer fool anyone or I struggle to remember or even think of the right word or things I used to know and really don't anymore. I'm lucky tho that I'm not working so no one depends on my mind so in a way it's not a big loss I guess, and not many people notice as much as I do---so it's realy a simple thing to loose probably.
