    Good Morning,
    Loungettes!How is everyone this
    ayem?

    Cammy--furbabies,
human babies, all are good to have around!

    Julie--how apt,
indeed.I will never look at the stars
    without a smile again!

    Goldie--Yes, the
request got "lost" again. So annoying. They really are trying to
force me to either stay with that department or at least do the "new
patient" visit so they can get the $$$$.Irritates me.Little Daniel
does get lots of attention, it is so much fun to have a newborn around! He doesn't cry often, but when he does it is
so funny to see all the women in the office go into maternal mode!

    ORLA--PS didn't
think you would hold together, and no one told YOU?That is just so wrong, to my way of
thinking. But, now that it is clear you
will hold together, make sure to you take it easy, make sure you are following
the restrictions, this phase will pass and you will be on your way in a few
months. So glad the suckers didn't have
to come out!Even notice how similar the
Ork handshake and the Vulcan salute are?

    image

    image

    Julie--hmm, suddenly
I have an interest in going fishing. . .

    Genny--LOL!

Lala, that is good news, so glad the girls didn't have to come out, but that doesn't help with your pain! Glad you are taking it easy. You are a tough one to hold down.

Ha ha Julie, I love to fish! Have a nice day at work. Any interesting stories to tell from the SUper Moon?

LOL Genny, 48 and feeling good! Glad your friend is there to help, and that you are doing so well. Just dont let that fool ya, take it easy! Are you on FB?

And Cami not answering the phone unless it rings!

Hmmmmmm, I wonder which came first, the Ork handshake or the Vulcan salute? Cute how all of the moms hit that maternal mode when Little Daniel cries.

Another quiet night in The HTL, is everyone out fishing? Here are some pics as promised. I'm still cleaning!

This first picture, there is a tunnel in those rocks (Mount Carmel Tunnel) that you drive through. The holes are to let air in.

Lori u r some tough cookie--I was actually getting dizzy looking at u'r pics.  What lovely views---and I know I didn't see all of them.

Yea it's quiet here lately, I've been stupidly busy with crazy people during the day--they were not this goofy when I started just this week--OH=OH maybe it's the moon thing, could be. I didn't put it together til right now.I just awe myself sometimes.

Hi ladies, Lori those pictures were breathtaking! And you look beautiful, not sick at all! I could probably do the helicopter ride but I do have a fear of height, I don't think I could sit that close to the edge to get my pic taken. I'm so glad you had such a good time, I just sent you a FB friend request. And Wacko has my phone #.... Thanks

Cami, sent you a friend request also, love the pic of Joey. You might not go in a helicopter but you are one tough woman being such a hard ass with your boss, I mean to threaten not to answer the phone unless it rang? Wow... very brave!

Lala, like the cat marker thing, funny.

Juliet and Erin, found you both on FB too.

NM, loved Mork and Mindy too, I was 19, I think it came on right before Soap, loved that too. Oh and St Elsewhere, my favorites at that time.

Anyway, now to me. I got my path report today and it was not was I was hoping for. The cancer in my right breast appears to be inactive and was 1.8cm, none at all in the right boob. However 10 of 11 nodes were found to have active cancer cells, this makes me a stage 3C. I am going to see my BS on Monday, and the MO but I told them I don't want the same one and who I did want to try so they are going to work on getting me in with him. The BS's nurse discussed the possibility of more chemo but they'll have to do some kind of convincing to get me to do it. I think I just want the aromatase inhibitor and rads but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself and just wait to see what they want to do. I wasn't prepared for this at all, I don't think I could mentally handle more chemo right now. I also went to the PS and he said everything looks good and he took out the axillary drain, other 2 should come out on Monday. So that's my news, I'm gonna drug myself into unconsciousness in a little while and see how it all seems in the morning. Thanks for listening girls, I'm peeking down the wabbit hole but not there yet.

    Good morning,
Loungettes! Don't need to go take dip in the Lounge pool this ayem, all I need
to do is stand in the yard and let the rain get me wet.The gauge collected just over 2 inches of
rain in the last 24 hours.I remember
waking up to a bit of thunder during the night, too.Wet, wet, wet!

    Cammy--Sadie says
thanks for the hugs! Not a bad day at
work yesterday, except for finding out that an admission was cancelled, 3 1/2
hours after the cancellation was made.Could have done more yesterday if I'd known when it happened rather than
    at almost 2:30 . . .

    ORLA--I know the
restrictions aren't fun, but they do have a purpose, so hang in there!

    Goldie--doing some
online research, the Vulcan Salute fist seen in 1967 in Amok Time, Star Trek
    (original) second season.Mork and Mindy
started airing in 1978.I'm guessing the
    Vulcan Salute came first!Wow, great
    pics!!!!!!!

    Cammy--the moon is
doing crazy things to people, isn't it?

    Genny--I remember
St. Elsewhere, too!Never did get into
Soap.Well, was praying for a more positive path report
for you.Don't make any decisions right
now, give yourself a few days to process the info emotionally. Then get the info about benefits and risks
and make your decisions from there.Enjoy your drugged unconsciousness, that helps a lot, I can tell you
    from experience.

    ORLA--so much going
on!I would like to get my ovaries out
when I was on arimidex and getting shots to shut down my ovaries for 4 years,
but no one would do it.Everyone was happy
enough to cut into my boobs, but no one would take them off, didn't want to
kill the cash cow, I guess. So odd the
difference in treatment in different parts of the country.

    Hugs to you, too
    Cammy!

Yes Lara, we went for a helicopter ride. It was a surprise for me, for my birthday. You know if you're not working now, you should get a Facebook account.

Sorry to make you dizzy Cami! Are you sure it was the pictures???? LOL!

Gotcha Genny, thanks. Do we call you Genny or Mary? And remember, no mention of my new diagnosis on FB, my mom doesn't know. Stage 3 is better than IV, I guess that's how I would look at it. My original was stage 2, but I think it was really a 3. I had an idiot for my lumpectomy. I know it was him that staged it, but due to the size and node involvement, I think a 3. Not sure I've known anyone to do a second set of chemo! Def. do the AI. And we are here for you. I don't know what I would do without you girls, I can't even imagine.

NM, I wasn't a treky, but surely I watched Mork and Mindy. Thanks for the Big Hug!

Julie, glad you didn't throw that phone!

DH wants to head out early for town and see a movie. "Into the Storm" I think is what it's called. Thanks again for the nice words on my pictures. Ciao for niao girls.

    Hi Girls,

Popping in real quick, waiting for my cousin to return after having dinner with her recently widowed father. She has spent the last two nights here and is coming back soon.

Genny, thanks for finding me on facebook. I am willing (wanting) to be friends with each of you, if I am not yet your friend, PM me and I can send a request. Genny, you are very beautiful, I really enjoyed perusing through your pics and videos. I watched every video of sweet Nora and watched them twice. I made my cousin sit through watching a second time but honestly, she enjoyed watching with me. She is just soooo pretty and gets more beautiful with each passing day. I am really sorry to hear that your dr has even suggested more chemo. I know that the other girls with advanced stages of the RB will help you, along with your onc, make the right decision as far as treatment going forward. It makes me think again of that post that someone put on facebook, I will find it and post it for you.....

    Photo: Yep. <img class=" />

Hugs and lots of love coming your way along with me lifting you up in prayer. ((((Genny)))). and Lori asked a good question, would you prefer being called Mary? Or Genny? Or you can even give yourself another fun name lol. I have had several names, I think you missed the period where I was changing my name AND my avatar weekly lol.

    And another pic for Genny:

sorry about the extra crap on the borders.

I am going to hit submit as it is about time for ice cream for my Dad. I gave him an early dinner bcuz I had a 5:30 pm eye doc appointment. My eye is all healed but the iritis did leave some permanent scarring of my cornea, chit. It is always sumting.

Cheers ladies and lots of love peace and happiness to one and all of the ladies of BCO.

    a toast for all .....

oops, that is NOT what I met to post, hear hear!!

Hi girls, I'm hanging in there, thanks Erin, you always make me feel better and thanks for the Nora compliments, I sure do miss that little sweetie.

And Lori you all can call me whatever you want, Mary, Genny or what ever, I mean we've got PRN and Wacko and Erin and Dork and Lala and so many it took me quite awhile to figure out who was who. there still is an alias every now and then that I have to work to figure out. And I would never discuss your dx on Facebook. I barely talk about my own on there.

I had the left axillary drain removed yesterday and he removed the opsite on the left boob drain. Well last night the drain started to come out and I saw that the stitch was just hanging there. So I had my DH put opsite on it and it hasn't move and it's still draining but it's hurting like a         mother-f+*#$er. And it's red and irritated. Was supposed to stay in till at least Monday so I guess I'll call him in the morning. I'm sitting here with ice on it now. The more I've thought about it, the more I think my BS's nurse should never have mentioned the chemo thing. I'm not mad about it or anything but I think she was wrong. I'm pretty sure they'll just put me on an aromatase inhibitor and do the rads. I've found lots of women on here that had active ca in their nodes after chemo but not 1 that had more chemo. I don't think I'd do it anyway. I tried to get the appt with the other MO today, left a message but no one called me back. Ah, what happened to the good old days when you called the Dr and talked to a human being and they just booked your appt. So my DH thought I had been doing too much and as much as I do hate to admit it, I think he's right. Been sitting in this recliner all day and I'm soooo bored. I am not a good patient, this is driving me nuts! Oh and I sent out my insurance appeal papers today so cross your fingers. I wrote to a patient advocate place Tuesday and a woman from there called me today and said they can file a second appeal for me if this one gets turned down. It would cost $125 so I'll have to check them out and see if I think it's worth it. They also will help negotiate with the hospital if I can't get the ins to pay it, they charge by the hour. And she said I can send $50 or so to the hospital as a good faith payment with a letter saying i'm working on an appeal and it will keep them from turning it over to collections. Well that enough of my bullchit… blah…blah…blah

Erin, I did see the guy turn his head, and I love the toast and thanks again.

Sue I hope you just have the best vacay ever! DH still going?

NM, hope it stopped raining and Sadie's not too muddy and everybody kept their appointments. Geesh, I hate it when people are so inconsiderate about other people's time.

Cami, lala, PRN, Julie, and everyone else I didn't mention have a good night and a great day tomorrow. Sweet dreams to all!
