    I'm ready to partay!!!

Congratulations, NM! I'm amazed that you need no revisions - and so very happy for you!

My next (and hopefully last) revision surgery is scheduled for Sep 7. I'll remind everyone so they can hop on the bus and join me in the OR.

Wow, a lot to celebrate! Congratulations, NM! Gotta go collect my DD, but I'll be heading to the HTL as soon as I turn over the car keys.

Connie - my revision is scheduled for Sept 1. We should start hydrating!  I'll probably have drains again... hadn't thought about that. My friend even got a drain for her lumpectomy but she gets rid of it today.

    Fabulous cocktail, Beanie.

Love all the celebration.  Good drink Bean.  I also love your pics.  Is that by Whistler?  Such beautiful country.  Sorry, and are those cats in your avatar drinking martinis?  Crazy wench...LOL!  Never saw that before.  OK, we are getting some thunder/lightening....very very frightening...and not sure if power will go out here, so, I am typing fast and drinking fast.  AStorm, Connie, can I hydrate with ya.  I am going in on Aug 31 for surgery.  I think I might be dating Mr Pratt again.  Sorry NM...I don't mean to start a relationship so fast with your former love.  And, by the way....I have dated him before and know he is an a$$!  I also can't believe you don't need any revisions.  Well done NM!  Toasting to your PS!  So, lets celebrate all the birthdays, (AStorm and Stanzie), homecomings, chemo breaks, radiation (LadyM), house closings & mom coming home, daughters coming home from camp, Nurse Ratchet Biotches, Cancerversaries, Gambling fun, Traveling to Phoenix, and of course...this lovely get away.  What did I miss?  Not typos. I am sure something though.  You gals are too fast for me!  Cachink!  Hunkydory

Whew....great posts gals! I ditto what HunkyD wrote about all the things we are celebrating...no way could I keep up with it all. What an amazing partay....love the entertainment too....HD is that our old limbo stick you got out of mothballs? The tattie tenders sure can put on a good show (and they are showing a lot....tee hee)!

Been happily busy with my mom...shopped all day today for her new home, and both nights so far we have had happy hour by the lake. I wish they would move here, but my dad doesn't seem to be moving in this direction yet. If he gets to visit in December, maybe he will fall in love with the new home and want to move! Otherwise they will just visit 3 times a year or so... :(

Well, took time off from our fantastic partay to type on this teeny puter....gotta get back to the fun!!  WooHoo.....lots of yummy pretty drinks, and great pupus!

***HAPPY BIRTHDAY STANZIE.......HOPE  YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME!!!***

Hunkydory you too?! Well I'm looking forward to moving forward but not looking forward to Mr. Pratt. Also celebrating with my friend -- great news -- no nodes involved and negative margins!

hunky--I freely give you Mr. Pratt--and all 3 of his brothers.  I cannot believe that I dated all 4 at the same time for 2 weeks.  FYI--all the men in the Pratt family are a$$e$.  I cannot understand why I stuck with #4 for so long.  It took me a grand total of half a day to get over losing him.  I am very impressed with my PS and the results he made for me.  I found out that was part of the reason the surgery was so long--he works really hard and takes time with the Stage 1 procedure to get the best results possible. His goal is for any revisions needed to be as minor as possible, preferably things that can be done in his office rather than subject patients to more general anesthesia.  In my case he was totally successful!

waheni--So glad your mom is happy with the house, sounds like you two are having a great time shopping for the new home.  Happy hour by the lake sounds so nice.  Glad you dropped in, but don't waste too much time here when your mom is only here for a short time.

    stanzie--Happy Birthday!  Partay Heartay!

Astorm--Congratulations to your freind!  That is great news!  Go have a partay with her, or invite her to the one here and CELEBRATE!

Connie - once again I'm so delighted for your 6 years free and I'm doing a happy dance for you. I'd be delighted to join you on Sept. 7 on the bus. That is the same day I get another MF infusion in Seattle and it's my 15th wedding anniversary too. Last Tues DH was with me for the treatment and he was making so many funny jokes he about had me rolling on the floor. I kept thinking this is serious, I'm getting chemo, I shouldn't be laughing, but there I was laughing so hard and trying not to make any noise. I had to cool it every time the nurse came in. It sure made the time go by faster. We had a super nice nurse that day too. Anyway, I'll be thinking of you with best wishes!!

AStorm - Best wishes to you too on your revision and sorry to hear about your upcoming date with JP, he sucks...So glad to hear about your friend getting rid of the annoying pest and super good news about no nodes + and clear margins. Hurray!!

HD - The highway is south of Whistler probably about 150 miles south, thereabouts. Yes those are kitties with party hats lapping martinis - tee hee! Hope your storms have subsided and it's not so frightening. We had a lot of electrical storms out here in the mountains which was scary due to risk of fire. Fortunately it was followed by rain. So sorry to hear about a new surgery and date with Pratt the bratt. Crud. So Aug. 31, well I'm soooo hoping it all goes well.

Wahine - How fun to be out shopping with mom for her new home. I thought your dad was okay with the move?? Maybe he'll be more motivated when he visits to stay. Have a super fun time!!

NM - So so so glad to hear you're doing well and you have a great PS. That is such great news!!

Since we have some surgeries coming up and some surgeries healing I was thinking of ordering up a cocktail with some good medicinal qualities. Hibiscus is a beautiful flower for beautiful ladies and it has excellent healing powers.

    Here is a Hibiscus Margarita

It is a perfectly beautiful drink, perfect on a hot day, and healthy as well. Dried hibiscus flowers (jamaica in Spanish) make a hot-pink agua fresca with an excitingly tart, fruity flavor.

    hibiscus margarita

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon white sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • Lime wedge
    • Ice cubes
    • 4 ounces hibiscus syrup (recipe below)
    • 11⁄2 ounces 100 percent agave blanco tequila
    • 1 ounce sparkling water
    • Garnish: lime wedge or cinnamon stick

Hibiscus syrup (makes about 3 ½ cups):

    • 4 cups water
    • 2 cups white sugar
    • 2 cups dried hibiscus flower (jamaica)

    Directions:

    For the Hibiscus Margarita:

    1. Combine the sugar and cinnamon on a small plate. Moisten the rim of the glass with the lime wedge, dip the glass in the cinnamon sugar, and shake off the excess.

    2. Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice and pour in the tequila and hibiscus syrup. Top up with sparkling water. Stir carefully. Squeeze the juice from the lime wedge you used to prepare the glass rim on top of the drink and discard the wedge. Garnish with a fresh wedge of lime or a cinnamon stick.

    For the Hibiscus Syrup:

    1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat until the sugar is dissolved, stirring often. Cook at a slow simmer for 30 minutes.

    2. Let stand for 2 hours (or as long as overnight), then strain into a storage jar, pressing down on the flowers. Keeps indefinitely refrigerated.

Variation: Chill a 7-ounce martini glass and prepare the rim as described. In a shaker jar, combine the ice, hibiscus syrup and tequila, along with 1 tablespoon Cointreau or Grand Marnier. Cover tightly, shake well for 15 seconds, and strain into the glass. Garnish with a thin slice of lime.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Bean, very lovely DOD.  Looks too pretty to drink.  Sorry, but I had to look up the MF chemo.  I knew the "MF" you talk was an abreviation for chemo, but didn't know what it was. Found out that the M is Methotrexate and the F is flourouracil, also know as 5FU....another appropriate abbreviation...LOL!  Sorry, I know that isn't funny but I just think any chemo is a MF.  Glad your DH is making you giggle in the infusion room, and congrats on 15 years.  NM, hope you are doing better each day, and thanks for sharing the Jackson 5.  AStorm, good news for your friend.  You are a good friend for her during this trying time.  Good luck on your surgery and you too Connie, and congrats on 6 years.  Happy Birthday Stanzie.  Hope you are having a wonderful day.  I got confused with all the birthdays and what we are celebrating.  Still don't know when AStorms BD was/is.  Anyway...Happy Birthday!  I also missed International Beer Day and that is not right.  Junie is not going to be happy about missing it either.  Kathy, are you getting excited for OZ?  Bet you are. I'm not going any farther with my ramblings.  XXOO HD

    Hi!

Thanks for the congratulations! It's been a journey and I'm glad to be at this point.

Beanius - I was given 5FU for my colon cancer. I had it once a day for five days then off for either 3 or 4 weeks (I can't remember now). I was supposed to do 6 sets of that but they decided to change me to an oral med which I took every day for 2 weeks. The side effects were too much for me, though, so they stopped that after 2 sets. I'm really hoping they don't affect you too badly. Weird that they are giving you that drug.

You really shouldn't hide being able to laugh while having chemo. It's a serious thing, but that doesn't mean you can't laugh! Remember - Life is too short - no matter how long it is!

HD – Are MF and FU not the most apropos of acronyms? There’s also C for cytoxan pills, that I take daily, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, so it’s a wonderous journey all together. I can’t wait to say good-bye MF and FU to C. That all sounds like I’m using baaaaaad language. I didn’t do it. Really, just talking about my thhhhherrraappy. Darn stuff goes through the liver and kidneys so docs orders are for no alcohol during the 2 weeks on. They say I can have a glass of wine or a beer occasionally during the 2 weeks off. But they didn’t say how large a glass (SNICKER, SNICKER) I hope you are feeling well and please ramble more, it’s ALWAYS a delight to hear from you!!

    wine glass

Connie – Your chemo sounds similar to mine, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Daily cytoxan pills, then two MF infusions during the 2 weeks on. The worst side effects are lobotomy brain (feeling really dopey…even more than normal :-), and I just get tired and crash. There’s other stuff too, but so far I’m doing okay with it. I so agree about laughing. I know this bc is serious, but I’m so glad to be able to laugh again.

Kittycat – chairs to you, hope you’re doing great!

Stanzie & AStorm – Happy Happy Birthday again. And many more!!

    cupcake

I hope all the lounge ladies who haven’t been here for a while are out having a fabulous time somewhere. As for me, I’ll be going back to the coast, then to Seattle for my next MF, then back to the mountains, while eating cytoxan each day and drinking a gallon of crystal light, on what I now call my “crazy train.”

The abriviations are perfect you are right! Love the glass! I would so be the one to knock it over though - how hopelessly embarrassing!

You all going thru chemo are just doing so great! I'm proud of all of you! I think basically going through any of this you do what you have to do but I'm still in admiration.

Moving furniture back in my daughter's room today!!! Yay! Well, better get back to it..... Happy Weekend everyone.

Beanius - you crack me up!  I had a couple glasses of wine when I first started chemo.  I can't imagine drinking right now. My husband was talking about drinking a beer and it did sound good, but only if I felt good.

So, my onco put me on antibiotics.  I've tried to be an overachieving breast cancer patient and worker.  It hasn't worked out.  My counts are way down and if they get lower, I'll have to get a blood transfusion.  I've got myself so stressed out at work.  Plus, I don't have the brain to function like normal anymore.  So, my onco told me I have to take at least 5 days off after each chemo treatment (and that doesn't mean work from home, which I've been doing).

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend!  Have a drink for me!  Chairs!!! :)

Oh kittycat, I am so sorry to hear you have been working soooo hard that now your counts are down. PULEEZ take it easy, and try not to do so much. Hope the antib's work and you can start feeling much much better!

Stanzie, So glad your home is starting to get back to normal, and your DD can have her furniture back in her room!! Hope the workers are doing a good job.

Beans, I LOVE your huge wine glass....that was sooooo cute! Bummer to have to abstain for 2 wks, but this is a temporary thing, and soon you will be back to normal, and getting drunk with all of us here!

Talk about moving! DH and I moved my mom's sofa, 2 huge chairs, and about 3 truckloads full. My mom is who is so amazing....here she will be 90 in a few days, and she and I load up several carloads of her stuff every day, and she is keeping up with me. By the time I get to her townhouse, she has several boxes packed up, and has been hauling things down the stairs. The place is looking so gorgeous....and we love sitting and looking at the ducks during happy hour. There were almost 40 on her lawn today! Guess word got out that we are feeding them...LOL.

Well, its pizza time here. Hope everyone is doing well.

kittykat--you've got to slow down!  Chemo damages and kills normal cells as well as cancer cells and your body is putting a huge amount of energy into repairing/replacing cells.  That's why chemo has to be given over time and in carefully calculated doses--enough to kill as many cancer cells as possible wihtout killing so many normal cells that the person dies.  IMO no one should work during chemo or rads.  First, your energy needs to go to repairing the damage caused by treatment. Second, less exposure to germs and viruses.  Each chemo or rad treatment is like having surgery.  It takes more than a week to recover from surgery, so you're not completely recovered from one treatment before you get the next.  That is a huge amount of stress on the body, not to mention the mind and soul.

beanie--I love your idea of using a LARGE glass to drink from!  My kind of drinker! The abbreviations are so appropriate for our situations.  At least they got that part right!

waheni--your mom sounds liek a remarkable lady!  It's amazing that she can keep up with you, and wonderful that she is so happy in the new house.  Ducks are such fun to watch. Next spring she might get to see ducklings!

It's rainy and gray here in Maine today.  Here's an appropriate drink for today:

    Grey Sky

    2 parts Coconut Rum
    2 parts Hpnotiq
    1 part Lemonade

    Morning Girls!

NM, that drink looks so pretty! What is "hypnotiq"? I have never heard of it....how potent is it? The coconut rum I absolutely love, and have been working on the bottle we brought back from St.Thomas. But I've just been mixing it with the SOBE pina colada. IF anyone is near a Kroger store, they have the SOBE flavors (pina colada, strawberry daiquiri) that are $1.29 at Target, for only .49 this week at Kroger (w/ their store card). All the flavors are that price (0 cal ones too), but those others are the more expensive ones.

Back is very sore today from all that moving, and now the workers that were only going to replace some rotten wood on our chimney found out it is all rotten, even the wood underneath, so now it is a really $$$$ job, as they have to replace the entire chimney, which is goes up 2 stories, and above the roof. YIKES...that is what we got awakened to at 7 am today!!!! Even before coffee. Maybe I should just hang out at the HTL today.....and get smashed...then will feel no pain!!!! I think I need to sequester Pants for an all day back massage...is that ok with everyone?

NM, perfect cocktail for the weather here. I don't think we are going to have a summer this year. :(  Good advice to kittycat, too. Hope you are listening to the docs, kittycat, and taking care of yourself. We want life to be as normal as possible and we put on a brave face to get through everything, but you can't argue with your body. It knows what it needs -- downtime! I haven't had chemo (knock wood) but I learned from my past illnesses and a difficult pregnancy that ignoring your body's needs will not make them go away.

Wondering how my friend is going to get through radiation while continuing to work. She teaches and will be exposed to lots of bugs and boogers. Probably more of a concern with chemo, but rads makes you tired too. I'm sure her docs will advise her about taking time off if she needs it.

Well I've got a fun week ahead... I have another lovely pelvic US scheduled for tomorrow and seeing the PS on Wednesday for my pre-op. Looking forward to the visit with PS and anxious to get the revision but not looking forward to the US or results. Not sure why gyno wanted a biopsy if she's going to D&C anyway... just adding insult to injury I guess. I think I just make her nervous. We live in a small town and there aren't as many specialists here as a larger community might have. Wish we had gynecologic oncologists here.

Kathy -- I think we can get back rubs at HTL. Finally realized the housekeeper isn't coming around anymore and decided to clean my house before I go back for more surgery. Mopping especially wipes me out. Then I spent several hours cleaning the jacuzzi (after telling DH that if he wanted to drain it HE would have to finish cleaning it) only to start refilling it and watch all kinds of flotsam flow back into the tub. Drained it again and pulled the filter out to find that DD's attempt to clean it was patently ineffective. I think when the PS took over my pecs to make foobs out of them I lost what little upper body strength I previously had. It's a little early to show up at the HTL for that back rub so I'm going to check the chemicals in the spa and jump in if it looks good.

Part of the beauty of the HTL is that masssages are ALWAYS available!  All the Tenders and Wenches are certified breast cancer massage therapists, and they have more on staff if they are all busy.

    Some info about Hypnotiq:

    Hpnotiq
A delicious blend of cognac, vodka, and tropical fruit juices. Great on the rocks or make a wide variety of drinks from martini's to margaritas.

N.M. that makes sense what you say about chemo and how you have to let your body respond and deal with those kinds of meds. I am more like Kittycat I tend to overdo it and keep doing it till I'm really overtired and worn to pieces. I'm trying hard not to overdo it and to try and schedule in naps or at least actually down time - so far it hasn't happened and we moved furniture all weekend but mentally I know what I need to do. Mine is not chemo based but M. S. based as I get fatigued easily and then get too overtired. I just keep pushing.

Anyway, today was hard. I was so worried about sleeping through my alarm for first day of school, I just didn't go to sleep last night and should be asleep now... Anyway, no calls from the bus driver. I start calling at 5:30 when they open and finally get through about 6:20 and they only think he goes to middle school two days a week- huh? Who does that? anyway they said I'd have to fill out new paperwork and all and my ex would need to sign ( he is with his Dad - who had surgery today - was not in lymph nodes!!! but is invasive so he is either stage 1 or 2 ) Anway, got in the car to drive him and the bus pulls up? She says she left a message... was home all day. So he is supposed to arrive home at 4:30pm. By 6:00pm I'm getting pretty frantic, and calling ( he is special needs). Finally she pulls up and is very so what kind of attitude! She tells me she called the school?? How does that help me? They didn't call me and they are closed after 5:00pm So now not sure what to do - do I put him on the bus? Poor thing it was such a long day and on a hot non-air-conditioned bus. There were only 5 kids including him to drop off and we live about 15-20 in bad traffic so??? She said there was an accident but why not pull over and call? Also my son tells me two other adults were on the bus, hm? But mainly it was her smug attitude that just sent me over the top and my son can't defend or know when something isn't OK. Sorry to rant a bit...

Stanzie--Go ahead and rant!  That's part of what the boards are for.  I have a friend with a special needs child who has a bus switch on the way home, so I kind of understand what you are talking about.

Getting enough rest and not overdoing is so important during cancer treatment that I really think that it should be standard that patients not be allowed to work during treatment. Not enough rest diverts energy from killing stray cancer cells to just staying alive, and makes things a lot worse in the long run.  Chemo and rad are poisons, and I think we sometimes forget that.  Both are given in just under lethal doses.  Someone being poisoned would expect to work full time, would they?

It sounds like we need a DOTD that acknowledges our stresses:

    Absolut Stress

    1/2 oz Vodka
    1/2 oz Coconut Rum
    1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
    1 oz Cranberry Juice
    1 oz Orange Juice
    1 oz Pineapple Juice

NM, Yes, very good advice about slowing down and letting the body rest and recuperate! And thanx for the hypnotiq explanation! Haven't checked the site yet, but will. Very appropos DOTD for today!!!

AStorm, Hope all goes well for your US today...and only good results! Heloise recently had a column about cleaning spa tubs, so if you want, I can scan it and send it to you. Just PM me. I used her hints to clean the spa tub at my mom's new place, and it was easy. But yours sounds like more of a hot tub(?), rather than a spa tub? Sounds like you are overdoing it too! Remember that you don't want to be worn down before surgery, too.

Stanzie, Wow....how stressful, and how uncaring of that bus driver not to inform you of anything. In this day and age, any of us would totally freak out thinking the worst, if our kids were that late. Esp with Sean's special needs. I know it is such a help to have him picked up/brought home, but I wonder if it would be good for you to drive him for a few days, and talk with the bus driver's supervisor and tell them what happened? And with our hot weather, that non-a/c bus had to be miserable. Please do let the higher-ups know what transpired yesterday. I hope they can do something, but I guess I would drive until (and if) it gets straightened out. My youngest DD did not really want to home-school her 3 kids, but they are in a small town, and when they moved she had the kids attend 1 yr of school there, where they learned nothing. So last August, she started home-schooling them, and she is busy every day. This is a gal that has a lot of interests and was always on the go! So, sometimes it isn't fair, but we end up doing what is best for our kids in the long run. My oldest DD has always home-schooled her kids (she majored in early ed teaching), but only cause she knows she can teach them more, and it seems easier for her to have them at home. Just saying that, cause sometimes the system fails us, and we have to pick up the slack, even though it isn't always fair, since our taxes pay for those services! I do hope you can get a better bus driver on that route, but hope you are able to drive him, if that doesn't work out. Hard trying to get 2 others to school too....esp when it may be different schools! My heart goes out to you....I was so glad when my girls graduated and I didn't have to deal with bad teachers anymore (our bus drivers were okay). Hugs going out to you and to Sean for what he had to endure!!!

Lori, Hope your trip to Phoenix went well, and any tests/dr visits had good results!!! Did you get to fit in some fun stuff there? So hot, so I guess staying in a cool bar, or a cool mall might be good.

Another hot, steamy day here. Workers got here waaaaay before 7 am....not sure when. Put another case of bottled water in the fridge yesterday, as we went through tons yesterday, trying to keep them hydrated. Much nicer staying by our pool at our Hot Tatties Lounge....nice temps, get to look at Pants and Jocks.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Hope all you gals will have a nice day today~! My DD's email got hacked yesterday, so she spent all day trying to contact and change her financial info, notify everyone, etc. That sucks that people do that!!!! Stay cool everyone!!

    ChEARS Big Ears!

Did I just say "memory"? Oh well, here goes......Birthday wishes to Astorm, hope it was a grand day for you, although I don't know when it was! Glad to hear your daughter is home, I know you are! Good news for your friend, but I must say, I had to laugh at your "bugs and boogers" comment. Guess we need to get the percotini fountain back out! Kathy, your mom amazes me! She does more than most of us! But I thought the whole purpose of buying the house was that they were moving there. I guess I read wrong. Connie, woot woot for the un-cancerversary. I wish you and all of us to have many of those to celebrate. Beans, great drinks! I did have my share of some beer over the week end, so I guess I can say I celebrated National Beer Day. Love all FU's and MF's....that is too funny but sooooo appropriate! Happy Anniversary to you and hubbs. And you keep on laughing, I don't care where it is or what it's about. Laughing is good for the soul. Your pictures of the mountains are breath taking. One of these days, Darrell and I are heading up the Pacific coast. Sounds like you are doing pretty good with your treatments, unlike our little Ms Kitty. Heather, I am so sorry to hear you are having a time. But ditto what everyone has said and I also respond to you on your Caring Bridge website. (Taxol, please be kinder to Kitty than AC has been) Junie, so sorry those Gamblin Gods were on vacation. Darn, darn, darn! But you had a good time and I too hope they give you more free stays. NM, wooo hoooo no more drains! And you are just moving right along in your healing, that is great. But HD, you are having MORE? And it even involves a drain. WTF! What are they doing now? Good grief girl. I know you are ok with this, as you say what a perfectionist your surgeon is. I don't think you have hit a time where you could say, wow I'm feeling good. And now more! I am just so surprised. LadyM, I saw you pop in. Are you back from Hawaii? Stanzie, I so sorry about your scare with your son. You must have been in a panic. Please call the school and the bus garage and let them know what happened and the attitude of the bus driver. Very clearly, she should not be driving with special needs kids. I worked with special needs kids for 15 years, when I lived in MI, also did respite care for some of my students, so I can relate. I always referred to them as my kids. People always had to ask if I was referring to my own or my students J. NM, I'm not stressing but that sure sounds mighty tasty! Dee, hope all is well with you and you are lurking around! Miss you girl.

Chairs, chores, choo choos, chimneys, cachink and barstools! Whew! OH.....ChEARS!

Kathy, as usual...we were posting at the same time. My doc appt was perfect. I only had blood work done, but my kidney and liver functions are perfect and my tumor markers perfect as well. So I guess that gives me the go ahead to drink away! LOL Yes it was hot, 112 degrees Thurs and Fri. Saturday wasn't bad, I think in the 90's, was cloudy and they had a little rain. And I forgot to mention about your house repairs...bummer! Was it those darned squirrels?

    Hi Lori,

Glad you had a good time, and got to fit in some beer guzzling too! Awesome! So glad your dr appt was great, with such good news!! HOORAY!!! No, well....the squirrels did damage to a small area of the soffit that they are also repairing, but the chimney just got rotten....most of our house is brick, but the wood siding areas is of a masonite siding they stopped making, cause of how easy it rots I guess...so we have a LOT of repairs. I have been taking the workers bottled water every hr or so....but they are just drenched from this heat and humidity! Poor guys. But their boss is getting the big bucks....hope he pays them well, but I am sure he must. NO, you read totally right, Lori....the idea of the lake house was so my parents could move here. At least that is what my dad agreed to at the beginning.....of course now he "isn't sure WHEN they MIGHT move". It crushed my mom, as she gets so depressed in their house in HI. So right now, she will just visit I guess, about 3x a year, till he decides he is ready to move. At least he is talking about this house and showing pics to his friends....thats a start! There was a blue heron in their yard during happy hr yesterday....so pretty....and beautiful when they fly off too.

Yup...Chairs, Chores, ChEARS, chimneys, choo choos, cachink, and barstools (as you said!),

    Ciao,

    Kathy

Saw a tee-shirt that is perfect for the beer drinkers here at HTL......""In Dog Beers, I've only had one"   Thought that was perfect.

Heading out to the pool with my bucket o'beer (all one of them!!!) and try to keep cool; hope someone's there to jabber with!

bug huggssss to ALL   and Cheers, Chairs, ChEARS, and bottoms up to dog beers!!!!
