Lori - conventions are such a drag, especially if you're an exhibitor.  One of my customers is a decorator (or meeting organizer), so I've spent some time at conventions this past year.  I'm sorry you didn't get more donations.  I hope getting the word out helps business more!  We had one heathen at the party, but he's always a heathen.  I didn't find out until later that he was torturing some of the kids in the pool.  Luckily, one of my friends was watching them.

On Aspergers... my sister's husband's son has it.  He takes meds for it.  His attention span is really short.  He's got better over the years.  Mark and I really enjoy his company.  He is really fascinated by boats and trains.  Our neighbor's son also has Aspergers.  He has a really short attention span.  He is most fascinated by wash machines.  One year for his birthday, his grandpa took him to Sears to check out all the washers.  They had to block off the pool equipment because he was messing with it.  He did get the sprinklers to spray the plants perfectly, though!

Stanzie  - how nice that you got to grab some items out of your neighbor's garden.  It would be fun to have a garden, but we don't have much room for something like that.  Plus, it's really hard to plant stuff here in Vegas.  We had to jack hammer our ground in some areas to put in 5 gallon plants!  I'm not kidding!  They jack hammered a 5 foot boulder out of the ground, when we had our pool built!  Oh, and how cool that you got to meet Betty White.  She is such a great lady!  I'm so glad she made a huge come back!!!

Beanius - you are very pretty.  I love your profile pic (leave it up here) and your pic on your jog.  Wow! I am impressed!  Walking around a store is more exercise than I can tolerate on chemo!  I really admire you!!!

So, this crazy girl is going camping this weekend (in our RV out in the desert/ dunes).  I am bringing my $69 wig outlet special with me (camping wig - another brunette one).  I will bring some bandanas and hats to hold it down, while we're driving around in our RZR (large ATV, where 2 people sit side by side).  It goes up to 63 mph!  I will be good.  I am bringing all kinds of fruits and veggies that I can eat, plus some good eats from Trader Joe's!

Good news -  my counts are coming back up.  I am still a little anemic, but I'm getting better!  YAY!!

Junie-I dry my herbs by tying up bunches and hanging them upside down in the extra closet in the spare bedroom. Doesn't get too hot or humid in there. When they're completely dry I slip a paper bag over them from the bottom to catch all the little bits that fall off when you move the bunch, then strip the leaves off the stems and store them in airtight bottles. Some I grind up and store that way. Makes the house smell so good when I'm "processing" !

Goldie-lupines grow like weeds around here, once they get started, but they like wet more than they like dry. I'm using them to cover a rather steep hill on the side of my yard. I don't like mowing that area, so I'm trying to get it planted with stuff that will take care of itself and look good without mowing.

Beanie-you look great in the "running in the rain" pic! Good for you for being able to do that! All I could do during rads was sleep and feed the dogs. I can't imagine what I would have been like on chemo.

Kittykat-one of my friend has an adult son with Aspergers, another friend's little boy has it. I don't know the adult, really, met him in passing a time or two but he's living on his own and functioning. The little guy, he's 7 or 8 now, and I seem him pretty regularly. He has an amazing attention span if something interests him, and no attention span if it doesn't. He gets really mad easily, which can be challenging at school and out in public. He does have one odd little quirk-once he identifies something by a word, that is the ONLY word that will work for him! I inadvertently upset him by telling him it was time to put on his PJ's, one night. I got lectured about how they're not PJ's they're Jammies. He truly could not see that PJs and Jammies are the same thing. He also likes grapes "on the vine" meaning still connected as bunch. He's a lot of fun to be with now that I've figured out how to adapt my thinking to better understand his!

N.M. I think a lot of kids out of the "typical" range have a lot of similar issues. My son with DS has a very concrete way of thinking and abstract things are a bit more difficult. However he does have a wonderful sense of humor which is interesting as so much of humor is abstract or using different meanings to regular words so I'm always so thrilled when he can use and appreciate higher humor.

He is in puberty now and tempers are coming out. Two nights ago I had to send him to his room and he got mad with me and threw some toy through the window breaking it. He then really nicely cleaned up his room so I was so taken by all that I didn't see the broken window till the next day.

He also can be teased, like I call him beast and mushroom toes or silly names and he is fine with that but heavens if I tease him and call him George or something he gets very annoyed. So, N.M. I agree adapting ones thinking to better understand his is a wonderful way of looking at it. I will pass that on to my other two kids as they can so easily get frustrated with him.  I too adore lupines but they certainly don't like the south.

Junie - Love the Bar- men ! Oh no, now we will all be at least thinking this....

Kitty - congrats on the counts! And on camping - personally I don't think I'd make it camping - never have done it but now can't imagine trying to sleep on the ground - give me the Ritz instead!

So one of the movie guys just walked by - he has been in my back yard for about 20 min. making sure the yardmen didn't turn on the blowers while they were filming. LOL. Wahine - you can imagine how funny that is given my back yard and the movie is about 4 houses down from me, but I guess sound travels differently. Specaking of which, I'm sorry your renovation is so hard but then again I don't know that it is possible to have a stress free renovation....

Claire - I think I can totally imagine you driving through the snow and ice in your Subaru - what color is it, red?

My boys's birthday is on Sunday 10/10/10! Too bad they aren't turning 10. They are turning 14, any fun suggestions that don't cost a fortune to do with the number 10. It is one of my boys who has Down Syndrome so makes it a bit harder to come up with something but thought I'd throw it out to see if anyone's brain is more in gear than mine. I think I'm losing it, I was talking to my SO and over and over I just couldn't understand what on earth he was saying - I mean I couldn't follow the train of thought.... hopefully it was just being tired.

All the "dissolveable" stitches "fell off" last night in the shower - I totally freaked cause on one side the nipple looked like it had bites out of it. Had weird nightmares about that all night. There wasn't any bleeding but looked like the skin came off with the stitches knot. Anyway, this morning it looks better, anyone have anything like that happen. Also, I know one doesn't want "highbeam headlight" on all the time but I'm disappointed the projection is so slight - I guess my original ones were more so - so seems weird. Also I think the color is a bit fakey. They probably look OK from a distance but not great upclose. Sometimes I think, I can't believe I writing about this stuff or talking about it even!!! LOL What weird conversations all us BC women get stuck with.....

Anyway, today looks beautiful so on to finishing up birthday shopping, hoping the Comcast guy can finally get the cable (GRRRRR!) back working - It has been since last Friday! Hate Comcast!

OK, I'll be quiet now..... A little cool here for the pool so thank goodness for virtual pools and bars! My daughter loves pina coladas and made the mistake of letting her have a sip with real rum! So went and bought rum extract with no alchol and two of my kids have now gone crazy over the stuff. Will have to make sure there isn't anything weird in it - if not go and buy gallons! My son even wanted egg nog in the am with rum extract - now there is something you want on your JH's breath going into school!

Well, I had my BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS: Zofran, Yummy Latte; Honey Nut Cheerios spiked with Wheat Germ and Vodka; Calcium, Vitamin D, Echinacea, Cytoxan - just for good measure; a gallon of Crystal Light and 15 DOG BEERS for extra good measure!!! Now it's Mrs. McGoo goes to town for a zillion errands and I'm so glad junie is sending me 16 oz pee cups - much needed - thanks a million. Geez you ladies make me laugh, Stanzie congrats on catching the doggy pee - LOL!! BTW - did anyone ever hear of (or use) the shewee? I heard of it on a British show online. Holy Moley they even have a  pink one for breast cancer awareness! Could come in handy!! Link: http://www.sheweeusa.com/shop/ junie that hallway sex is the best, and that'll work fine for a late Hump Day!! And OMG popping out BARMEN that must have been deliciously funny!!! LMAO!!! Kittycat - as far as exercise, in my state of "no mind," it's like nothing, I used to feel pain jogging, but with no brain cells left, it's just weebling one foot in front of the other and trying to wobble in a straight line. Then after 40 min - stop. Wallah! Then crash! I get soooooo tired!!! Beddy-bye at 8 last night. What a long strange trip it's been. Claire - the Seattle hills must be tough in the ice, I drove a lot in San Francisco, so I can do the hills, but in ice and snow that's tough!! Totally agree, those mtn passes are treacherous, and it's getting close to that time of year, ayeeee! I like summer!!! NM - So happy to hear you had a wonderful day, wonderful friends to fix yer tires and take you to lunch and a movie, how super nice!! The lasagna and champagne sound most exquisite - yahoo! Stanzie - just read your touching post about your DS son, he sounds like a beautiful person, I've said this before, you parents amaze me with your strength, I wasn't brave enough for children. My SIL's BD is also 10/10/10 and she is a perfect 10, such a nice person, my bro is lucky!! You are right, kitty is brave to go camping, darn I love to camp, but the chemo thing and all, she's really brave!! As for dissolvable stiches, I wasn't sure what was up with that so I had my oncologist take a look and remove them. Yes, one side of my nipple is bumpley (is that a word?) Sounds like it may need more time to heal, no wonder the nightmares, so much to worry about!!! It is funny how normal it is to talk about all these things we go through, but thank God we can! I so much appreciate all the help and advice I've received as I've panic attacked over one thing after another!! Have fun, fun, fun shopping and hope that cable gets fixed. Hi to HD, wahine, dee, goldie, AStorm and all my other boozy dollinks! Cheers and more dog beers!

    Hi Everyone......

Yes, I have a red Subaru WRX.  Kept my body and soul together during an "exciting" decade.  (Also went through a corporate downsizing, career change, divorce, losing both parents, and cross-country move in the past ten years.)

Beans.....I rewarded myself with a Starbuck's chai latte (and usually lemon pound cake) at the end of my exercise jaunts.  No, not the one-mile walks I did most weekdays, but things like bicycle rides and three mile walks around Green Lake.

The other thing I would recommend is getting a water bottle with a good screw cap.  I was always desperately thirsty, and had one break open and drown my cell phone.

I am waiting for ski season as was seriously deprived last year.  But God was probably being good to me as cycling weather was great.  (This is not how my cycling buddy Jim remembers it.  He mentioned something about "unwilling to get soaked" this year.)

Another thing Beans.....you do need more time to heal.  I was told 6-12 months after finishing radiation.  That means mid winter for me.  So still swollen on my lumpectomy side.  Doesn't bother me in any way, including things like lifting furniture.  But I am aware that I have more healing to do.

Anyway, it's a glorious day here so enjoying the sunshine.  Loving this fall weather too.  Really wonderful to relax at the end of the day with a glass of super red wine. - Claire

Beanie, I had to do a double take when I came upon the Vodka in the cereal but felt much better after you added the dog beers! The shewee it hilarious but can't say I haven't wished for such things at times just perhaps not in pink.I was jealous of my son one time when he was desperate and I just finished off a water bottle and handed it to him and no problems.

Claire - so have you said you had a red car before or does it just seem like the perfect color for you?

Once upon a time in the west, DH and I were driving to Seattle and then the penninsula for Xmas.  Glad we had seat covers, along with 4wheel drive and chains.  There was a mountain pass I believe it was snoqualamie or something that was just winter nasty.  I white knuckled it through that...yet we are used to mountains, and snow.  Worse than that shit by far, was the next horror we faced.  Rush hour around the Boeing plant.  I beleive it was Renton?  Don't know.  I almost needed one of them there shewee things for the poo-ie place.  DH was also freaking.  Of course we were both really on edge and were finally somewhere near Pike St Market and DH says "Gawd, I feel way more comfortable here"!  I snapped back "That's cause your in the frickin red light district A$$ Hole!  And we really were in the red light district.  Like I said....we were both really on edge.  Once we got on the ferry I immediately got into the cooler and so did DH!  So, like I said....no driving for me in a town with a population over 500 LOL!  Junie....your post was fuuuuuunny. All you gals tell such good stuff.  I am going to have to start making things up I guess.  I am boring!  I am headed for some Dog Beers!  Ruff Ruff! Oh heaven's HD don't come to Atlanta it is just crazy traffic and driving here. I grew up here and remember when we were so proud to be a big town well, I'd love love love to go back to that as these nutty drivers are scary and to think I'm supposed to want my kids to learn how to drive? You have got to be kidding!!!! I'd like to win the lotter and buy them a tank to drive then I might be OK with it all.

Oh and Beanie, I think you would be an amazing Mom. I understand it isn't for eveyone but I hope you have nieces and nephews as I'd adore you for an aunt!

Dang I hate going away! Well....I mean cuz there is always so much to catch up on. I just finised the previous page, came to current page and it's full! So I will catch up later. But I must say Peens (pee-nius).....you are cracking me up again!

Anyways, years ago when Darrell and I got together, we had stayed at this hotel in Payson AZ, which is about 2 1/2 hrs from home. See through fire place, jacuzzi tub...very romantic. Well he had called them and had them do up our room in a Hawaiin motif. 18 red roses, a bottle of an almond champagne with fruits in the tin bucket, but it really wasn't a bucket and because of chemo, I can't think of what they are called. I'll post pics later. But it had a pineapple, coconut, papaya, bananas in it. Candles, a decorated tree, magnets, balloons and the girl even made a music cd with Elvis love songs on it. Darrell had brought from home, the movie Blue Hawaii. It was just beautiful. When I first walked in the room, I was in such awe of the previous memories of the room I just started to cry. Then he started pointing out all the deco's, because I hadn't even noticed them, that I had to cry again and of course even harder! For those of you that weren't around last year, we got married in Hawaii. Darrell is a big Elvis fan and we got married just like Elvis did in the movie Blue Hawaii. The person that took us down the canal, and played guitar and sang the Hawaiin Wedding, Wise Men and I forget what else, was actually in the movie with Elvis. It was done at the same place as well.

Ok, time to go to town! Will ketchup later! LOL

I hope the picture is showing. I copied it from Facebook. I can see it, but I don't know if you all can. Let me know!

Will try to catch up with everyone later...such neat posts, and some are soooooooo funny! Junie, I cracked up over your "Barmen" at such an inopportune time...LOL. Gotta run and do errands before another appt at the house. Been so busy having to have so many people check out the damage etc, and now to see if we can find similar flooring....CIAO!

Lori, you sure have a keeper for a husband.  Sounds so special.  Mine is quite romantic also, but I don't think he would want to try and pull something off like that!  Hope you had a wonderful time.  I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend.  DH has to work Monday but I don't.  Do have the Dr appt though in afternoon.  Kathy, sounds like your busy as usual.  I got the whole durn place to myself tonight.  I guess I will get the tenders to play some John Lennon tunes and have a beer or 7 with me.  Maybe we'll have a shot of something.....IMAGINE that!  Happy Friday to all!  HD

Oooooh Stanzie...too bad the movie crew wasn't there to catch that episode in your yard! Peeindacup!

LMAO @ Junie...........you ARE the pee queen! I soooo love your stories and I will be one of the first one's there to help you escape. That has to be one of the funniest stories! BARMEN~!

Thanks Heather in regards to the donations...no biggy. I have several customers that call or email me (not for donations) to wish me well, or to tell me about their cancer, or someone they know. Sometimes they say that is why they order from us. I have my story on our website on our "contacts" page. As for the Aspergers, I SOOO hope they don't want to do meds.....I am affraid that will throw dad and maybe even mom over the top. I am just glad they at least have him diagnosed. It's out of my hands, I am only the "step mom" and "step grandma". Hope you had a GRAND time on your camping/atv'ing trip! Why the HECK would you even bother with a wig girl? Glad to hear your counts are coming back up......hang in there, you are getting closer closer to the end of chemo.

NM, I am jealous of your lupines.....could you post some pics please so I can look in envy? I think they like sandy as well, don't they? I am currently try to figure out what is getting my little fenced in area and wreaking havok on my maters! Has to be a raven, squirrel or chimpmunk....Stanzie? You didn't send any of those little critters over here have you?

Stanzie, you and I like the same kind of camping....except we do ours at Embassy Suites! The only think I can think of with "10" is bowling. 10 pins.......do the kids like to bowl? Sorry, that's all I could come up with!

Again, typing as I read. Beans/Peen's/Mrs Magoo...whoever you are! So glad you got the pee cups Junie sent. Junie, you are truely a friend! LMAO! Bumpily....if it wasn't a word before, it is NOW! Don't have time right now to check out the shewee, I hope I do later! (not likely as I will forget!)

Claire, glad you are enjoying your red wine and somebody sure had you pegged for the "red" vehicle!

HD, you boring? Are you kidding me? That is a hilarious story about ending up in the red light district. I'm guessing you didn't stick around?

Driving....worst place I have encountered is CALIFORNIA! Sorry Stanz. Phoenix is bad, but Cali is over the top! They are just plain stupid, use no sense and drive like maniacs at 90 mph....and that's in the slow lane!

Kathy, all I can say to you is that I am so sorry for all they problems you are going through. Girl, I know you are going a thousand miles an hour. Please take time to at least breath! .....then a sip of that drink ;-)

HD, I'll join you in that drink! Glad you are getting an extended weekend! I forgot to tell that I also got a necklace. A pearl in a triangle, with each side of the triangle being a different gold. White gold, yellow and whatever the copperish one is.

Oh my.........I think I am caught up. My house is a fricken MESS! I have laundry to do and then pack for 10 day trip to TN, leaving Thursday I think. That being said, not sure how much I will be around to post, but I will be reading at the very least (if I can). Then when we get home on the 23rd, I have to get ready to go to Michigan to see my family. So I will be quite busy in the next month.......not to mention WORK!

Hugs and Love to you ALL...........Dee, Jaybird, Connie (oh my, who am I missing) hope you all are doing well!

wow, Lori--can't believe it's been a year--happy anniv!!!   Sounds like DH created a magic moment for you to celebrate!!!  Hugs to you and  Darrell.......

Hunky, I'll join you for a beer or two or three!!   I'm bringing a bunch of bic lighters that we can light and wave around!   Do I get to sing along, too?   Jocks is bringing out Strawberries with decadent dipping chocolate!!!  yummmmmm.   I did get to see the Beatles in concert in Kansas City--l964...think it was my first concert.   All I really remember is lots of bright lights (baseball stadium); constant screaming and jumping up and down (and privately wondering what the hell was all the hoopla about????--don't remember actually hearing any "music"!!)  LOL--still have my ticket stub!

Having some lovely fall weather, although today warmed up a bit too much.   Per the news, the trees are starting to change--we had such a hot, dry summer--it will be interesting to see if there is much fall color.  I think for a first time ever, I'm looking forward to winter.

Beans, love your pictures; and Claire, your descriptions are so good--have visited your part of the country and thought it was breathtakingly beautiful!

I looked up that shewee thingie--what a hoot!   I'll stick with my "cup" for now, but bookmarked the site cause if the airlines do start charging to use the lavs, I'm ordering me a couple!!!

All rightie, the strawberries/chocolate are here; the music is divine; peace to all!!!!   Woo-hoo, Hunky started a bonfire with her bic lighter and here come the firemen!!!!!

Junie, what was that word I just saw roll off your tongue? Was that the "W" word? Bite your tongue woman!

NM, What a sweet thought to honor the romantic guys with a drink! YAY! I'll drink to that...lol. Except for some reason the pic doesn't show up for me. But I have a good imagination!

Such funny, funny, stories!!! I want so badly to respond to everyone's posts, but like Lori said, I really am going "a thousand miles an hour" and no time to stop yet. Our flooring guy who put in floors for us last year in the condo that we have, and did an AWESOME job, could not believe my age. I thought he was AT LEAST my age, but he is not even 50....yikes, he sure has the wrinkles! And then he commented on my "high energy"...lol. I told him I am afraid if I stopped I might end up as a pile of dust on the floor. Yesterday we were trying to decide on new fridge, new K flooring, K countertops, and then the wood flooring fiasco. Found some 3/4" wood by Bruce (who made ours that got damaged) that is very "close", and might get to do a transition piece to a column to break up the change so it might not be noticed...OR I may do a narrow strip of fancy tile....AStorm I may neeeeeed you to help me!!!! Lotsa decisions to try to make right now.

Stanzie, On Entertainment Tonight last night, they interviewed Betty White at the site....so saw your street, and the house across from where they are filming (english tudor? I forget....it was a quick shot)...that was neat! Everything looked so pretty, as that is a wonderful neighborhood.

Lori, Funny....I knew how to pronounce that word, but then figured it was cause when I grew up in HI, instead of "pee" we said "sheshe" or "weewee" (not for gender, just what you felt like calling it at the time)...thought those were normal words and it took YEARS after moving here till I could say "pee"!

Would love to stay and visit awhile, but gotta get going. HOPEFULLY the renovators can take the %*#%^# noisy fans out today...cannot even hear ourselves think and I have to call DH on the phone when I want to talk to him, even in the next room!

Cheers to our Romantic Men! And...BARMEN!!!

I'm with you on toasting romantic guys.  And a tip is to show our appreciation for those gestures.  I can't tell you how hurt the guy in my life has been by the times he got slammed as opposed to a thank you.

Right now, I need to haul my butt into my cycling duds and then about an hour to a five cycling clubs ride.  Tons of fit guys in spandex.  This will be followed by pizza and microbrew.  Just so much fun even if we all end up wet.  I think I will take some dry clothes.

I think I will do the 25 mile "social" ride and let the tosterone hogs do the faster route.

I am also loving the fall weather.  Wish me a dry ride!!!   Bicycle is in the back of my car.   Sometimes I ride around with it for weeks.  It will be replaced by skis in a couple of months.

The countryside around Snohomish is so pretty, and I haven't been there in a few months.  I think not since the spring.  So will be fun.

Good luck with the flooring Wahine.  I remember friends of mine who discovered a number of years ago, much to their horror, that the only thing that was holding up their bathroom floor was the pipes!!!

By the way, this quote has been helping me lately, from old Ralph Waldo Emerson:

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely."

Thanks HD, my new nickname should be Slumpalumpagous. I would be banned from Sesame Street.

     Adorable pic, by the way.

HD, is that really you as a child?

Lulu, read that over and over, every day! Love the name Slumpalumpagous, funny name but not a good state of mind!

Claire, stay dry! Enjoy the pizza and beer. I assume that is what you drink at a micro brewery!

Not watching any games, but will gladly join in any tail gait parties! And all the fur babies can have a TALE gate party!

Got wet, but rain held off until nearly the end.  YAY!!!!!   As it's really nasty out now.

Post ride gathering was at a pizza joint that also had microbrew.  Good stuff was $4.50, but I went for the $3.00 Fat Tire amber.  This marks a milestone as they had run out of Fat Tire by the time my friend Amanda and I got to the finish of the Seattle-to-Portland back in July.

So I am looking at this as delayed gratification.

Ride was through gorgeous bottom land with all sorts of critters, pumpkins, corn mazes, and flower farms.  Seeing the dahlias and delphiniums in bloom was so wonderful.

More rain predicted for tomorrow, and will probably do another ride.  Loving the truck with dogs, especially with one marking territory and howling Walker hound.

I wouldn't leave a steak out to defrost with this crowd around.

Lori, You are on a roll, girl! LMAO at the literal tailgate partay!!! Love the pics you find. We did order our refrig today, only after the salesman showed us an EASY way to clean the SS...otherwise I was going to opt for the "SS Look". Apparently they are OUT of the model we wanted and said it has to be made...WTH???? But, will wait for it, since there is so much more to do. I can hear you all now....fans and dehumid are GONE...hooray! Silence is golden. I think I am in such a frenzy cause I put off some improvements I wanted, since we were always gone traveling. Now I want it all done....like RIGHT NOW!!!! Dumb me even got fabric samples today to see if I want to recover a sofa.  I think a better idea would be to just camp out at the HTL and get spoiled rotten by the TT's.....hmmmmmmmmmm. HD, were you really "Home Alone" tonight? If so we should have all stopped by and had a PARTAY! Hope your team won.

    ChEARS and BARMEN!

Love the pups on the truck--I relate to the one with the ball in it's mouth!

It does seem to be tail-gate (or tale-gate) season.

    Tail-gait warmer:

    1 oz Southern Comfort

    12 oz beer

    1 oz Vodka

    1 oz Peppermint Schnapps

    1 oz Tequila

Carefully pour the Rum, Tequila, Southern Comfort, and Peppermint Schnapps into the glass, light on fire, and quickly add the beer. After adding the beer, stir the mixture and watch it bubble forth.

NM, What a neat (and potent!) drink....sorta like a witches brew! Cute for our "tail gaters"! BET it really knocks you on your a$$. I hate spiders though, so trying to look at the drink and block the spiders out!!!! When my kids were little and they would get plastic spiders, sometimes I would go in their rooms and get scared soooooo much thinking it was a real, big huge black spider! When I decorate for Halloween and use lots of those spiders in the "web" stuff at the front door, I cringe everytime I pick one up....eeeecccckkkkkkkkk! Fun drink to start the day with....sorta "hair of the dog".

Soooo quiet here w/ those machines gone, I feel like I am in the wrong house! Some mold did get started under the house from the leak, so that is the last thing the renovator has to do. Then have to decide how to redo the flooring. Glad we have a good flooring guy though. But Stanzie none of our workers have been hunks :( .  Guess I'll just have to look at Pants and Jocks all day. Oh, and can anyone start a small fire so we can get our hunky firemen out here? Gonna enjoy NM's drinks, and our fantabulous Sunday Buffet......by the pool....gawgeous day here. And looks like our doggies are joining us here today instead of just at our doggy park.....  :)

    TailGate,Can't Wait,Don't Be Late,Grab a Date!

    Barmen!

I'm sure I can manage to set something on fire while lighting the Tailgate drink--that should get the fireman here!
