Thanks for da nurse AStorm. Never had one quite like that before. My bloodpressure would be high I think though if he took it. Hoping Dorothy is already done with her exchange and coming off her Milk of Amnesia nicely. Enjoying my coffee this morning and researching upgrading to a smart phone. Phone I would get would have wifi built in that could connect up to 5 computers anywhere my carrier gets service. Anyone have any pro's or cons to share with me about them? My carrier is Verizon. Yeah, the shovelng's going to be a bit of a job, but I go out and shovel for a while, then come in and tend the lasagna I'm constructing, then shovel, then do some housework, then shovel, then, well you get the idea. I had to open a bottle of wine for the lasagna sauce that I've got simmering, and somehow some of it got into my new water bottle:

HD, OOPS, reread and realized the nurse Hunk was for you! SO I edited my post. Hope he is treating you verrrrrrry well. Do take care and REST!!! My DD and family have that set-up, as they are all heavy computer users (she has built a couple for us), and the small town they moved to in TX did not have internet service where their house is! So, they use it through their cell phone...I think they got some sort of fancy device though, and if you want, I will ask her abou it. OK, send you a PM. Only thing I use my cell phone for other than calls, is to get emails on the road....love that feature.
I looked thru my recipes and found one I forgot that I loved...a chicken casserole with wild rice, mushrooms, and cheese, etc. REALLY good, so will make that for tomorrow. Has 3-4 lbs of chicken breasts so serves several. Trying a new salad recipe, and if we like the salad, will make it for our Sunday get-together too, along with roasted turkey breasts, etc..

I appreicate you all being there today. I will update more later, I think. For now, I am going to get flat on my back and rest my new girsl. I am not in too much pain but the propofel (spelling is bad but you got it) has not worn off and am still under the influence of those wicked pain pills. I bypassed the pill fountain for an IV...gets them in the blood fast! I also had two percs before they discharged me.
I peaked at my implants and think they look pretty. I cant wait til Thursday when I can unwrap them and see their pretty faces. They are definately better than my old saggy ones. Still trying to upload that photo, arrrrrrrrrr! I am a pirate arrrrrrr. Will keep trying.
Luv you all for the unique girls you all are. Okay, back to my buzz, need to lay down. Dh is nappin and wants me to come in with him, I think not, he scares me when he flails his arms in his sleep. Sofa and pillows, here I come. Gosh, I wrote alot for a quicky. Hi Ladies,
Have been MIA as buried under WORK!!! Trying to piece together objectives for one of the reports I am writing. Important as won't work if I don't know what the study was really about. Plus calls and other exciting stuff.
I slept in as skiing finally caught up with me. Then, I had a deep cleaning yesterday. So I went to bed. Found a bit of good cognac took the edge off everything.
Dorothy....glad you are fine. At least your journey in to work yesterday took your mind off today's surgery. Nothing like a diversion.
I am working until Thursday, and then off to the mountains with my friend Amanda. She is in need of an "adventure" so wants to hang with me
Should be the most amazing snow by then and chlly temps to preserve the wonderful powder conditions. I am sure we will find a suitable amount of "trouble".I think I will also go skiing Saturday and Sunday. Depends on things like snow and road conditions too. Even Rexxie (my Subaru WRX) sometimes tells me that it's too much. I have learned to listen to him as he doesn't say this very often.

I made some great yellow snow on Sunday. There was no real cover, so I chose a spot slightly off the trail with the best view
Can't wait to join the buffet. It's 9 pm and just now finishing up a piece of consulting work. But it's done and the one the client really needs.

thank you all so much for the loving posts, I love you all so very much for the love you have shown and greatly appreciate it. I just stopped in at the lounge and parked my arse in a hammock next to the perco-fountain. I thank you for moving it next to the hammock for me. I can't express enough how much having all of you helps in my recovery and emotional health. To each of you, I have ordered a personal massage and a round of drinks to reciprocate the love you have given.
A-storm, the pillboy you send was standing by my bed when I woke up and fed me my percocet and antibiotic, thanks for sending him, you must know I am not a good pill taker.
Kathy, I did not jump that male nurse but there was a WEALLY SCHMOKIN' HOT resident working under my doc that was so cute and so personable. I had to wait in a room for awhile as the docs were waiting for my labs to come back. I had blood drawn on the 13th but the report never made it to my doc or the hosptial so that had to do it again. I did not mind waiting, between all of you and that HOT HOT doctor, named Shane, who will finish his residency in six months, kept me entertained. The were talking about other residents and telling stories about the things that happen behind the scenes. I am still fantasizing that DH is Dr. Shane lol.
I can not wait to unwrap tomorrow and see my implants. So very exciting. I have two drains, disappointed over that but it is what it is.
DH has been a trooper with me and is pampering me so. He slept on the sofa last night and I did not even ask him too. I told him about the hot doc, he did not seem to like that and I would have not said anything had I not been in loopy land. He is sensitive that way and most men do not like to hear about other hot men, oops.
Now time to start focusing on the NYE party at the lounge. I will be there, will bells and boobs too. Yippie!!! Let me know if I can bring anything other than my darnself! I can't wait to get out of this year and move on to better times.

Dorothy, so glad you are home and settled, with hot nurses, docs and residents! I was so surprised to see the first posts, chuckled at how they were written. Could tell you were still loopy. And they you just kept posting after you kept saying you were gonna lay down! As for hubby being a little jealous, that's ok...........shows he still cares! As for NYE, maybe you can wear Bells ON the new Boobs! Those JP brothers sure do make their rounds with us, cheatin little b*stards! Thank you for thinking of all of us! Oh My, can just visualize "Shane", and I am sure just looking at him helped you in recovery! Yeah, not a good move to tell DH about him, but hey, you were "loopy" and that usually gives us a loose mouth. Drugs and/or drinks can do that! Try to make it up to DH when you can. My DH always kids me that I have a party going on as soon as he leaves the house, so I play that up when he calls, and sometimes he REALLY gets jealous....lol. Hey, he is the one that started it! But its funny to pretend all those good looking guys show up as soon as he pulls out of the driveway. Glad you are doing well!!!

Sugar lump
Fresh mint
Suburban snowPlace mint in a glass. Drop in sugar lump and muddle with the mint leaves. Add snow and pour in the whisky. Either drink with a straw or mix into an alcoholic Slush Puppy. Then discard.

OMG Lori, I just saw your previous post...apparently I was typing mine and missed it! That is FUNNY...don't delete it! Yellow snow has a new meaning now, and I am sure that image will pop into our minds everytime "yellow snow" is mentioned! LOL. I'll PM you the chicken recipe.....remind me in a few days if I forget. I think the first time I had it was 18 yrs ago, at a friends house! Luckily once it is made (since it is cooked before assembling), then it just needs to be in the oven till the cheese melts and it gets hot. Cause last night while making it, I got a call that my g'son is sick....well no way am I exposing my parents to anyone sick! So we have to delay our get-together till maybe Friday....and the casserole will be just fine in the fridge till then.
