Well I can testify to the power of prayers from all of you, that have prayed for me.I did ask for EVERYONE to pray for me,but I think we are all adults or so I though we were,we can pray of not pray it is up to each of us.I love everyone the same wheather they pray or not.
I dont understand why someone has to come in and interrupt a perfect thread with saying hurtful words and calling people names.NewVickie you are one of the kindest people I know and so is carrie and 99% of the other ladies.but then there is that 1% always.
    Pass the butter please!

Good night all sweet ladies. Hope that all our circled sisters sleep well under our blanket of love and protection. As you lay there at night when all your fears are the worst just imagine our wonderful wagon train circling your home, imagine the campfire, the food cooking, the wind chimes, the soft laughter and singing and Vera with the heavy artillary! Rest well all.

Just got this so I'm posting it here.
    Mouse Story ..

    A mouse looked through the
crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

"What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered -
he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap

    Retreating to the farmyard,
    the mouse proclaimed the warning.
"There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap
    in the house!"

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and
said, "Mr. Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you but it is of no consequence to me.
I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a
mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
    The pig sympathized, but said,
"I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse,
but there is nothing I can do about it but pray.
Be assured you are in my prayers."

The mouse turned to the cow and said, "There is a
    mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse.
    I'm sorry for you,
but it's no skin off my nose."

So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected,to face the farmer's mousetrap-- alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house --
like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.

The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the
darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake
whose tail the trap had caught.
The snake bit the farmer's wife.

    The farmer rushed her
to the hospital and she returned home with a fever.

Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup,
so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.

    But his wife's sickness continued,
    so friends and neighbors came
to sit with her around the clock.
To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died.
    So many people came
    for her funeral, the farmer
had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them.

The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.

So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you,

    remember --

when one of us is threatened,

    we are all at risk.

We are all involved in this journey called life.

We must keep an eye out
for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

    REMEMBER:
EACH OF US IS A VITAL
    THREAD IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY;

OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER FOR A REASON.

One of the best things to hold onto in this world is a friend .
    Amen

    THIS IS THE CIRCLE

    There are no fights
    There are no bad vibes
    There is no negative energy
NO ONE will be made to feel that what they have written is wrong
NO ONE will be chastised for their belief system be it prayer, nature or light
NO ONE comes to the circle to play sheriff
Everyone is equal here and everyone is welcome
We are sisters with breast cancer
    We have only one enemy:
    CANCER
    TOGETHER WE FIGHT IT
TOGETHER WE GET THROUGH ALL WE MUST ENDURE
    TOGETHER WE HELP OUR SISTERS

Don't even think of trying to start up something negative here... it won't happen.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE FORCE OF THE SISTERHOOD

The circle is open to all
We love all our sisters in this battle

We come to the circle for peace and understanding and support

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and belief.

But don't even think about causing a ruckus here... there are other places for that and you will frighten the horses.

Pass the butter, I am not done with my steamers yet.

    Hi all-

Just dropped in for a quick bite of lobster. I took a break from the computer for a bit to refresh my brain Some times I spend WAY to much time on line and need to get away from it for awhile.

I had my first RADS simulation and CAT scan today, along with tat's. They look like tiny little black heads and didn't even hurt. You would think I could at least get a flower of a butterfly out of the deal instead of a little back dot.

Anyway...all is well, I'm just busy getting ready to be out of town for RADS.

I hope everyone is well and things are calm. I'll try and catch up on all the posts but there are TONS in 2 days! You guys were BUSY..

    Hugs,
    Deb C.

Hey Deb C. - have a "blast" at rads camp! I'd say "turn before you burn", but you'd best lay real still. They don't much like you floppin around on the table.

    We'll miss you...

    Deb,
It's so good to hear from you. I thought you were already out of town. You sound great!! I missed you.
Your tattoos remind of something that I feel really bad about. I don't know if I was in denial, or if my mom made it look easy, but I didn't even know about my mom's rad. tattoos until just this past weekend. She had rads 8 years ago. I feel like such a bad daughter. I just didn't know. Now I know, boy do I know. Sorry had to get that off of my chest.

    Hi Lini-

I ran up to Anchorage for a one day appointment today and start for real next Tuesday. I am just running around like a crazy woman trying to get ready to be out of town 5 days a week!!! YIKES. I know everyone will be fine without me, but I am stressing....

Don't think you were a bad daughter! I'm sure your mom (like most moms) was trying to protect her daughter by making light of her treatment. I had a very good friend who got a rare form of cancer about 2 months before we moved from Michigan back to Alaska. I sent a card and actually said "call me if I can do anything" and then left it at that! I had NO idea at the time how bad a friend I was being. I have since talked to her and asked her forgivness and she just laughed and said there was nothing to forgive. We ALL live and learn. Don't worry about the past.

    Hugs,
    Deb C.

Deb, I have some familia in Anchorage. They've been there for over 40 years. Their house is for sale now. They want to retire to some other Alaskan city and live in a condo. Can't imagine them living in a condo. But they're older now, so I guess it's time. I haven't been up there since I was 5. Can't even remember any of it, except the drive to Moose or Goose Lake. I got so car sick and puked my brains out. Ah, that's what happened to my brains.

    Anyway, best to you.

Good morning all of my sisters. I see we had an intruder last night. I missed my watch. Fell asleep right after that wonderful dinner.

I remember rhymees original post. It was in response to someone who was sending us quotes from the bible regarding the end of the world. Yep, this person pretty much got out of hand. And there were several that responded not just rhymee. So I have joined the group. This person has been put on ignore also.

And of course we are protecting rhymee in the middle of this circle. Along with many others who have developed reoccurances, started new chemo, feeling hopeless, feeling fear. We are protecting all of you.

Cant keep watch for long this morning. Gotta go see my PS at 9am.

    Oh dear God we pray
    Send this nasty poster away

This circle is tight, we are friends
We will stick together no matter what, until the end

Ugly poster, my you are so insecure
Your words smell like cow manure

Dear God we need you here
Listen to my friends that say a real prayer

    Not some goofy religious quack
Who quotes your word out of whack

If this were not cyber space, geez who knows
I might just punch the ugly poster right in the nose

For spreading lies, now thats a real sin
Sorry but on this forum she doesnt win

We are sisters in the circle we stand strong
To pray for our sisters and rhymee, thats not wrong

Melissa doesnt like it when someone stalks
Think I will pm her and have a private talk.

So put me in your prayers today
Worried what the PS is gonna have to say
