Ahahaha Jasmine. Too bad I have a doctors appt. So chewing the grass will have to do for now.

Im so mad, I cant play
Have a doctors appoitnmet so I cant stay

But those in the circle I send healing light
To lift your spirits and keep you strong during your fight

My arms are wide, my heart is big
And my war dance is the Irish jig

Im dancing for all who need a prayer
See ya later, after my PS appt, what should I wear

Healing light to all my friends
Moving my wagon around the bend

Mornin' all. Had a lovely night's sleep last night. Very busy here at the ranch--Mr. Fancy and I are going camping with our horses this weekend. I won't be on the board until Tuesday at the earliest. Everybody stay safe, and stay polite.

    Well said NS.

You guys were busy last night---and I missed LOBSTER! Boo hoo. But DH took me out for dinner (good but not LOBSTER) came home, took 2 Zanax and checked out for the evening.

Talked to NP at onc's yesterday. First she said she wished specialists would learn how to talk to CA patients. Then said what I was saying---breast CA does NOT metastisise to your eyeball, for pete's sake! Doc thinks it's either an infection of some sort or a lymphoma----which is easy to fix? They have a rush order on the path and surgery is 8 a.m. so if we are lucky could have answer by late afternoon. Otherwise it's wait over the long weekend.

What are we having for dinner, ladies? Sure wish I hadn't missed last nite.

I'm going to the Great New York State Fair Monday----who wants to come with?

Jeannie (now officially Jeannie here. That's what family and friends call me. You have all become friends.)

Silvergirl...oh...Jeannnie...I want to come!!! I actually might too, it's only about an hour and a half away from where I live. I will talk to my sister and see if her and her husband want to come as it's easier for me if I have someone else to drive...I'll let you know.

Nice to see you made it out of the water evelelf. I was just trying to finish my morning starbucks and I was going to dive in. I needed a good shower and I figured I could use my sons excuse after he has swam all day. Aww mom,,I'm not dirty, I been in the pool all day. Nothing like trying to convince a 12 year old to shower. I know it wont be long and time will change and I will be trying to get him out of the shower.
O.K. now on to dinner...lets seeeeeee Wild game sounds great but I cant be the one to kill it. They just look too cute to hurt when I see them out. I'm up for anything so whatever is decided upon is good with me.
----skipping down to the water and diving in--looking around to see if anybody else is up for a swim.

    Vivkie--

How cool would that be?!? We can come back to the campfire and tell the sisters about the horse barn, the butter sculpture, the horticulture building. Word to the wise---we avoid the Center of Progress Building and the midway like the plague! Checked Empire Court and the free concerts are by people who don't ring a bell with me. But my bell is notoriously unreliable these days! Let me know what you decide. I also PM'd you.

Maybe rabbit stew, I know we have some gardners that will help with the veggies.... Along with some cornbread and what's for dessert???
Also what are we washing it down with???
Another bath in the (virtual) pond splashing around and again acting like kids, yep that's me just an over grown kid,,, still seeing the world through a 6 year olds life

    Has anyone heard from DEBBIEFIVE?

Vera. Oh I got a great recipe yesterday from semi-homemade on the food channel. Yes ladies I slipped away from the wagons for a bit. Sometimes I am a TV addict.

Anyways, one part orange juice, one part pineapple juice and a tweak of cranberry juice. Ooops forgot the most important ingrediant. Some vodka or gin. Should be a nice way to wash down the grub.

I stopped by the farm and got some great corn, taters fresh from the earth - like they are s0o different than the ones in the store eh - carrots, zuchinni, onions, yellow beans. That should be good vegies with our rabbit stew. Are we cooking it with beer or wine?

And nobody ever talks about the dishes. J.

I agree, there's nothing like going into the garden and getting your own veggies, a little dirt never killed anyone, made them sic maybe. I've eatten my fair share of worms in tomatoes, a little extra protien....

I just got back from my garden. The rain washed off all the dirt as I harvested things. I have carrots like none you have ever tasted. Alaska weather grows them as sweet as candy. I also have fresh salad fixin's...butter lettuce, baby swiss chard, green onions, cauliflower and broccoli and shredded red cabbage. I'll toss that up with a homemade green goddess dressing to go with the stew. I also have some sharp cheddar cheese, buttermilk biscuits ready to go in the oven. Dinner sounds like it will be yummy! Who is making desert? I have rhubarb cake I can bring….

OK…now I’m hungry! I hope everyone is doing well and feeling great. If anyone has a good “STOP the rain” dance, please send me the instructions! We have had such a wet summer I fear I’m going to grow GILLS!

I agree with you and the veggies grown in Alaska, lived up there 35 years ago and loved it, I wanted to stay but the hubby at the time wanted to get out of the army and move home to mama...WAHHHHHHHHHHH

    Hi all,
Bringing cukes and squash and some tomatoes from the garden. Don't know if I'll make dinner, had to get up at 5 this morning after another sleepless night to drop off my "wagon" for repairs and inspection and hitch a ride to work...aauugghhh! I'm surprised that I'm not sleeping at my desk!
I'll see if I can find us a dishwasher...one that's fun to watch.
Talked to my daughter...no news on Trenton...all I can see is his little face. This poor family and my poor daughter...all so worried and there is nothing I can do. (there is an amber alert for him though...Trenton Duckett...and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children along with the FBI are involved...I have faith he'll be found...safe and sound.)
    Ok...enough sad stuff...I'll find us a dishwasher...later ladies.
    hugs

Believe me if I knew a stop the rain dance I would know a bring rain dance and would be doing it daily in Alabama. You must be getting it all in Alaska and leaving none for us. Man those veggies sound wonderful. They always taste better when you grow them yourself. It could be because you know you have busted your butt out there sweating while you got it all ready but whatever the reason they are much better.
I will put on the cornbread. I have some fresh meal that my dad had made recently with his corn so its nice and fresh.

No, squash?? I make the best calabacitas. Zucchini, yellow squash, bell pepper, onion, corn, tomatoes, garlic all sliced and sauteed in oil, then smothered with grated cheese. Yummy!!
