deese! You look fantastic. Love the avatar.
Gina - please come here. That's why we're here - to help, comfort and listen.
Vickie - oh sorry hon. I'm whispering. I so hate migraines. Gentle hugs.
Okay, secret pals have been sent to those participating. Now on to my next project.
Awhile back, I started compiling a list of the CG's information. This is so if someone goes MIA we'll be able to track them down. I'm going to be finalizing it now. SO if you want to be included, sent me a PM.
Hugs and Prayers to each and everyone of you. Know that I'm always here for you.
Liz0 -
Hi all, I'm getting ready to go to bed so no time to take notes. Anyone heard from cheri? I just tried to call her cell and it was not accepting calls.
G should we bombard your insurance company with letters. It's too bad you have to work so hard at this while you are going through treatment. hugs and prayers for you. You will get them i'm sure.0 -
Gina, Please don't ever feel that what you have concerns over is ever trivial. That's is what this circle is all about is it not? That means you too!
Glad you got a box of goodies to cheer you up!
Got an appointment for Tuesday at 12:30 for the root canal!
Found out today that I will be training a new back up as my back up will be leaving the company on the 31st. and there is no one else that can do my job. Our department is going to be sorely under staffed come Sept!
They are trying to work with me the best they can and the girls keep telling me to go home as soon as I have what needs to be done for the day off my desk. In the print and die business that can be a desaster. But I managed to get a lot done today in anticipation of missing a lot of work this week. I figurge I had a weeks worth of work to get done in 2 day time.
Got the shower all wrapped in plastic again as I won't be able to work on the dry wall until next weekend again. I may get it done by Halloween at this rate!
I see Candie made it to the circle! Welcome!
Rita Jean I know you're lurking com on and join us!
Yeah I see Odalys got B9 and so did her sister double Yeah!
Angel you take it easy.
Well i didn't take notes but from Amy to Z I pray you all are doing well and have a good night
HUgs & Prayers0 -
Cheryl, you have ESP. I have been lurking around here since I finished my treatments last month and have noticed many familiar faces, just as Candie said I would! Thanks for inviting me in.
Nicki....I immediately recognized your graphics and hope that you're on the mend. You're too busy of a gal to be sick!
This looks like the place to be once the treatments are over and you're feeling a bit "antzy" and displaced. It's so encouraging to see that so many of you have picked up the pieces and have gone on to live life to its fullest and to have fun again.
Rita0 -
Hi ritajean - welcome to the circle. It's a wonderful place full of friends, laughter, support and caring.
Liz0 -
Gina, we need to figure out how to help you. Linda had a good idea about a medical school. Somehow a cleft palate doctor does not seem to fit the bill. What a nice surprise you got from Pinkstock. Don't you ever feel like you are whining or you can't have a bad day - if it wasn't for you, this thread wouldn't exist and I don't think we would have forged the friendships that we have.
Wild/Jan, hope tomorrow is a better day.
Nicki, you and I are around the same age so there is no way you should feel old. I was just never a big Abba fan. Oh, since you can't come here, here's a picture so you can feel like you are on vacation:
Sheri, hugs to your friend. One of my good friends was married to a minister for 30 years and finally divorced him. I could tell you stories but it's enough to say that neither of her kids refers to their father as "Dad"; they call him by his first name and haven't seen him in years....he was not a nice person.
Charlene, wasn't that a good line for the kids. I never let them talk like that so they were just waiting for the mean lady to say something so they could let her have it. I can tell you that there is no way they would let her get away with talking to them like that now. Tri-tip is a cut of beef. The tri-tip steak is excellent when it is grilled or broiled, but it can easily become very tough if it is overcooked. The tri-tip is also known as triangle Steak and culotte steak. Yum, with some Santa Maria and Montreal steak seasoning and a little olive oil.....
Denise, I found a dress at Macys.com but don't know if it will fit - ordered it anyway. Anyone know any good places to order a dress online reasonably priced? I checked Spiegel, Chadwicks, Penneys, Macys, Nordstroms, eBay, Smarterbargain.com (or something like that). Maybe I should check QVC or one of those websites. The one I ordered at Macys is a beautiful shade of blue, knee length (I don't want a long black dress because everyone will be wearing a long black dress and I have one in case I can't find anything), sheer chiffon sleeves (fat arms so need sleeves), now, if it only fits. I kept thinking of that dress while doing boot camp tonight. I'm not the straight dress with little beaded jacket either. I was looking for a great pantsuit but couldn't find one.
Odalys, two congratulations in one day....glad that you got your results back too.
Robin, sounds like you picked up a virus. You will have to remove them. Download AVG software and you should be able to get rid of them and change your security settings to higher. Pain in the butt, but it gets rid of them. Remember, Evil can only make you feel like crap if you let him. I love that you can laugh at him - he has no idea what's going on with you and can't figure it out. You will stay strong because you have us.
Liz, so sorry about your MIL. It doesn't sound like she has much of a quality of life.
Lini, boy, there is truth to all 50 of those statements, especially #50.
Deese, well said to G.
Time to go. Boot camp kicked my butt tonight but I can now run halfway around the track before stopping, so that's an improvement.
Peter, have a good day.
Anyone hear from Cheri?
Love to all from Amy to Z. See you tomorrow.
Margaret
Ritajean, almost missed welcoming you - I copied my post and was just going to paste it when I saw yours come through. You'll love it here. We're a great group of women and our brother Peter.0 -
Dear Sisters (and Peter, of course),
It has taken me all day, off and on to catch up all the posts. So much going on here and everywhere! I am pushing Puppy to the center of the circle. Just read on the prayer thread that Pupster is having some serious issues. Deep, heartfelt prayers are going up in your behalf Pup.
So many here with heartache and illness, infections, hatred.
Angel I cannot imagine for the life of me how someone could be so mean to Audrey. There is absolutely no reason on earth for that kind of behavior. I am so sorry it happened and hope Audrey is none the worse for it. Give her big hugs from all of us. Vickie... migraines... ugh. You know how I got rid of my week-long headache? Went to have my hair done on Saturday and the stylist did a scalp massage!
It was so relaxing. I would almost be willing to pay him to wash my hear 3 or 4 times a week!!
Cheri..I hear you are home or at least on the way. Another prayer answered. Odalys... double good news!!! So glad to hear it. Robin, I agree with everyone else... the new you sounds so much stronger. Nicki...so glad you have the week off. It takes so long to recover from pneumonia and maybe 6 months to even feel somewhat normal again. I didn't really understand... do you still have broken ribs or was it pneumonia causing pain?
Welcome to Rita and any other newbies I might have missed. Margaret, so proud of you. Madison, haven't heard from you in a while.. hope all is well. Big hugs to you Denise.
Jankay, I will be glad when you get you a new pc. Everyone in Australia is watching the sky for falling debris.
So sorry to have missed so many... from A to Z...especially Z..... have a good night and better tomorrow. Love, Pam0 -
Margaret..have you checked out Drapers and Damon..they have lots of nice stuff..
Rita..goood to see you here!!! Welcome
Good morning Peter..or is it?? morning that is??
Hugs, SoCal0 -
Lini .. I like your life lessons!
Vickie .. shhhhh, feel better
CY .. Good luck with the root canal tomorrow.
Rita .. Welcome to the Circle!
Margaret .. Oh now you just made me hungry. Steak is my favorite food! That sounds yummy!
Pam .. Audrey is a tough little girl. She's too well aware that some people are just plain mean.
I just want to wrap her in my arms and protect her from the world! Luckily there's far more wonderful
people like you and the others here that more than make up for the scum on this earth!
Haven't heard from Cheri .. keep popping on here to check for a post or an email.
Marsha .. hoping to hear from you too soon!
Hope everybody has sweet dreams and painfree sleep!
Love&Hugs,
Charlene0 -
Wow! Thank you Lini! xxxxooooo Mizsissy

Good morning sweet sisters,
Good night Peter...sweet dreams to you.
Well the migraine is a bit better...downgraded to a throbbing monster and not throwing up. I hate throwing up.
Nicki...not gonna tweak your toes...you sleep and get better...I'll tuck you in and close the blinds.
Deese...oh my goodness...what a sweet surprise this morning to see your lovely face. I have missed you and Carrie so much. Hugs to you both.
Charlene...hugs to you...hope you have an easier day today.
CY...are you feeling better? Love ya.
Liz...I got my secret pal!! OH thank you...this is going to be fun fun fun.
Madison...got your pm...I'll write back in a bit. Miss you bunches.
Cherryl...where are you?
Colleen...haven't seen you either.
Gina...just gotta say...Love ya...so glad you liked your package. Wear that tiara with pride...you are a princess.
Deb...come tell us a story please.
Welcome Rita...a new sister...what a great thing! Come sit and talk to us.
Lini..I love the list...I'm gonna print it out and hang it up. I say #26 all the time...but I usually say in a hundred years. Love ya!
Puppy Puppy Puppy...we are all with you holding your hand. Don't forget the "big guy" standing behind you that is protecting your every move. In my prayers all day today...love and hugs from me and Nate.
I have a few pm's to answer that I will get to as quick as I get to work...
Love and hugs all around our wonderful circle.

Good Morning Sunshine Sisters! I slept last night, actually slept. Didnt realize that through this whole pneumonia thingy I wasnt sleeping. So right there tells you Im feeling better today. Im gonna enjoy my coffee and spend some time with you all and then go back to bed. Im glad I took the week off - still no way I could have worked today.
Odalys: I must admit that when I went to bed sleep night I had a sad feeling. Was so worried when we didnt hear from you. I just read your message and my heart is filled with joy! Doing the chemosabi happy dance with you.
Jan: I agree with you so much about insurance companies. Just recently I heard that the CEO of United Health Care got a bonus of 23 millions dollars! I think it was my onc that told me that but I dont remember. Anyways they are making big profits. I also find it interesting that for a "healthy" life style some insurance companies recommend a mammogram every other year after the age of 50. Oh but get this they recommend that men get a PSA yearly after 50. It truelly is a mans world.
Sheri: Thanks for your kind words. It made me feel better. I dont think I have even been this sick before. My doctor gave me the option of getting admitted or staying home. When I was at home taking care of myself, I scared me! Staph infections or boils are not uncommon. The bacteria in them are usually MRSA, so make sure your using an antibiotic creme that will do the job. Bacitracin is one of them. Im glad its draining - much better than the infection brewing and growing with no outlet. Wash your hands my dear friend and keep it cover with a bandaide if you can.
Wild/Jan: From the description of the fracture, I wonder why they had your DH wt. bearing on that leg. Did he have a cast or anything? That had to be a huge disappointment for him yesterday. When does he see the doctor again? Or maybe he should get a different orthopedic opinion. Good luck to both of you.
Robin: Robin: Sometimes your DH says things just like mine - although Im lucky it doesnt happen all the time. I was sitting by myself the other night and just got really tearful. Thought I have ruined everyones life by getting this breast cancer. But marriage is for better or worse. Sickness or health. I gained some inner strength that night cause I thought, I should not be sitting here feeling sorry for anyone. I didnt ask for this, Ive done my best to fight it, and Im not gonna let anyone ever again make me feel bad that because of me - their life got ruined! Its really my life and my spirit that was taken away. If I have to apologize for having breast cancer then something is very wrong with that picture.
My sister and I had the same surgery and reconstruction. So we got our fills almost at the same times. I didnt do the weekly. Right about that time, I started an exercise program which included dancing in front of a mirror, stretching my arms over my head. Anyways, the discomfort from the fills went away for me and my sister still had them. We have both agreed it had to be the stretching exercises. After everything you have been through, this should seem easier for you.
Liz: Oh my, they are definitely progressing down the wrong road with you MIL. Next step is gonna be a feeding tube in her stomach. Family really does need to sit down and talk about all of this. Im just wondering if your MIL ever told her children how she felt about what she wanted or didnt want done. Saying a big prayer for you and your family. BTW I got my secret pal info and now Im freaking out. I didnt participate before so I dont know what to do. And how do you send things without one knowing its from you. Please help help help!
Lini: Loved the "Lessons In Life." Could relate to alot of them.
Susan: Thanks for your input. As I was reading I noticed there was no news from Cheri or Marsha. Hoping everything is going well with both of them. Im guessing that Cheri is pretty exhausted from that long trip home and still fighting a bad infection.
CY: You are still such an inspiration to me. You sound so strong - its always hard to manipulate your job with treatment. Good luck on your root canal. I see my dentist the first week of September for a new crown.
RitaJean: Wow, I got a big smile when I saw your post. Yep this is usally where I hang out. It was great place for people with all stages of bc. We just sorta unite and give each other inner strength - have alot of laughs too. So here is my official welcome.
MargaretB: What a beautiful view. The wedding for me to go to is this coming Saturday. I better be well by then or I will flipping scream. I want to wear my new dress. This pneumonia has put about 10 more years to my age. Ive been a nurse for so long and cant believe I didnt know how sick one really is with it. Another eye opener for me.
Pam: I just stood up and stomped my foot down. No way its gonna take 6 months to feel better! I dont have time for that. It came on suddenly. Got severe pain in my rib cage towards to side and back. Felt just like it did when I broke a rib last year. It wasnt a broken rib. It was the lung and lining being inflamed from the infection. The one thing I learned about it is that its onset can be sudden and one of the first signs is rib or chest pain. At least that pain is almost gone. I see my PCP for a folow up tomorrow as what is scaring me the most now is that I am still coughing up blood tinged sputum. But all in all Im better. The pain is gone!!
SoCal: Im standing here waving at you. I just want you to know that you always have something nice to say and make so many of us feel encouraged. Ihope you have a great day.
Vickie: I must agree. Throwing up is awful. Especially the kind that comes with a migraine. Hope you start feeling better as the day goes on.
NS: Hoping you are hanging in there. Isnt there some law that says the expanders need to be removed right away if the silicone is leaking. I cant believe what your insurance company is putting your through.
I know I have missed many, but it seems like I have reached my limit. I need to go back to bed for a while. Talk to you all later.
Charlene: Im waving hello to you also.
Nicki0 -
Ok, I posted and responded to many last night and I don't know what happened - the post was there and this morning it is GONE. I'm still here so haven't been banned and certainly nothing bad in the post - so I guess the "BC monster" ate it. It takes forever for the pages to load. Is anyone else having that problem???
Anyway, big order to get out by 11:15 so I don't have time to redo the "POST THAT DISAPPEARED". Going to take the grandsons to see the new Harry Potter movie this evening so may not get back. Our last "before school fling" .
Everyone have a great day. Please send the rain some of you are having or pray for some rain. We were in a severe drought situation - has now been upgraded to EXTREME. We use our well water - geotherm- to heat and cool our house. Getting very worried.
Hugs everyone- Brenda0 -
Just checking in on all before I head to my 'not job'.....
Odalys: YES!!!! I was getting nervous waiting for your post... 2 B9's in one day..........So happy for you!!
Cheri: Are you home yet?????????? How's Amber?
Nicki: Yes, we will talk!! I'm glad you're feeling better and just stay low for the week......please!
Liz: Please tell me I didn't just read that they inserted a feeding tube in your MIL....I'm sorry for you and your family. One of Life's unfair decisions is lurking and I'm sending prayers to you.
Margaret: I haven't even begun looking for a dress! Did see the store Lisa posted and will check that out!
Gotta go get ready for work........gotta weigh in first......it's cold here and I don't want to weigh in cuz I'm wearing long pants and I usually have capri's on when I weigh!! How pathetic is that????
Love and Hugs,
Denise0 -
Good Morning Vickie, Nicki, Brenda, Denise and all from A - Z! I popped on here expecting to see a post from our dear Cheri. I chatted with her for an hour last night and she was Home!!! Hmmmm, I'm thinking she was tired and needed to go to sleep or the Cyber Monster that ate your post Brenda also got hers. Hopefully we'll see a post this morning from you Cheri. Marsha, how did things go for you yesterday?
I'll be back later
Love&Hugs
Charlene0 -
Good morning all,
Odalys, great news!!!!
Vickie, so glad you are feeling better. I hate throwing up, too.
Insurance companies suck. I sure hope we don't run into major problems now that we have switched.
I heard this morning that men who have stressed (from work) wives are at a 2.4% higher risk of having heart disease. I told Tony look what I did for you by quitting. LOL
SoCal, I looked up that site and they do have some nice clothes. I've bookmarked it.
Well, so far so good...I'm adjusting to being unemployed. I'm getting some things done around the house. We have guests this weekend so I need to get upstairs and clean it up. It's two friends of my BIL who are going for the NASCAR race. They will only be sleeping here and at Bristol most of the time.
Today, the rest of the staff is taking me to lunch. The bi*ch "allowed" them to do it. I got my last pay check and vacation pay (3 weeks) and an expense check yesterday and she didn't screw with any of it. I bet she hated to sign that big check.
Better run and get some more stuff cleaned up.
Hugs to all,
Betty0 -
Morning All,
102 posts! Holy Jamoly - how did that happen?
Nicki - Did you go back to work? I hope you're feeling better
Sam - love the name, and a big welcome to you!
Robin - so very nice to see you post!
Angel(baby) - so sorry about what happened to poor Audrey, I just don't get people sometimes - and I really don't get people who don't bend over backwards to be kind to children
Madison - hope you had a nice visit with DD, and that she doesn't need a new car or something! LOL
Susan - I've never heard of mobic, it's really scary the extent to which we need to be our own advocates isn't it? It's not that I don't have great respect for doctors, I do, but I'm always aware that they are just people, who don't know everything!
Vickie - Did you write that poem? I love it! How are you Eeyore sister?
CY - I'm am endlessly amazed at your ability to "do stuff", I've needed to put a new lightbulb in the garage door opener light thing for over a month now - still not done! Root canal?!?!? Ay yi yi! I hope you get that taken care of soon. Thinking of you today, and praying your scans are all good, good, good.
Emelee - love the too pooped to party dog!
Candie - welcome! I cracked up at your signature line. One year my family drove from north jersey to the cape for vacation. My brother had just gotten his license, so we took 2 cars and I rode in his car with him. There was some sort of army convoy or something, and the drive took 9 hours. The car radio was broken and the only 8-track (yes, I said 8-track! I'm old!) he had was Aqualung. Now, I love Jethro Tull, but after 9 hours - yikes! Did I mention my brother hated me at that time and didn't speak to me for the entire 9 hours? Good times! LOL
Margaret - welcome back from Sin City! I had the same reaction to Mamma Mia - and I liked Abba! I had a bird's nest in my dryer vent once too! A friend but a wire screen over it after they were gone so it wouldn't happen again. (But I'm confused, you're talking about your clothes dryer, not a hair dryer right?)
Liz - sorry about MIL, hope BIL can come to terms with it and do what needs to be done soon, I know from experience that it just makes it harder on everyone to wait too long. Thinking of you...
Brenda (Naniam) - a big "woo hoo!" to you on 2 years! Breathe away!
Denise - hugs girlfriend! no more invalid for you!
Pam - congrats on Queen's Ball, that's impressive. I hope your back is feeling better, can you take Advil?
BMD - Glad you had some fun company - I love having people in my house, especially since it's usually just me and Warren.
Odalys - 4th grade! Such a big year for them, not one of the "little kids" anymore, but still at least a year left before they are the "big kids" (at least at Warren's school.) Praying for good results for you and your sister. xoxo
Z - praying for good results for you too! I finally figured out how to put a background on myspace - it's really cute!!
Deb - cheesecake in a cone? yum! I love to break off pieces of elephant ear and dip them in chocolate pudding. You really need to try that sometime. (Of course, I also love peanut butter and bacon sandwiches on wheat toast, so what do I know? LOL) More bears, and bold ones too!
Good morning Nicki!! (Except I'm in a time warp, and I'm only at your 8/20 Good Morning post! I need to stop here though, as I need to get packing (going to my Dad's in NJ.) Sounds like you're feeling better, I'm so glad! You keep getting better physically, and then you can decide what will work best for you emotionally and mentally. A trip to someplace warm, just you, a pool,a good book, and the sunshine during the day, and then some room service, a good book, and a class of wine sounds pretty darn good to me! Sounds like heaven actually.
Sorry to those I missed - wondering where Amy, lini, gina, shirley, sheri, tracey (snowman girl, where are you?), iris, armynavymom, christine, shokk, sorry - brain's giving out... love to all A to Z
PS. Is Cheri home yet?0 -
OK, my post brought me to the last page, and I couldn't resist scrolling up ("real quick" as Warren would say)
Good news for Odalys! woo hoo!
Betty got a nice lunch at least - so good you're out of there...
Cheri is HOME!!! (thanks for letting us know Charlene)
Denise - you are just too cute! love you and hugs to you, weigh ins are evil
Nicki slept, Vickie's migraine is better, lini posted a cool list (going to print that too), welcome to rita jean, margaret posted a picture of something - I forget what, ummm.... this is like one of those memory games - how much can you remember from on quick read?0 -
Visiting, didn't know what this site was all about until now. Cool wagons, yippi yo yippi yay ki a...
Don't know how it works, or even if I'm allowed to be here...my thoughts and prayers are always.
Indi0 -
Morning all, this working for a living is getting to me LOL. I got up three times last night so I don't sleep well. Maybe tonight.
Pam, thanks for putting Puppy in the middle of th circle. You were up late last night.
Lisa, have never been to Drapers and Damon - I think there is one in the strip mall by my house.
Charlene, take those steak leftovers and slice them thin and top a salad. Yum.
Nicki, you ARE going to that wedding this weekend. You WILL be wearing that new dress. Glad you are participating in the secret pal - what a lot of people did was go to yahoo and sign up under a new name and use that email address to send emails and cards or snail mail to someone else and have them mail the card/letter/package for you.
Vickie, hope your headache is better now. I haven't had a migraine since my diagnosis - go figure.
Brenda, I have had that happen....frustrating. Being in California, we have gone through drought seasons, this is not one of them.
Cheri, looking for news on you and Amber.
Denise, I used to weigh in wearing jeans - adds three lbs to your weight.
Missing many this morning. Thinking of you all.
Love to all from Amy to Z.

LOL Vickie .. here's the letter I sent to the nasty horse woman (she's no lady!) yesterday. I'm still waiting for a response. I wonder if I should resend it .. maybe do so every day until I get an answer! She could probably get me for harrassment though. What do you think ladies?
Good morning Barb, or I hope that you find it to be a better one than yesterday. My young daughter got up extremely early yesterday to take a two hour car drive for her first ever horse trail ride which she had an appointment for. Needless to say she was very excited about this and had been looking forward to it for some time. All summer she kept wanting to know if she could go riding on a horse. I'm sure you can appreciate her anticipation. I bet you've seen the joy on many a young child's face who had the pleasure of experiencing a horse trail ride at your estate. So my eight year old child gets there with her step dad and is met by what I'm told is a mad woman (that's angry, or maybe you can take it the other way if you see fit) who looks her straight in the eye and says "You're not riding today". I'm told this mad woman was yelling and ended up threatening and telling my young daughter and her step dad to "Get off my property" and then drove away in her nice expensive Hummer. Now my daughter does not come from money and doesn't get to experience the kind of joy we were anticipating for her on that day very often. It's a special thing, if you can appreciate that. Not that it matters because I'm beside myself that anybody would be treated the way they were and especially an eight year old child. Your web site is quite misleading if this is how your clients are typically treated. Are you the said mad woman who disappointed my child and showed her how mean even adults can be? My daughter told me this mean woman was having a temper tantrum. So they drove two hours back home with nothing to show for it but an ugly experience, a waste of their precious time and a waste of precious gas. She got up earlier than she should have and spent a lot of time just to encounter another truth in life ... That it is full of disappointments and ugly people. Which my daughter has experienced far too many of in her young life due to the insensitivity of this society she lives in. I cannot fathom what went wrong and why but demand an explanation.0 -
Hi all,
I feel so out of the loop right now. Things have been nuts here, and I've been reluctant to post all my whining and complaining since everyone else is going through so much right now. I also haven't had more than a few minutes every day to check in, but I'm hoping things will be a little more calm this week.
So, quickly...
Cheri, I am so glad that you are home and on the mend! I've been keeping you and Amber in my prayers.
Odalys, WONDERFUL news about you and your sister!
Nicki, what a crappy way to spend your vacation! Feel better soon.
Angel, WTH is wrong with that horse woman??!! My daughter probably would have handled it just like Audrey did...and I would have been the one having the meltdown!
Colleen, I love the photo of you and Warren. You both look great!
Gina, I'm dealing with more insurance crap too, and I completely understand your frustration. I can't believe how difficult it is for you and for my son to get the medical services that you so obviously need. The insurance company has unleashed the psycho mom in me, and I hope that they get so sick of me that they finally give in. Let me know if you have any luck with the AG, though! I haven't gone that route yet.
I am missing so many, but I have to run to an appointment at my son's school. I'll try to check in later tonight!
I miss visiting with all of you! You are all in my thoughts!
Love,

Wooohooo Cheri is home. We need an Amber update and when do they think the results will be back.
Adrionna and Margaret, dont you just love buying something like that dress knowing you will not wear it again.
Nicki-glad to hear you got some rest. Thats a good sign.
Sherndon-ooey gooey and cancer of behind the knee,,lol. I know its not funny but typical of how our thoughts go.
NS-Dont you dare not think you can come here and rant. We all do it and you started this thread so get your butt here before we come drag you to the center and tie you down.
Indigo-everyones welcome here,,,no problem.
Vickie-hope the migraine has moved on.
Betty-glad you are adjusting to unemployment. Got a good mental picture of the B having to sign that check,,lol.
WildJan-sorry about the DH-kinda surprised they let him put his weight on it but then again,,I'm no doc.
Brenda-we are extreme here also. Geothermal is a cool way to heat and cool your house but scary when we have no rain. We had 14 days over 100 and then yesterday was 99 but today over 100 again. I've had enough of it.
Robin-love the attitude you have. I bet evil is wondering whats going on when you laugh in his face. You know he cant figure it out.
Susan-any job luck yet?
ok didnt take notes and brain has ran dry. I shall return.

ADRIONNA>that pic is hilarious!
MARSHA>So what did this new BS have to say?
Hubby's leg break was 4 spirals on his bigger leg bone, twisted his foot completely backwards during the accident. His smaller bone was a jagged break. The one complete break was right at his boot top, thats the one that isn't healing and its been 14 months since the accident. He's got plates and screws on both bones. Had one plate replaced in Feburary as it had broken on the smaller bone. Had several broken screws removed/replace and more put in during the surgery in May along with the chemical to bind the complete break.
Here's a picture showing some of his xrays.
The pic to the right, the very middle of the bigger bone where there is one screw next to the word broken screws is where the complete unhealed break is. You can see one of the broken screws at the very bottom of the same picture, the head of the screw isn't even with the rest of it. This pic also shows the new plate on the smaller bone. The other 3 spirals are hard to see in all the pics. Never had a cast on it, only a splint in the hospital the first week until they could do surgery a week later. That caused a pressure sore on his heel that just recently closed up fully.
I have to put on my thinking cap to figure out how we are going to get the round bales rolled out this winter. Don't have a tractor so we literally push the bales out. I can't do it to prevent lymphademia, hubby was going to do it this winter thinking his leg would be healed up. I'm sure he can't do it after the latest news. Last winter my son in law came out and pushed the bales out but I won't ask him again unless its the last resort because I don't feel its fair to him to have to do it just so I can keep my horses. I've been thinking of how I might be able to move my electric tape fence as I need a bale. Have the farmer that delievers my hay with his tractor and trailer drop the bales in certain spots and move the fence as they need one. Only problem with that is moving the posts, the ground here can harden so much they can't be pulled out. Same could happen during the winter freezes. I can't leave a post inside where they could impale themselves on it. So gotta really think about this.
I'm going to color my hair today and get rid of the gray, probably go light brown. Hubby seemed okay about it when I told him I was thinking about it.0
