so Nicki, did you go to work today? Are you better?

Charlene thanks for the information on cymbalta/effexor. I have been taking an anti-depressant since dx and I'm so tired of dealing with my pain so why not try this. I will call my doc.

SoCalLisa what a great picture of your granddaughter. Such a cutie.

Cheri, have you left yet? So glad you are coming home. I hope you are not driving home in awful rain. It's raining like crazy here at the moment. Praying for an easy day for Amber.

Odalys thanks for explaining. I hope you both get good results very soon. It's so hard to wait. Stay safe from the storm, hear? Oh you just posted about your sisters results. Hurray!

Madison, my husband claims I get a little crazy on anti-depressants. I don't see it.

LIz, I hope someone talks to your BIL about your MIL. The way it is is so hard on everyone.

Christine, how's your hand and I hope your roof is at least patched. Is it raining there?

Cheryl CY good luck with your scans. I don't know how you keep up with everything your are doing. Good luck with the root canal. hugs and prayers for you too.

Vicki, have you heard from DD? Hope everything is ok.

Margaret, I love Santa Maria tritip. I used to live in Santa Barbara. We went to a casino the other day in OK. It was fun. I love video poker. hahaha

I just watched the Oklahoma rescue in Kingfisher OK. Wow.

Naniam, congrats on the two year anniversary.

Denise you should make a copy of your posts just in case. LOL I know how it is the one time you don't make a copy is when it doesn't work.

Pam, sounds like the queens ball was wonderful with the dancing and all. Sorry you are in so much pain.

    Z praying for B9 results.

Deb, good luck with the bears. I wish I had some better advice but that's just a little out of my realm of experience.
I told my dh about cheesecake in a cone. He wants some.

Shirley how great to get together with other circle sisters. I would be afraid if you were coming to kick my butt.

Jankay, hope your computer is fixed soon.

    love to all

    Good Morning!

My mouth is frozen......can't talk but I can still read and write! The Dentist Office called me at 7:20a and had an opening........WTH........pay backs for me calling him over the weekend! Anyhow, through some clothes on and hit the road...It's only 40 minutes away, but it is raining cats and dogs here! Root canal is started.......oh so much fun!

I think I'll throw my notes from the weekend away and start fresh. Geesh.......I was only on here a few minutes last night and wrote (using my weekend notes) and poof....that stupid 'invalid' monster got me!
I'm gonna read abit and I'll be back!
    Hugs,

It is actually a funny story.

Great new Odalys...hugs and prayers for you too.
Hi Deb...welcome home...glad you had a good time. In charge of the morgue...oh lovely.
Amy...I want a puppy...whine whine. They are so adorable!

Ok...stressful miserable day...DD just called and they left yesterday from Florida to the Bahama's and they are now in...Florida...LOL. Seas were very rough so I guess they are heading out at 4 today and see if it's any better! I think I'd be goin home.

Nate biological mother (my wonderful half sister) is writing continous nasty emails to me that she wants Nate back...she should have never given him to me (she had no choice...the courts took him)...I will never get Derrick (poor kid)...on and on and on. She's just flippin crazy. I wrote back to her this morning to stop or else. I will go to the judge if I have to...she doesn't know what kind of trouble she'll be in if I have to resort to that. The judge has no use for her at all and told her to never get pregnant again. He told me if she ever started to harrass me I was to contact him immediately and he would put a restraining order on her. Oh what a friggin mess. The last thing I wanted was to fight with her but for some crazy reason she's got a bug up her butt.

nuf about me...sorry...just too much some days.
    Love to all

    Gina...where are you?????????????????

Hi all! My ds called from the Shore and told me since it was raining they braved the boardwalk and had deep-fried Oreos with vanilla ice cream and choclate sauce. OMG, make them illegal along with Deb's elephant ears!

B4 I forget...CherylG, I have never had 'puter problems from posting pics. I don't go to photobucket to get them. I do it the way Snowman n Thongs/Tracey taught me.
    1. Fidn a picture or cartoon from a site for myspace graphics or google a phrase and go that site with a pic.
    2. Right click on the subject.
    3. A dialog box comes up. Go to the bottom of the box and click on 'properties'.
    4. Highlight and copy the url (http://, etc.) Make sure you get the whole url all the way to where it says 'gif' or 'jpg'.
    5. go to where you want it in the post.
    6. type [image] then right click and paste then type [/image] at the end of the image url you pasted.

I told Margaret the same things and she used to post more pics too, LOL. It does take time though but I have never gotten the 'exceeded bandwidth' on an image. It does not work on all pics but about 99?% of them.

Vickie, do you think blocking her email is enough to get the message across? Maybe you should go to the judge. I always say trust your gut and your first instinct.

Nicki, glad to hear you are feeling better.

Cheri, have a wonderful welcom home and I hope Ambver gets good results.

(((Odalys))) Love to hear good news! Still keeping everythign crossed for you too!

Deb, you do lead an exciting life with bears and moose and chickens and maybe a volcano? Put these things down and make a book about your life. If we all love to hear it so will the rest of the world and why deprive others of the joy of your story-telling!

Charlene, there are some great riding trails I understand in the Bucks and Chester County areas. Is that too far to drive to? What about near the Brandywine in Delaware, like the Kennett Square area? I hope this doesn't sour Audrey on riding or on other adults!

Joyce, hugs to Kevin. I still have to download the supplies list for Eric and get him ready. He is in Wildwood with his father and if I know my ex, he will find a way to blame either me or Eric or both of us for the rain they are having.

Madison, yup, Elvis is gone! I thnk the meds are working because I have not had a fever over 99.8! How is your dd? Praying you and the others in the South do not get any bad weather!

Karen, your schools start early as does Odalys's. Only one district in our area starts before Labor Day. I know that when I was on an anti-depressant it took a while to get over the tiredness. Then I was much better. That was way back when I first separated over 10 years ago. Now there are more choices too for meds. Sending big hugs.

OK, need a favor from all of you. My good friend from high school has had an enlarged liver for quite some time. They did tests and found she has an "M" protein or enzyme in her blood. This is a red flag for things like myeloma and luekemia. She is only 47 and is walking with a walker and mostly in a wheelchair. I know there are those of you who understand being in a wheelchair and not knowing what put you there. And we all knw how it feels to wait for that path report. Her father died last year from myeloma and she thinks she might get it too as it may be hereditary. I need to google it and find out what it is exactly but she is very upset. Please say some prayers for her too. Thank you.

Just a quick pop in. I never made it to work. Took a shower and went back to bed. I had a weeks vacation scheduled for next week, so I called and flip flopped them, so at least I will be off the rest of this week. Get me back on my feet again.

Odalys: Congratulations on your baby sister. Still hugging you tight waiting for your results.

Just one of those days everything feels weird and out of sync from the moment of waking up...like maybe I should just go back to bed and try it again LOL!
Don't know why I feel this way but I just don't feel "normal" today.

    Prayers for Beth's friend...

Odalys, great news on your sister's biopsy.....chanting B9 for you also
Vickie, you DO NOT deserve any nastiness directed at you. Nate is a wonderful young man because YOU love and care for him. I think the seas are a bit stirred up at the moment....the cruise lines should make a decision based upon weather forecasts.......praying all will be okay
Mizsissy-tomorrow will be better for you.....we will hold you close and pray all will be better
Amy, now you have gone and done it....those puppies are so cute.....the boxers are beautiful....yep, if DH wouldn't leave the house I would be taking more animals into my home.
DebC- YIKES-BEARS....they can be dangerous....keep that shotgun loaded and ready.....glad you had a wonderful time this weekend
Susan, be careful….I did see where you would be getting rain today. The flooding in TX and OK is horrible. My mother took Mobic and said it didn’t do anything to help her pain.
Denise, root canal at the early time of 8:00 a.m…………..not fun, take it easy and rest the rest of the day
Nicki, you need to rest….and I’m glad you decided to take another day at home to rest
SoCalLisa….great advise to back up your photos. We didn’t have back up on our last computer-it crashed and we haven’t been able to recover photos……learned our lesson and now do back-up
Z, waiting to hear from you and praying for B-9 results
Liz, know you are really stressed right now….sending hugs your way (How is MIL?)
    Puppy, sending prayers to you……
Beth, glad the medicine is helping with the infections. A friend of mine had an enlarged liver-her blood work showed she had some type of disease where she made too much iron and the solution to her problem was to donate blood (or draw blood) every so often to reduce the amount of iron. Hoping your friend gets good news
Cheri should be on her way home from the hospital…….I wonder if she will see the magic carpet escorting her home
    Wildabouthorses…sorry today feels topsy-turvy
    MB-good morning

Need to get back to work (shhhh, don’t tell)

I’ll check in during the day to see how everyone is
    Z and Odalys-praying B-9
    Cheri-have they sprung you yet?
    Nicki-rest, rest and get better
    Marsha-doctor’s appointment
    ---who else had appointments today?----

Know I missed alot (just sneaking in at the office)

Hugs from Amy (which includes hugging those puppies) to Z

Hey Madison thanks for the complements. Bo and Bean are boston terriers though. Bo's real name is Bo Sox and no I am not a Boston fan and Bean is for Boston Baked beans.

Vickie-surprised the cruise lines didnt make better judgement or something based on weather reports but what do I know?

Nicki-glad to see you stayed home. You need to rest my dear.

Deb-Cant wait for the story. Sometimes it pays to go to meetings just so you dont get the stuff nobody else wanted, huh? Maybe if you want a puppy that is my reason to get to Alaska,,hmmm, my checkbook says No,,loudly!

ok off to pretend to get more work done.

    Good Afternoon All!!!!

Aaaaaccccckkkkkkkk!!!!! I am having such board withdrawal!! I am a total Boardaholic! The outlaws are on their way home to Georgia, and I'm trying to get the house back together again. You can't get much done with a houseful of people.

I can't begin to try to catch up with everyone. I know that Nicki is recovering from pneumonia, Cheri is finally coming home (yippee!!), Vickie's loony half sister is giving her a hard time, Odalys got good news, someone was mean to Charlene's daughter, Deb has bears (oh my!), JanKay's computer is back, SoCal's little GD is beautiful and poor Denise had root canal at the crack of dawn!

We had one of our famous wild and crazy parties on Saturday. I got up at 6:15 Sunday morning and made breakfast for 7 people. DH, his dad and stepmom came down for a short time and then everyone disappeared. I sat downstairs by myself for an hour before I realized that everyone had gone back to bed. Crap. I was so tired last night that I totally slept through the night and I could use a nap right now.

The party was a great success, since no one had to go to the hospital or got sick. I did slice open my thumb, but not bad enough to warrant a trip to the ER. Of course I cut myself on the LE side. I do it every time!

Well, I must go back downstairs and put sheets in the dryer and run another load. BBL

    Hey all!
Shhhh.......maybe if the boards don't realize I'm here the alien cyber monster guy won't eat my post!

Well, I've gone from the ouch of an absessed tooth, to hitting the Dentist office at the butt crack of dawn, to the dreadful numbing gunk and drilling and filing......, and now the yucky numbing wearing off tingling feeling!!

I hope this nasty Dean isn't hurting any of you. The flooding in and around Texas and OK are making me a tab bit nervous. And I haven't seen a post from Shokk yet today.
    Shokk: Are you okay????

Colleen: You've got a Son to be proud of, for sure! Hope the cold hasn't got you down.

Charlene: 3rd. fill and ouch. How many of these things do you have to have? I don't remember if Mom is still with you or not.......hope so, sounds like you need to rest.
Give little Audrey hugs from me. That mean witch.....what a way to treat a child. Be thankful that she didn't get to ride......that baracuda shouldn't be trusted. How nice that Karl took her to the Arcade!!

Karen: Kids in school already..........summer is fleeting. I do hope that you are feeling better on all counts.

Okay........so 95% of us are on anti-depressents and one type or another of the anti-hormone crap. Now they say that we shouldn't be taking the anti's with the crap! WTH....have I (we) been taking it and suffering the SE's for 3 1/2 years for nothing? You'd certainly think atleast one of the 50 Doc's we see would know about this.

Madison: Sneaking in from work, eh? Good for you....work is overrated anyhow! Shhh....don't tell my DH that. My hours have been reduced so dramatcially that I feel like I'm not even working.
How's your DD doing? I certainly hope she is on the mend.

Vickie: DD is still in FL.!! DH said that cruise lines always steer around the storms and the only thing that could happen is they wouldn't make some of their ports. Guess that is supposed to make you feel better! I do hope all goes well with wherever they go.
Tell that Crazy Lady to put her threats where the sun don't shine. I'd contact the courts just for the record if nothing else. Don't you worry......you've got atleast 40 'sisters' to stand up and support you against all evils.

WildJan: Discombobilated eh? (love my spelling!) Hey, Dear, none of us are 'normal' which is why we are all friends!! Seriously, hope all is well. Don't know if I told you or if it was in the post the Cyber Monster got........were you here when my DH 'fixed' my dryer and I posted the picture? Hey if you want I'll send him right on over!
I, also love the curls you're getting!!!!

Speaking of curls which I have none of.....naturally. I left here so fast this morning when the Dentist called that I scared myself looking in the mirror! I told them when I went in that I wanted their Hair and Makeup person. Yikes!

Nicki: Glad that you are feeling better and I'm glad that you decided to take more time off. You've had some hard weeks lately. I know that your DH has said some pretty hateful things lately and I wish I had an answer for you. Instead, I know you love him and I wish he would wake up and realize what he has in you.....you've done way more than your share in the marriage. We're all here for you.

Marsha: Loved the pic of you and Shirley! Holy Moly....two tiny little ladies we have!! Hope you enjoyed last night with your friend and I really hope today goes well with the new surgeon. Let us know.

Robin: Hey lady! Sounding good down south.......Love the new attitude! Did you really have to change the appointment that you've waited so long for?? I so hope not. You take both effexor and paxil? The effexor has helped you with joint pain?

Susan: When is your biopsy? I was thinking you already had it....but that must have been the UltraSound. What's up? Meaning why are they doing a biopsy? I haven't heard of Mobic either....is it for pain or an anti-depressant?

Cy: Now you're hanging drywall? Girl, you put us all to shame..........either that or you're just plain crazy!! Did I read that you are having tooth trouble too? Gotta love it..Mine just pop up overnight!

Lisa: Little one's playing soccer.........so fun to watch! I can't believe your GD is 3 months already! She sure is a cutie! Love Grandbabies!!

Candie: Welcome Home to you!! Nice to meet you......we are a bit unstable at times, but nice and fun too!!

Sam: Welcome to you also! Glad you have joined us!

Margaret: Las Vegas! Haven't been there in years! Sounds like you had a grand time with your friends! Did I thank you for the interviewing you are doing for me?? The one prospect you showed a pic of looks just right for the job!!

Cy: Wishing you good results on your upcoming scans!

Liz: Sorry to hear that your MIL is back in the hospital. Also sorry that your BIL is not willing to accept the whole picture. That happens alot with Hospice. Hospice is not an automatic Death Sentence, but it is a way of making sure that the time she has left is spent in comfort and with dignity. Good luck.

Okay, gonna send this post off before I become invalid....gonna copy it first!! I'll be back in a few to finish!

    Hugs,
    Denise

Madison I'm glad Dean is gonna leave you alone. We had rain this morning but no bad storms. I think it's left over from some tropical storm.

Vickie I'm so sorry you have to deal wth crazy step-sister. She should be grateful she has someone like you in her life to help.

Amy the puppies are so cute. I want a puppy. (small one Cheri, not those adorable huge babies you have LOL)

Denise I have an endometrial biopsy scheduled. To tell you the truth I don't know when. Pretty soon. I am menopausal and I have been spotting. <grimace> Hope you mouth quits hurting soon. or else you get good drugs

Jan, make sure your thumb does not get infected, OK?

Angel, same for you, get good drugs.

Mobic is a cox inhibitor from what I understand.

Hey biker glad to see you survived. It never fails that its always the LE side for me also but then again I'm always doing something. I know when I go for treatment they are looking at my arms wondering where all the scratches come from. What can I say, I live in the woods.

Madison,,I will never tell your DD. If they were boxers though somebody forgot to give them legs,,lol. They are both rescues and are the lovingest things. Bean cant be still long enough for me to get a picture of her by herself. Well I do have one but only because a toy was being held.

Angel, hoping you feel better soon.

Dont forget to keep Amber in your thoughts today. Sending positive vibes her way.

PS-Just look at the dog in the pic and pay no attention to the work boot.

See what I mean? I copied the last post and it went through without needing to be pasted. Big pout........the cyber monster is playing with me!

    Anyhoooo......

Brenda: Yahoo on the two years since DX! Of course it is a milestone........and twenty two years from now we'll all still be chatting and congratulating one another!

Mandy: Congrats on your 18th anniversary! Deja Vu here...I feel like I already said that, but hey twice is better than not at all!

Z: Waiting anxiously to hear about your biopsy. Prayers to you.

Odalys: Great news on your sister!! I'm sure you are going to have great news also........waiting to hear.

Guz: You've been quiet lately.........hope all is okay!

Alwayshope: This just isn't gonna work. You must pop in and let us know that you are okay. Just ask Robin....I will track you down! Miss ya!

Gina: Hope all is okay with you..haven't seen hide nor hair of you in quite sometime now.

Pam: The Queens Ball sounds awesome! $3000 is great..are you doing the 3 day? You're a better woman than I if you are! I love the 3 mile walks, but don't have the courage for the 3 day! Dancing to "I will survive"......you certainly will! Of course all you do is bitch and moan......that's what we all do and why we are all such good friends!!

Charlene: About the med interactions.........never to much TMI. That's how we learn, teach and help each other!

Deb: Geesh lady........sure wish you led an exciting life!
Cheesecake in a cone.........OMG. That sentence just landed on my hips!!
Big-Ass Mama bear and her babies..........yikes. Sorry, that visual of a few months ago just came flashing back!! Just curious.........how do you know that the babies are 2 years old?

Shirley: Sounds like a good time with Elaine and the Chat girls! Glad you're heading home Saturday.........4am! What were you thinking??????

Amy: Love those pups! Which one is Vickie adopting? You are so right....the times I don't copy are the times when the cyber dude grabs my post. How's Tucker doing? School yet?

Puppy: Hoping you are having a better time of it lately. Hugs and prayers to you.

Mizsissy: {{{{Hugs}}}}.....are you still on vacation?

Beth: Deepfried oreo's with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Okay, Deb's creation landed on my hips and I just know that creation landed right in the butt!
Of course we will pray for your friend.

Joyce: Good to hear from you! Did you say you are training for a new position? I'm glad that Kevin is doing well....and kinda looking forward to school!

MB: How did the BBQ go? Hope you had a good birthday!

Jan: The outlaws have left the area!!!! And you survived!
Sounds like your party was another success..........laughing about the breakfast though! What did you do to your thumb? It wasn't one of those "pop tops" was it? Glad you didn't need to do an ER run though!

    Reminds me:
Christine: How is your hand doing? Are you still camping in the living room or have you moved back to the bedroom?

Okay, tooth is letting me know that it definitely got some action today...........from A to Z, thinking of you!

    Hugs,
    Denise

    p.s. Cheri....are you home yet?

    Amy: To darn cute..!

Yes, Amber is in my thoughts and I'm sorry I didn't mention it earlier. Cheri, let us know how Amber is doing when you get home and get a chance.

Susan: I had the spotting thing going on over a year ago. Only happened for one month so I didn't have to go the biopsy route. Certainly hope all goes well for you!

Good Afternoon: Just checking in. Today was the biggest flop. Like I mentioned earlier, I was all showered and ready to get dressed. I sat on the bed and realized I just couldnt do it. Im glad I have the rest of the week off to recover but disappointed I had to change my vacation plans. We were not going anywhere special just the zoo and stuff like that. I know Im getting better each day now. I see my PCP on Wednesday, and Im having along talk with him. This is just not normal to have all these lungs issues, colds, bronchitis, and pneumonia and all since my first chemo. I really think the chemo injured me in some way. My husband isnt getting sick from me! It used to be when one of us got sick we both did.

Sherloc: Good to here from you. Sure sounds like you had some fun with chat buddies.

MargaretB: Oh my I just got a good visual of San Francisco in my brain. I wont be heading anywhere soon though. Just used up all the rest of my sick and vacation days. For stupid pneumonia.

Amy: OMG Im laughing as I just read your post. It didnt take me long to figure it out at all did it?

SoCal: Mama Mia happens to be one of my favorite CD's. Im smiling, cause you are gonna recognize many - thats for sure.

Vickie: Sorry your half sister is giving you such a hard time. Just delete, delete, delete.

Jan: Sounds like the weekend was a hit. Glad to have you back.

Susan: I hope you get that biopsy scheduled and done with. Seems like there is always something hounding us.

So - this is about where my burst of energy fizzles out. Hope you all have a nice afternoon. A big hello to anyone I missed.

Fly by from work while I'm waiting for lunch to heat up.

Amy, thanks for the explanation. Actually, dad was a born and raised Texan but that's one term I never heard. Those puppies are too cute.

Lisa, Mama Mia was good, the songs were good, but I only knew like three of them and Mama Mia was one of them.....I'm glad I went with the girls though cuz it would not have been hubby's type of musical. He's great and will take me to see whatever I want but I think he might have been bored with it.

Odalys, CONGRATULATIONS on the good news for your sister - now we just need to hear yours....

Susan, I was so disappointed - there was leftover tritip and I packaged it in 3 packages for lunches - one for hubby, son and me; packed hubby's this morning and was going to have mine with a salad today at lunch.....hmmmm, son took both his and mine so had to have a Lean Cuisine.

Denise, root canal - ewwww, never had one but I have heard it hurts. Hubby went to his dentist over the holidays complaining about his tooth hurting; dentist did a root canal and next day hubby still complained about a sore tooth - went back and had to have another root canal - two in two days.

Vickie, I cannot believe your half sister. I don't think you have to worry about her threats. I also wouldn't waste my time responding to her. Beth has a good point, block her email.

Beth, deep fried oreos with ice cream and chocolate sauce....oh my. Your instructions are what I use to copy my photos but I do usually go into Photobucket, haven't had any problems though. Did have a problem with hubby's computer but I had not used Photobucket on his. Saying an extra prayer for your friend.

Wild/Jan, hope you are feeling better soon.

Denise, I'll really start concentrating on the interview candidates when I get this wedding out of the way....3 weeks and I don't have a dress!!!

Ok, back to work (well, at least it's easy today, bosses are gone).

Back later - after boot camp tonight if I'm not too tired.

Well, this has been some day.

I went to the post office to mail another appeal to the insurance company, more on that later, and I had a package waiting for me.

    Pinkstock Girls, THANK YOU.
Vickie, thank you for compiling all the wonderful mementos from the Hill.

I treasure each and every one of them and I cannot tell you it couldn't have come at a better time.

I was very emotional in the post office parking lot so I thought I better start driving to my next appointment. I put in the CD. Oh boy. I had to pull over because I was first crying then I started up again and was laughing and then I was blasting some of the songs and singing along... you ain't heard nothin till you have heard my rendition of The Devil Went Down to Georgia

My makeup was a mess- didn't have to worry about mascara tho since I have no lashes to put it on!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALWAYS MANAGING TO LIFT ME UP AND MAKE ME SMILE.

I haven't been posting because there is so much going wrong that all I will be doing is whining... and I don't have mets (that I know of!) and my problems seem so trivial compared to the girls here who are really having a tough time.

Suffice to say, the abraxane really got to me and the pain has been bad. My eye, the ruptured expander- all of that crap just started to get me down. THEN I find out that my insurance company has decided that my PS is never- EVER- allowed to touch me again. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS APPROVED BY THEM IN MARCH- and EVEN THOUGH IT IS A STAGED PROCEDURE- they have said I must use another doctor. They gave me two names- one specializes in Cleft Pallate repair and the other is a face lift doctor. NEITHER are breast reconstructive surgeons.

I am a special case because of my pre-radiated skin. And my PS is the only one who is skilled in allo-derm and who can handle radiated skin and they are saying NO.

They are even saying no to the surgery scheduled on Monday for the TE replacement. If that doesn't get replaced I will lose the pocket it created to hold the implant.

We have gone as high as the NY State attorney gen. and still nothing.

So I haven't been in the best frame of mind to be posting. I apologize.

Your box really cheered me up and I thank you all so very very much!!!

Love to each and every one of you,
    g

Well today still isn't going well after all. I can feel my allergies kicking in big time, could be the hard wind and little bit of rain we had stirred things up.

Also DH found out his complete break hasn't healed a bit since they put in a binding chemical in late May during surgery, thus the increased pain lately in his leg. Find out more later when he can tell me face to face.

Just got an email a good biker friend whos like a sister to me is in the hospital due to chest pains and passing out.

    No Surrender.

You should not worry about your problems not being large enough.
    1) Any thing that worries, bothers, etc. is large enough.
    2) Yours are enough problems to cause any of us to cry.

We are here to help each other. You have helped so many, but you must learn to let us help you. We love you, you know.
I think it is time for another doctor to send your insurance company a letter. Is there a medical school near you? Can you talk with the head of the plactic/reconstructive surgery instructor there. I had a bad problem with an insurance company in the past and believe me, getting a letter from a doctor that teaches this can work wonders. Especially, if that doctor tells them they are being idots and about to make more problems for you which will in return cost them much more money.

    God bless.

    Linda,
    Thank you so much.
My PS is writing another letter.
And we are even writing to my senator here in NY who happens to be Hillary Clinton. Maybe she can take this up as a campaign issue- apparently this is happening to a lot of women right now.
I don't know what is going to happen.
I am meeting with the Cleft Pallate doctor on Wednesday- I cannot believe I have to go to a Cleft Pallate doctor and show my ruptured tissue expander... I feel like I am in a Fellini movie sometimes.
I will mention to the PS office about a teaching hospital writing a letter. That is a really good idea.
    Thanks so much.
    Love,
    g

ADRIONNA (love your name as my daughter is Adrianne)I wasn't around when you shared your dryer repair pictures, please do share!

Odalys that is such great news!!!

NoSURRENDER>I can't believe the crap you are going through! Unbelievable! I thought I had it bad when my first BS was giving me the wrong info after a biopsy/lumpectomy. I had a second opinion and changed BS's, the second one said I did not need a snd for the left side because the cancer wasn't invasive and she found a tumor twice as big and invasive in the right because she ordered an MRI and ultrasound to check out both breasts! Even though the first doc said I had a big chance of getting cancer in the other (right) breast he never did anything to look further than the mammograms! I feel my second surgeon gave me a better chance to beat this. God knows how long I would have gone before this worse cancer had been found if I had stayed with the first doc! I don't understand the reasoning of your insurance recommending those docs to fix your breast????

    Sneaking in to say hello.

MargaretB: Guess I knew so many songs cause I was such a big ABBA fan and have their CD singing Mama Mia. Either that, or you just made me feel really old.

Gina: What a nice surprise to get a box full of memorable things from Pink Stock and it couldnt have come at a better time. I dont understand the Insurance not letting your PS do surgery. Seems like they have fought you tooth and nail through every step of this second journey. I think there is alot happening here in the circle to many of us. Sort of like things were happening last year when you started this thread. I hope no one ever fears talking about whats going on with them. We are here for you and there are times when you are here for us. No matter how big or small, our problems seems overwhelming to us as individuals. We come here because of the support we get. I come here to make people feel good and lately it seems like I have come here looking for alot of support. This whole journey stinks.

LInda: Are you the LKE I know from the chat room. I used to aways call you IKE. Very glad to see you.

Wild/Jan: Well you somehow knew when you woke up it wasnt gonna be a good day. I believe in Karma. Wondering if they are talking about putting rods in your husbands leg? Please let us know whats going on as soon as you can.

Have we heard from Odalys about here biopsy results?

NS: one more thing. Did your insurance take your doctor off their list? And if they did, dont they have someone that specializes in breast surgery. Insurance companies new motto is deny and delay. Good luck with getting this approved. Sahking my head at the unfairness.

Looking for Shokk, Jasmine, TGirl and many more

Hi, been reading, but not posting much. So sorry, NS, you are having all these troubles. Tooth troubles to some of you-yuck! Just had my 6 month check up and no cavaties. I am so happy!

School is going well. One of our teachers is going through a really nasty, unexpected divorce. I had written last winter or so that her husband had been fired from the church he'd pastored for 18 years. It had seemed at the time unfairly. She just found out the week before school started that there was physical evidence that the new church he was at had collected that proved he really did the things the other church accused him of. One of which was having an affair for 5 years with one of her best friends! He was also embezzaling, addicted to drugs and emotionally manipulating their 2 daughters for the last 2 years by telling them that he would kill them if they told their mother. She was devasted. He then threatened to kill her and checked himself into a psych ward. Tomorrow she has her meeting with the judge to get a restraining order. It's horrible.

Also, for those medical people out there, today I noticed a bump on the back of my leg and it was oozing. It wasn't a bite, but just looked like a large pimple that grew and the top popped off. I found it because I noticed it hurt, put my hand there and it was all goopy. Very strange! I have no idea what it is.

Marsha, I auditioned for Sugar Bean. Will find out tomorrow. I have mixed feelings. I want to do it, but am so busy and tired that I don't know if I have the energy right now. We'll see.

    See ya later!
