Good Morning Ladies and Peter!
Merry Christmas to you all!
Sorry I haven;t been on lately. I have small Bursts of energy and then long timmes of no energy. But I'm hoping that improves as I make myself rest. The family is being good about making sure I spend a good bit of time in bed.
Saw the Onc Friday and because the liver enzimes are up and the liver is quite a bit more swollen she has moved all test up to the day after Christmas. The on Friday we will start a new chemo regiem. Zoldea and Nevalbin. This way the can get to the brain leasions and back up what was done on with the gamma knife rads. She feel very optimistic that this will work for me. But she wants me to really stop working.
Not that I've been able to do much as far as work goes. So I guess I'm looking at short term disability for a while and will have to figure out a way to come up with the rest of the money to cover the mtg and car payments. I am filing for aid with the medical through the treatment center.
Well I rneed to lay down again but just had to come see you all.

Cy,
I especially want to wish you a Blessed and Happy Holiday Season. I saw pictures of you and your grandbabies on one of the other threads, they're beautiful. It's nice to see a face, to put with the name. Unfortunately, I don't know how to post pictures yet, but I'll learn ! Rest and get strong. Keeping you in my prayers.0 -

Coming on quickly after spending 7 hours with 30 in-laws at my house! Actually, I am beat down but the day itself was fine. Hubby has 8 siblings and they all get along great..........! Now tomorrow I get to deal with my Moody Sister and Niece along with Mom and others before I get to come home and have Christmas with my DD and her family!
Odalys: I am so glad to hear that your Mom is improving and is coming home! Like we all said..........Miracles do happen! What a great Christmas gift to your family!
Vickie: What.......God didn't move the chair for you after all your hard work??!! You have done a good job on all the sites cheering us up.....hope you and Nate (and Sarah) have a great Christmas!
MB: More like Sippy Cups for the road trip!!
Cy: You are one of our Miracles!! I'm glad the family is with you....and making you take care of you for a change!!
I want so badly to address all................after reading the first paragraph of this post........I think you'll understand why..............I'm beat!!
Merry Christmas to all!
Hugs,
Neesie
Where is Susan? Think I might give that girl a call.................I'll check the Hamptons first and see if she is tucked away with a Cabana Boy or if she is truly MIA!
Liz: Gotta get you cheered up, Dear Friend.........PM me and let me know what I can do to help you.....please!

hi all,
been finishing up Christmas. Denise I see you have filled up the van for the trip. Sounds like so much fun. Now I have to talk DH into this. He has been absolutely impossible lately.
We ARE going to do this. Where did you think Alaska was??
Deb C. I already have a GPS so I'll just put in your address. Now if I can just find the car keys before we go. They must be with the remote!!!
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very joyous holiday season.
hugs,
susan

Hi CG's, it's after midnight and I need to get to bed but wanted to check in and wish everyone a blessed, pain free, and joyous Christmas Day.
Miracles do happen. We brought mom home and had the most peaceful and fun filled Christmas eve dinner. Thank God we were able to have our "noche buena" dinner with mom. The highlight of the evening was Steven's musical show for the family. He wore his Santa Claus hat and played the piano and flute for us. What a nice evening we had.
Gosh, I'm so sleepy I almost fell asleep while typing the above paragraph. Good night everyone, pleasant dreams.
Merry Christmas! Love and hugs,

deb - that's ridiculous. You are more than welcome here. I've known you a long time and don't you even think of not coming here. Ignore negative people. They have sad lives. We will track you down.

I want to thank all of you who have been so supportive during this very difficult year. I hope the holidays and the new year bring health and happiness to everyone.

Merry Christmas to all; don't have time to address everyone except Slonedeb - don't know who said you weren't welcome, but that's ridiculous. Ignore them, as the ones who count want you here.
Coffee is ready so my quiet time will be ending shortly; so everyone have a very Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas To Everyone!
Its been so hectic for me. Finially I have a moment to come here and say hello.
Today is a special day, and I am reminded about how special each and everyone of you are to me. Those that are in the circle and those who are at other places here on the boards.
You are my family also, and I just wanted to spend a few moments with you all.
Slonedeb: I dont know what that was all about, but you are very special to us. Liz and I remember you from the chat and I hate to see you going through such a hard time. Whoever told you that you were not wanted around here is just wrong and please ignore whatever they said. One of the reasons I come here is to check up and see how you are doing. So if you dont come back here I will pout and I will be sad too.
CY: It was good to hear from you. I have to agree with your onc. You need all of your energy right now to fight this newest battle. That new chemo combo sounds like it is really gonna take care of things. I hate that your not feeling well and that you have to go for somemore tests tomorrow. Sending lots of love your way.
Vickie: yes we certainly have mssed each other this whole past week. Life has just become so hectic and with the Holidays so stressful for me. I had such a hard time yesterday at my SIL's. Realized that 2 years post chemo - I still have issues at social gatherings and this was my family. Lots of babies and kidlets crying and running around and being noisy. Sat there with a terrible headache. Was anxious the whole time. Put a xanax and a darvocet in a little container and forgot to bring it with me. Was so glad to get home and run back into my comfort zone.
Neese: Sounds like you are having a wonderful Christmas. Im exhausted just reading about what your doing. Got a new pair of jammies yesterday and I have been in them ever since we got home last night.
Susan: I say lets just get 2 cages. One for your DH and one for mine.
Odalys: What a wonderful thing. To have your mom be with your for Christmas dinner. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
Bren: If we are still on that same psychic feeling, you will know today Im sad for some reason. Dont know why - just am.
Margo: Hoping your day is going wonderful.
Liz: Merry Christmas to a very good and old friend.
Gracie: Happy Birthday to you. Hope you got double the presents!!
Shrink: Hoping your day is a good one.
Charlene: Hugs back atcha.
Cheri: You are missed and Im hoping you had a wonderful Christmas with your family.
I know as usual I have missed many, but I hope you all have a wonderful day. Treasure these moments.

Hey Nicki,
I just got in from 2+ hour drive one way to North Carolina at Mr. Tim's sis' house for Xmas dinner. Yea ... we're still on the same radar. Thought about you all day. I understand.
To all you swell ladies ... I love you all ... you just can't even begin to imagine how much and how my life has change with each and every one of you in it.
Love,
Bren
PS - Nicki, I remembered to bring the Darvocet and Ativan, but didn't take it in case I had to drive home. There is, of course, a long story here ... but I'm going to skip it for now.
