My dear sweet sisters I didnt mean to worry you I am sorry the message I got didnt come through pm it came to me in a christmas card on dec 24th i couldnt make out the state it came from but it was really hurtful I dont think ive said anything to anyone on here as far as i know i came here for support and you all gave loveing and kindly to me thanks so much i just read mena isnt doing well please tell her she is in my prayers i first met her in 2005 she is so sweet but girls i will be back regular and hope i find all you ladies doing well god bless deb from ky

Liz, sure hope you feel the love and concern everyone has for you. The difficulties we face are so much easier when we have friends that travel the journey with us. We are all praying for a good report.
Sloandeb a Christmas card that you received on Christmas Eve - that is so cruel. Liz is right though - someone has to be awfully miserable in their own life to do something like that. I'm sorry that happened to you but I hope the rest of us have shown you that we welcome you, we care, and we're just glad you are back. Hope you are doing better health wise.
WildJan, I make me tired thinking of all that has to be done!! House is straightened for the next round of family to celebrate Christmas. Don't have any groceries for this yet and since we have a pizza, sub and salad shop, well, Friday night might just be a pizza night for everyone. I hope Nicki is right and all goes well with your son's travel plans.
Hubby got his injection today - told him it would be 3-7 days before he would see any improvement. If this one doesn't work, he can have another one in January.
It looks as if many of you are going to see white tomorrow - think we might see gray; just hope our gray brings more liquid stuff our way. Just stay safe everyone.
Vickie, did Nate have a good Christmas? How are the puppies.
There is someone I'm missing that was having surgery before Christmas; haven't seen a post from her. Of course, being tired and late at night doesn't help the name come to me.
Better close and get to bed. Tomorrow - heck it is almost tomorrow - got to get up early. Can I tell you guys that I really hate to use that slicer!! Boring and my body doesn't like standing pretty much in one position while doing that chore.

hi all!
We had a wonderful prime rib dinner Christmas Eve with Charlie and her hubby. Christmas morning we went to Charlies for a fmail breakfast. then we can home for naps and woke up to a white Christmas1 It made me so Happy. Only lasted a few hours but it was Great!. Then the kida came over for dinner and presants. It was so fun! Cloe loved her gutair! she asked if it was Poppies and got the biggest smile when we told her it was hers! she sat strumming it for almost 30 minutes.
Mena my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will try to call in the next day or so.
Things has been busy with family around. My niece and Nephew came over tonight. He's only here for less than 48 hours but made sure to take time to come see me.
Well I'm getting tired so will sign off for tonight.

Good Morning Everyone. I actually woke up early enough to post. Yes we are gonna have a snowstorm here in the Chicago end of the circle. They are predicting 3-5 inches by nightfall and that doesnt include Lake effect snow. So Im gonna go to work early and try to get home before driving gets bad.
Hello sunshine sister Vickie: Yes its the big "S" - isnt it crazy. The day after Christmas it was 40 degrees and I took a little walk along the shores of Lake Michigan. Today snow! And to think we have 3 more months of this. Yucko!
Liz: Yep seems like whatever weather you get, comes this way. Once I am home, Im not gonna care about the snow as DH isnt working and we have lots of food in the house. But driving around Chicago in the snow stinks and I have to go to work for at least a little bit. Hope you can get the results of the scan today. Hate to think you would have to wait over the week-end. Sending lots of love your way.
Slonedeb: You dont know how happy I am to see a post from you. There are many of us here that know you and Mena from the chat in 2005 and you are both in our hearts. Im sorry that someone would be so cruel to send such an evil thing to you around the Holidays. That is really one mean spirited person. You have never said anything to hurt anyones feelings here. You have always been one of the sweetest persons I know and Im glad you are my friend. It aches my heart to know your feelings were hurt on Christmas Eve. But look around - there are so many that care about you.
Whoever sent this Card to Slonedeb, all I can say is shame on you. Why? Why? Just remember what comes around, goes around.
Christine: So good to hear from you. I have been thinking about you alot and have been missing you. Im so glad the Holidays are over as I want to get back to normal whatever that is.

Brenda/Naniam: I am so lost with many sisters as the holidays were just crazy and with working I had very little computer time. I know there are many sisters missing and I hope after the Holidays are over we will hear from them. Im glad your DH got the injection and hoping it works. Are you working today? Yep - snow here today. I cant wait until Spring.
CY: It was good to hear from you and Im so glad you had a good Christmas. How did your liver scans go? I hope everything is well.
You all are not gonna believe this. You know how when the weather is warm I take my Mister for walks? Well on the news yesterday, a man was shot in the head while walking his dog in the same town I live in! Now mind you, this is a nice suburb of Chicago. They are saying it was an attempted robbery! Guess I wont be walking my dog after dark.

Wedding number 2 of the Holiday week is tonight...........that's just wrong!
This one is the first Grandchild on Husbands side to get married...........so I'm sure it will be a LLLLLLLLong night................Me wanting to go home and DH having a good time. Normally he doesn't like going anywhere, but I just know that this being his niece and he will know alot of the guests......I'm in for it. Plus, I'll probably have to drive home from where ever it is.........hope the weather holds off.

We are going to need a big car/van/bus. I have a tiny car, seats 4. Either we get a bus or we will have to rotate people in and out. Or stick someone on the roof. Hmmm.....maybe we could use Mazer and the magic carpet and pull people on that. I know, we will rent an RV. woohoo.

Hi everyone, thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and love. I heard from the onc's nurse. Bone scan was inconclusive and I have a PET scan on Monday. So who wants to tell me what to expect for that one? LOL

Hello Everyone. I came home early - its snowing pretty good but not too bad if your used to driving in snow. Its gonna end up being a nice day. Im home. DH doesnt have to work. We have food. We have booze. What else could a girl ask for?
Neese: Oh I just laughed so hard. We really are connected. And since this storm is worse north, I would suspect your in for about 5-7 inches.
Susan: Well Im game for the road trip. If we go to Alaska I want to see the Northern lights!

I just stepped outside. We didnt get nearly as much snow as they predicted. In fact I think I drove home during the heaviest snowfall. I gotta say - it sure looks pretty.

I believe that you are a Cyber Bully, nicki. Anything I ever sent was to show people what was being said by so called "friends" behind their backs. That was over 2 months ago and I do believe a friend of yours said anything that was dug up from months prior and brought to light yet again, was Cyber Bullying. I have sent no PM's. I, personally, have not sent any emails except the ones mentioned above a couple months ago. I'm so sorry you feel the way you do. Oh Nicki, my friend .. what the hell happened and why would you post this kind of trife on here? Cheri's forum is far from negative and you are giving people the wrong impression of it, even as you single her out and say the rest of us are wonderful. You are saying it's a negative forum and I just want to clear that up. It's a bunch of close friends hanging out together on a non-cancer board. This really saddens me to see this happen. As much as people might hate to hear it, we have much better things to do than talk about anyone here or at Gina's. I know, I know .. it's more fun to gossip about what the evils at Cheri's site must be up to. Sorry to disappoint you people but it's not that way. I for one will proudly go on record to say that Cheri is one of the most real, decent, loyal friends I know and I am tired of seeing her being ganged up on by so called friends and "sisters". When she got banned from BCO, she was defending Nicki and also was one of the only ones posting regularly trying to keep the Circle alive here. Nobody noticed that loyalty. She went overboard but she knew she was about to be banned for something ridiculous ... her anger came out in her posts. Hmmm, can we forget those moments of anger like we're asking to forget about others? I certainly hope we aren't being hypocritical and only following that advice when it's most convenient to do so.
