Sheila - that is a bummer.  Not sure what happened cause they usually have the video clips.

Blessings, I just want to slap Brooke Burke Chavet when she asks a hurtful question, so inappropriate for the occasion.

lvtoqlt - If you go to youtube you can see the whole dance for each contestant in its entirety.

Sheila, DWS must have just posted last nights show.  Headline banner is now Watch Last Night's Show.

Karen -  I hear ya!!!  Yell

    I just love this thread!!!!

Eight minutes to DWTS in Cali....DH has a meeting, so it's on DVR. We'll fast forward through all the commercials. We'll also FF through our favorite Hostess comments and questions, too!  Wink

I've taped the last two nights as I was busy. Came home last night and watched the whole thing. Skipped to the end tonight but will go back tomorrow and watch the whole thing tomorrow. Not disappointed with the outcome.

Now that they have the encore on Tuesday night from 8:00-9:00 you can watch that and do away with all the judge's comments and the hostess commentary.  The only thing you wouldn't get to see are the judge's scores for each contestant.  Monday night is a little too drawn out for me.

Ok, I was looking at the DWS fan page and there has just the recap. I will try watching it tonight, no time this morning.

Nancy, I agree with the Sherri Sheperd comment, that she missed that one move but yet wasn't penalized for it in the scoring.  Yet with another contestant, the judges might have magnified the mistake and taken off points for it.

Oh, and Len so far seems to be in a particularly good mood this season, what's up with that?

Another comment:  Jack Waggner told only half the story when he spoke of opening his door and some girl looks at him and says "I'm your daughter."  Uh....what's the full story on that?  They sort of glossed over whatever it was.

I wasn't too big a fan of the 'most memorable year' theme.  Maria Menounos saying "1984 when I used to go with my family to clean offices"......(or whatever year it was).  Come on, that was just lame.

It is that point in the competition where those with the most fans will stay a bit longer than less well known dancers.

To enjoy the show, I had to reconcile myself to the fact that is not always the best dancers who remain and the worst that get booted, but often it comes down to those with the biggest fan base and/or the 'best' personal story.

I was upset to see Jack Wagner go. I guess he didn't have a good fan base.  BTW, I voted 33 times for the guy...lol.

candie - just curious....does it cost anything to vote for the contestants?

DH and I have never voted....we're just too cynical. I just watch and make snotty comments!!! Undecided

I wasn't sure how voting worked, and how much it cost.

I have never in my life voted for one of these TV show contestants.  I'm curious as to what inspires one to do that...I just don't have the motivation.

Kara and Blessings....I just started voting about 3 seasons ago. I really like Jack Wagner. Though I knew he would not make it to the end, I just wanted him to stay in as long as possible.

Blessings, it does not cost to vote. I called 11 times (that is the limit) from my landline phone, 11 times from my cell phone and 11 from my computer on their website. It only costs if you text message.  lol on the "snotty" comments.

    Happy Easter!

Candy - nice to see you here.  I had to smile at your 33 votes.  You were on a mission!  I usually log in to abc and cast my votes there.  Although this week the website was having some problems and the counter wasn't working properly.  I think the servers were overloaded.  Anyways, I was able to spread out the votes among my favs.  This is one tough season!  Love it.

Kaara - the motivation comes from wanting your fav couple to win.  Laughing

Next week is going to be interesting. I hope Melissa will be sent home.

Odalys, I think Melissa will be sticking around for a bit.  She has a big fan base.  I think Sherri & Gladys will go before her, as well as Gavin. Maybe even Jaleel if he doesn't step up his game.

It seems the celebrities from Disney, even tho they often dance pretty well, don't tend to stick around.  I think that's because their fan base is made up of young kids and teenagers and they're not the main age group who watch DWTS.

Thanks for the interesting comment ladies.  This is my first time watching and I'm still in awe at the talent but maybe I'll get over that soon lol.  Sheesh I just figured out that Maks and Val are brothers!

Divine - I still hope Melissa is sent home. Her dancing is not that good.  She seems struggling to keep up and honestly she just doesn't look that graceful.  But, maybe the fans keep her on for another week.  I really don't think she is up to the competition.  Jaleel is way better than her.  He has rhythm and I love how he holds his lines and can transition from one position to the next...smooth.    He is a way better dancer than Melissa.  Gabin is another one who is struggling.  Gladys is not that great but she has a huge fan base so I think fans will keep her a bit longer.  I also noticed the judges were kinder to her.  I think they are star struck.  Anything can happen so we shall see...

I am ready..rock is my favorite kind of music.

Odalys, I think Melissa will stick around a while..I do hope so only for Maks. I feel sorry for him. Why don't they give him women like they give to the Hough guy. If I was Maks I would quit!

It is a good year this time...lots of good dancers. I think the final will come down to William and Katherine.

    Have fun watching tonight!

    hugs

I figured out why I can't watch it here at the Inn, their WI-FI is a slow one and when I tried watching it last week the playback kept stopping. I was however able to watch it at home on Saturday. I won't get upset if you say what happened.

Hi Candie - Hunkie Maks is unusually quiet this season.  I guess all the shannanigans from last season got him in trouble.

Katherine is adorable and her dancing was great!  It must be hard to dance ballroom to rock and roll.

Shelia - Glad you were able to watch on Sat.  Got to have your weekly fix of DWTS.  LOL

Maybe he's been warned not to pinch the ladies anymore and just has to keep his hands busy?

Am I the only one who thought tonight's show was a bit schizophrenic?  Rock and Roll is not ballroom.  The music was terrible. The customes were too distracting.  Arggggggggg....

    Chabba - too funny.
