    At the beginning of the show when they ran the footage of Donald Driver picking up Melissa and carrying her out of the studio after she was injured, I knew there was no way they were going to show that and then turn around and say "Donald, you're in jeopardy."   I got a chuckle seeing Little Half-Pint (Melissa) and Gene Simmons together in the same screen shot.....

    After last night's show (all 3  minutes I saw of it, and your comments) I didn't even have the energy to watch tonight to see who got booted off.

    I told DH "Let's skip it. I'll find out on the forum."

    So Sherri went home? Too bad, at least she was funny!!!

    Just saw a different side of Len that I rather liked.  Earlier in the evening I watched a PBS special that he did on the Titanic.  When Len was young he was a riveter in a shipyard.  As he put it he sweat all day, went home, cleaned up and danced all night.  He did a very good and showed his soft side as he spoke about some of those lost at sea, both victims and the heroes who died saving others.

    I didn't mind Sherri going either.  

    I thought it was Gavin carrying Meliisa out?  Am I confused? I usually am.

    I missed Melissa's drama. How did she get the concussion and what happened to Maks? I heard it was Gavin that carried her out...?



    Cheryl- OMG, Karina and Jose dance was a jaw dropper. The way she twists her body is amazing. I loved it and found myself glued to the tv during their dance. I wonder how they can visualize such complex routines and never miss a beat. A true art!

    Sad that Sherry went home but I know that she wanted to and well, they all have to go sooner or later.

    I think Derek should get someone challenging for a change !

    I do enjoy the show!

    I saw the Titantic special too...very interesting.

    Geez, I'd crack my head on purpose if I were guaranteed to have Donald carry me out!!!!!

    Badger - Here is the link to last night's dance by Karina and Jose.  It's a modern tango.  Just move the play bar towards the middle of the screen to fast forward to their dance.  Karina is wearing a red dress and Jose is dressed in black pants with a red shirt.  Enjoy!

    I have to admit I wasn't much of a Derek fan but he's been on Live with Kelly a few times and co hosted with her and he's grown on me and yes I'd love to see him get someone challenging to teach that said, I really like Maria Menunos and I know she must be in agony with her feet being in the shape they're in.

    I was surprised Sherri went home.  I can see why Wagner went home, poor choice of everything.  I think Maria needs to give it up, the show is not worth being able to walk without pain for the rest of her life.  

     Predicting a winner for the season, the athlete paired with Peta.  Second, the Engllish lady.  

    No time to read everything, have to go to bed and pack more tomorrow.  Up too late as it is.

    OK so Karina is Karina Smirnoff who is Gavin (hat guy)'s partner this season, and Jose is Jose Manual Carreno, who is a famous Cuban ballet dancer.  Man I bet she was loving being able to dance with someone so accomplished instead of a newbie!

    I'm not a big William Levy fan, but tonight I thought he was seriously hot.

    Donald Driver cracks me up.  He's so masculine and sexy on the dance floor but when he stops to listen to the judges comments, he looks just like a little boy.  So funny.

    Loved Carrie Anne's dress, but the braid and feather in the hair seemed like an odd choice.  Brooke-blah. I sorta kinda liked Chelsea's feathery bird dress. 

    Melissa.....horrible outfit, why can they not get it right for her?  They should tone it down in her case.  When she danced she reminded me of a puppy who's paws are too big for his body.  A little clunky.

    I was glad Katherine gave a good performance, she is so sweet and fun to watch. 

    No way did Gladys deserve an 8, I thought her performance was kinda painful to watch.  But it seems Gavin will be the one to go tomorrow.

    I liked Maria last week, but this week I thought her dance was pretty sleezy. Donald, William, Catherine all great. I liked Gladys better than Gavin or Melissa.......

    Also thought Maria was a bit boring...sort of predictable.  onvacation, very good observation, you're probably right about Gladys.

    I didn't care for that belt thingy around the middle of Karina's waist.

    They're supposed to have a dance off of two couples with the lowest scores.  Well, I don't really want to see Gavin's painful attempt again!  We've already seen these dances once,  I don't care to see low score-getting couples put it out there again. It kind of brings the excitement down.

    Catherine and William are my favorites.  Not sure what happened to Derek and Maria tonight.  That was way too much drama and not enough dancing. It was just over the top...sleezy is right. 

    onvacation - I agree with you. No way Gladys earned an 8.

    Maybe the dance off with the lowest scorers will be more fair? For instance, there is no way (dancing-wise) that Rhoson should have been in the bottom two last week. Maybe it will keep some better dancers from being eliminated because they don't have as big of a fan base.

    Was it my poor eyes or did it look to anyone else like they may have used the whole season's supply of spray tan tonight?

    I think they may have gone a bit overboard with the spray tan last night.  I wonder if it had anything to do with Latin night...hmmmm?

    I was over at a friend's house last night and saw bits and pieces....I did see Jaleel (with his spray-on six-pack!) and Melissa.

    Thought Jaleel did pretty good (he sure is getting the publicity these days regarding his ex-GF!) and Melissa just doesn't seem to be able to move fast enough for any dance. (Although it kind of looked like Maks was deliberately trying to give her another concussion/whiplash at some points!)

    I just wasn't all that interested, so didn't replay it when I got home. Maybe when there's fewer contestants and it's not two hours long....
