Have to agree With you Ruth -on just about everything. Red for was just stupid but maybe I'm just getting old. And I thought Nene looked really heavy footed. But i did like the theme.

as a side note Redfoo is Berry Gordys son, Berry Gordy was the founder of Motown Records, loving the show so far, but then again I'm a party girl, all these songs are songs I dance and spin to.

I thought Nene was going to have a costume malfunction at one point.

    Enjoyed Charlie's glow-light dancing.

Amy is so amazing, I can't do half what she did and I have two good legs (but two left feet). Derek knows how to bring out the best in her.

Meryl did look like one of the professionals.

I would like to see Meryl, Amy, Charlie and James as the final four. It was time for Drew to go.

I got a chance to watch several of the dances....WOW what a show!!!

cheryl, thanks for the trivia about Redfoo, I didn't know he was from Motown royalty! I didn't mind him; I think his being on the show is an attempt to attract younger viewers.

    Good call on the elimination.

LOVED the party dance theme.  Loved how all the judges but Len got funky with their clothes, and it "suited" Len to be formally dressed.

Are we really seeing a turn-around in Maks' outlook. approach and behavior? The way Meryl literally reached out to him and touched his soul was nothing short of magic. For the first time, Maks shed his macho image and I loved it. It was like beauty taming the beast.

I thought Danica was amazing, too. If there weren't so many other fabulous dancers, I could see her winning.  She sort of reminds me of when Brooke Burke was a contestant, it was surprising when Brooke was so good, and I feel the same about Danica. I see a friendly rivalry between Maks and Val. Neither has won a mirror ball trophy so you know that rivalry's there even if they don't speak of it.

Peta & James, also entertaining.  Charlie and Sharna-another amazing performance, tho I do wish Charlie would get his hair cut in some kind of style.

Amy....or as Derek said "the dirty Purdy".......just incredible.  I loved the 'shout' theme of her being at a wedding. She's gorgeous.

It really was a great night. I agree with your Final Four, 2nd. They are all wonderful dancers, and seem like very nice people too. It will be hard to eliminate any of them!!

I just loved Maks and Meryl, they really are great together and oh boy Derek and Amy, I rewound and watched them over and over she is truly amazing, she must have incredible strength in her core and really liked Danica as well but I'm think I'm for Maks and Meryl to win the mirrorball, mind you I could change my mind, it's really hard when there are so many good pairs to choose from, am really loving this season .

Yes, and I also got the impression that the judges are leaning most favorably towards Meryl and I think they're wanting Maks to finally win a mirror ball.  It sort of makes me wonder, when Maks negotiated terms to rejoin the show, if one stipulation was that he was paired with a partner who, from the start, would have serious potential to go all the way to the finals.  As we know...if you get to the finals, it's all about the free style and I've seen strong contenders miss the mark with that dance and walk away without the trophy.

I never really liked Maks before, he always struck me as arrogant. Meryl has reached his sensitive side and I think he is much the better for it. I agree on the final four candidates.

I just read the following about Danica.  I must say, I think it goes too far when they start breaking bones.

It's been a stellar season for Danica McKellar so far on "Dancing with the Stars," but things are about to get a lot tougher for the actress.

The "Wonder Years" star admitted on Friday that she was injured in practice.

"I broke a rib in yesterday's #DWTS rehearsal. Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing," she said.

Hopefully McKellar's partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, can put something together that won't strain her core too much Monday when Ricky Martin joins the judges in the ballroom..

Ok, does anyone know when is the DWTS finale? Only asking because they are advertising on our local LA station that there will be a Stars on Ice tour featuring Meryl Davis and Charlie White, appears to be starting May 3rd if I read it right. How can they do the tour and compete on DWTS?

Here's the link if you want to check it out:

    http://www.starsonice.com/

That's like next week, right? Were they thinking neither was going to make it this far? Sure seems like a busy schedule just with the tour, add in the DTWS -- seems crazy to me

I don't know the date of the finals, but they are touring.  They were just in Pittsburgh last Friday at Consol Energy Center...(my son lives in a high rise apartment just next door and attends college nearby....we live an hour away).  The Pittsburgh news station showed a few pictures of Max in downtown Pittsburgh.  I hadn't realized they were touring until a few days before or I might have considered it.  But tickets were about $100 a piece, so we didn't go (taking a couple vacations this year so saving money).  Then I heard there were lots of empty seats in the arena which irritates me because all they had to do was lower the prices by about $25 and they could have sold more.  But I would loved to have seen them.

As for did they think they'd make it this far in the DWTS competition?  YES, they did! They believed they could bring home the gold in the Olympics, right?

Maddy I think in last weeks Charlie package they filmed it while he was on "tour" so they are out on the road as well as competing, hey that's what private planes are all about!!!!!

Derek and Amy were on Ellen today (not sure whether show was live or taped).  Mr 2TA was home, he usually pokes fun at the DWTS show, but was impressed with both of them individually and together. It was a routine they've done before, but looked great.

Looking forward to tonight then, one more hour

Okay, it should be close enough to the end in the West for me to post:

*loved the Latin Dancing! Reminded me of my Zumba class (only the dancing was one million times better! Loopy)

*love Ricky Martin....good singer, good dancer, good judge

    * still do not at all like Erin......or tweeting whether Tony should take off his shirt or not.....

*if that many people are getting really injured, are they pushing things too hard?

    * loved both group dances....I'm wondering though, if one group gets judged on tape instead of live, wouldn't it be more fair if they both were? Or wasn't that an advantage?

    * I don't know if Amy's back influenced her dance or not, she said it didn't, and if that is true then I think she may be at the point where her legs are going to start to be a problem for her

    * you could tell that Danika was injured. Cute dance, but not up to her usual standards

    * Candace did the best she has ever done....nice lines, finally looked like she was into it

    * Charlie: good, maybe is trying too hard

    * James: SLURP, be still my beating heart!

*Meryl: again the top dancer IMO. I did agree with Len that she didn't need to have all those other dancers around, made it a little busy, but great performance.

    * glad to see Nene gone. She seemed rather ungracious to me when, in her goodbye, she complained about going up against Olympic Champions. HELLO, that is part of the gig.

    A fun night!

loved Ricky. Very good as a judge

The shirt thing wasn't fun. Tony even looked embarrased!

Amy's legs may get in her way. Derek is really going to have to work at choosing what she can pull off. Did you see Derek pick her up and carry her up the stairs after the dance? And I saw the pain in her eyes. There is no faking real pain.

I guess the rehearsal footage was the best they could do. Perhaps the other group could have the choice to dance or use the footage?

    Danica did look hurt.

Charlie did try too hard but I'd rather have that than NeNe!!!! Not sorry she's gone. No chemistry between her and Tony. Poor Tony. LOL She was just so slow. No sharpness in her dance.

Candace looked good. Psych helped? LOL

    James and Peta!!!!!!!! Oooh hhhhhooooottttt!!!!!!÷!

    Maryl is great.

    Be interesting next week.

Yep glad Nene is gone, really looked like she wasn't even trying in the group dance and I know they're tired and their bodies are at breaking point.

Loved Meryl and thought Candace did an excellent job tonight. Wow Peta, just Wow.

I liked the show last night, but I wasn't thrilled with it. I thought Erin finally looked appropriate with a dress that FIT and hair and makeup...hated the thing about Tony taking his shirt off.

Carrie Ann had a hair cut and I liked it.  I didn't think Ricky Martin brought much to the show and I'm getting a little weary of guest judges; go back to just the 3 original.

NeNe's comment about being with Olympians didn't bother me; she's right, with no dance experience and to still be on the floor with the likes of them is an impressive accomplishment.

Danica really bothered me, continually flipping her hair up like she was filming a shampoo commercial, with that dumb open mouth expression on her face.  On the other hand, it WAS Candace's best dance, loved it.  Peta's garter get-up was a bit much!  Maybe if it wasn't so bright red?

I loved Charlie & Sharna's dance and was amazed they didn't get any 10's!  I never saw Sharna dance better.

Amy, my darling Amy, I hope she is okay. How does Derek manage to carry her up those stairs?  I loved their dancing!  I love her! Her boyfriend is pretty hot, too!

Meryl, Meryl, Meryl.  Omgosh.  That girl got some magic.  She has Max eating out of the palm of her hand and I never seen him so content to just get out there and show off his moves and not try to stir up controversy. Their dance was SMOKIN'.

Glad to see NeNe (or as I called her, NoNo) go. She struck me as an egotist with a chip on her sholder.  I felt sorry for Tony.

I think part of the reason for the change in Max is having a partner he can respect for her achievements and natural talent, both in a field he can relate to,  Mostely, though, I think he took to heart the little talk she had with him and was impressed with the fact that she did it.  Whatever it was, he comes across as much nicer, they have great chemistry and their moves on the dance floor are a wonder.

I saw Nene on a few shows today and I have to say she was very gracious and I misunderstood something she said last night and she said it again today, basically she was proud of herself to have been in a show with Olympians and was able to hold her own with no dance experience and I have to give her that, she did do well to have made it that far.

Ha, ha, love that NeNe = NoNo.

Meryl doesn't seem to get too whacked out or emotional about the pressure of the show plus she's used to working with a male partner and not one of those Hollywood starlets whose career is all self-centered and often seemingly superficial. Merly not only meets Maks' physical levels but also the mental one and I don't think Maks has had that in partner before. He doesn't have to spend energy getting her into the right mindset; they can concentrate on the routine. He's glad he came back this season, lol.

Tony Tambioli was so right when he told Meryl she was dancing in front of six of the best dancers in the world yet all eyes were on her.  It's true!  She's confident without being cocky.  Instead of being fearful or worried or stressed, she's out on the floor giving us the goods, entertaining us, as if she's thinking, "I've got this". She also has a certain kind of sexuality that is just...there...hard to describe it, but she doesn't flaunt it but it's there and not manufactured for the camera.

Latin Night was great, music and dancing.  Agree with results and thought NeNe was gracious in defeat.  Gosh I hate to see so many injuries.  Hard to say who'll go next but I pick Meryl & Maks to win.

I agree badger.  Meryl does have a bit of an advantage. She has years of experience being tossed around and knowing how best to be caught. She has already achieved something no one else has managed to do.  She found and brought out the real Maks.  I hope he stays visable.
